Quick question, but what would be the best way to color a drawing? Doing the coloring on the computer or doing it by hand?

It really depends on your preference, there is no real "best" or "right/wrong way." Whatever is easier for you.
Though I prefer computer coloring, because to me it's faster since all I do is click paint bucket tool and boom, colored image XD

Like Nemo, it depends on what you're best at. ;3
I usually colour with Photoshop however Pencil colours are good too. ;3
Whilst Puffy is good as a Felt Pen Artist, I always see that they tend to leave some big white marks and if you go over an area too much with Pen, it makes the picture damp. ^^;
Still, Like Nemo said, it all depends what works best for you. ;3
Does this help, Boeing? X3

Thanks Bab. I have GIMP, but I might need to try different things, see how they turn out. Although, I guess I should use plain white paper instead of notebook paper.

I still need to find better ways of perfecting my artwork, myself. I use a similar method, what with drawing traditionally, going over in highlighter pen, scanning and touching up in GIMP (multiplying a couple times using the layers is actually a good trick to get the lineart really bold, I've found...). I do seem to have an issue though with the stray pencil marks, which take a real honest amount of work and effort to erase to perfection. Most of my attempted "artwork" never make it past that stage... if they manage to make it onto the scanner to begin with, that is. xD
But yeah, some people are great working 100% digitally, but I wouldn't rule out traditional work either. I know a few people who draw and colour everything traditionally before scanning and it usually looks great, too. I guess it depends on what sort of style you want to go for, though I'm not much of an artist myself soooo... my advice is to mostly experiment and find what you like the best and where you find your preferred results. 'tis what I do!~

I prefer colored pencils, though I use Photoshop CS5 for the final editing and color imperfections.
