What's everyone's opinion on this episode? The lesser-known half of an episode with a fan favorite in "Love'em and Flea'em."

interesting episode, gave me inspiration for a story I'm writting on too (though it has a mature theme so it might be on deviant art or fanfiction.net)

I think Cruella was completely out of her mind thinking that Roger was keeping Jimbo as a pet. How can an elephant be a household pet? I suppose if there was a giant squid living at the farm, she'd find him to be Roger's pet too!

Ah, Discussion on Individual Episodes! =3 Nice idea, Race. ;3
Well, To answer you, Belchic; Cruella would find any excuse to get the Farm for the Dearlys, So she'd just say Roger got the elephant as an excuse, without considering any other possibilities that it might be.
But keeping elephants as Pets is not as farfetched as you might think. There are some people who actually have Pet Goats, Llamas, Bears, even Hippo’s & Giraffe, surprisingly enough. O.o
It’s been a while, Since I’ve seen the episode actually! So, I might need to rewatch it…Considering that, it’s been a while since I’ve seen “Love ‘Em Flea ‘Em” too! O.O
Still, I’ll comment on it, as soon as I see it! ;3
What else do you, Pups think on it? =3

To me this episode is just "In the middle".
Not the series' best, but also not the worst.

I thought this episode was mixed. The whole "you have to be responsible to have a pet" story works for kids cartoons but seems almost too much of a strech when all your main characters already are pets. Doing so with an exotic animal no sane person would keep as a pet almost makes it worse (it would have required a different spin on the B-story but wouldn't a lizard or something have worked better).
There were some funny bits in this episode (the part with the paint, Roger singing in the shower) but it's still overall a very odd episode.
It's also worth noting this is probably the most ignored episode Fanon-wise as the whole "only 101 pets beyond livestock" rule in the deed is completely disregarded in almost all our fanfics and fancharacters.

Doing so with an exotic animal no sane person would keep as a pet almost makes it worse (it would have required a different spin on the B-story but wouldn't a lizard or something have worked better). Well, It's not as though the Dalmatians aren't use to Lizards. They live near a Swamp with Reptiles such as Steven & Cydney, so they would most likely know how to handle it. I guess it was an elephant either to...A. Make a Dumbo joke, or B. Elephants are extremely difficult to hide, so the Pups would have some shenanigans trying to keep it out of sight. It's like in movies, such as, E.T, where the Child is trying so hard to keep an alien out of sight. Very hard to do. ^^; As for "Main Characters are Pets" part, be fair, it had been established numourous times that the Animals thinks that their Humans are the Pets in the "101 Dalmatians" verse. So the Dalmatians probably think they're getting an addition to Roger, Anita & Nanny. ;3 Yeah, That factor has almost been a hole in our "101 Dalmatians" Verse. ^^; Like, Kit, Hesso, Roxy, Snapshot, etc. I always figured that, after the episode, Roger went and updated the deed, permitting himself to have more than "101 Pets", although in "Barnboozled" it showed he was good at finding some loopholes, when it came to Cruella. So maybe he found something. I'm for the "He updated the Deed" guess though. ^^; Some people question "But what about the other Farm Animals?" Would they count as Dearly Pets, or is it excusable since they're Working Animals, rather than pets? What do you think then? o.o
