I thought I should add one here after having watched all three of those particular NC videos. For this one, I can’t believe this mistake was never pointed out, and it deserves to be. Here it is:
In the Critic’s review on Home Alone 3, he kept saying many times that Alex is a five-year-old. Alex is eight years old, not five years old. There was a scene in the movie where Alex said to his mom that he is eight years old. His exact words at that point in that scene was “I’m only eight, and I figured that out”.

Two more that I just thought up:
1. In his Muppet Family Christmas review, the Critic said the special was never released on DVD or Blu-Ray. Wrong! The special was released on DVD! I should know because I have a physical copy of it myself! Though much like the VHS version, the DVD version is edited down from the TV broadcast version due to copyright restrictions with some of the musical numbers.
2. In this year’s Disneycember, Doug made a review of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In his review, he talks about an episode where Rabbit takes care of a baby bird, but he always addresses the bird as “he”. The bird in that episode was a girl! All the characters addressed Kessie as “she” and “her”. The episode is even called, “Find HER, Keep HER”! How can he not notice that???

I have three more to share here:
1. In the Critic’s review on the live-action Inspector Gadget movie, he said during Officer John Brown’s introduction that this character hasn’t even said anything, and he already hated the actor playing him in the movie (Matthew Broderick). However, right before the Critic made that comment, Officer Brown did say something! He greeted a couple of people. He said “good morning” to one person and “hey” to another. How could the Critic miss that?
2. In the Critic’s third and final F*ck-Up video, he made an attempt to correct the mistake he made in his review on Gordy, only to end up making the same mistake again in this video! The mistake is that he referred to a pot as a pan. As he brought up the mistake, he also said that the difference between a pot and a pan is that one has a handle and the other doesn’t, when the actual difference between those two is that one has more depth than the other. He later brought that repeated mistake up in his review on Jungle 2 Jungle, seeming to still not be able to tell the difference between a pot and a pan, but he told his viewers that he’s not doing another F*ck-Up video. Well, since he said he’s not doing any more of these particular videos, it’s only right that I point this mistake out here.
3. In the Critic’s review on the live-action remake of Aladdin, he said that Aladdin was told to touch nothing but the lamp in the Cave of Wonders like in the original animated version. He probably didn’t even pay attention to the change in that line in the live-action remake. In the live-action remake, Aladdin was told to take nothing but the lamp, not touch. “Take” and “touch” are different things. Instead of acknowledging this change, he went on to do a mock count on how many things in the Cave of Wonders were touched when Aladdin and Abu were wandering around in there and assume that Abu taking the ruby is one too many touched for the Cave itself. I hope that Doug would do a Disneycember video on this movie and acknowledge this mistake in it.

In his recent commercial special, the Critic has random encounters with Michael Giacchino who tells him the story of how he wrote the jingle for Flintstones Vitamins. However, Michael Giacchino did NOT write the song! It was actually written by Martin O’Donnell and Jim Morris.

I have a couple more to share:
1. In the video in which the Critic grades intros to cartoon shows, he calls an alicorn a unicorn while talking about the intro to She-Ra: Princess Of Power. There’s a difference between a unicorn and an alicorn. An alicorn has wings and a horn on its forehead, and a unicorn has a horn on its forehead but no wings.
2. Back in 2015, the Critic started a segment called WTR?, or Was That Real? The last time he made a video for that segment, it was back in 2016, four years ago. What happened to that segment? He made more videos in which he talked about more shows afterwards, but none of them are part of that segment. Did he think those shows he later talked about weren’t strange enough to be featured in that segment? Did he forget about that segment? Did he make a choice not to continue doing that segment? There’s no explanation about what happened to it, and I think there should be.

He said this in his Jungle 2 Jungle review. As he was commenting on the part where Tim Allen’s character (Michael Cromwell) was pointing out the pot that Mimi Siku had, he made a claim that that character couldn’t “tell the difference between a pot and a pan” and told his viewers “Don’t leave any comments about it. We’re not doing another F*ck-Up video.” Check that review out, and you’ll find that he said that there.

In the Critic’s most recent commercial episode, he makes some remarks about the Sun Country Wine Cooler starring Vincent Price in a polar bear costume. He claimed it to be the most random thing ever and assumed that Vincent Price insisted he wore the costume in the commercial. However, what he failed to realize is that commercial was actually part of a series of commercials for the product that featured celebrities in polar bear costumes, and it always ended with them taking off the head piece. How can he have not figured that out given that these commercials are all suggested to him by his fans?

In his Polar Express review, he claims that the movie came out the same year as Garfield, but Garfield actually came out the following year.

Okay, there’s a recurring f-up that has been going on in the NC videos lately. It’s been going on for over a year, now, and it’s still going on today.
In most of the recent NC videos, it just cuts to black, stays black for a couple of seconds, and cuts back to the review. I know that in the earlier NC videos, it cuts to black and cuts back to the review a couple of seconds later in order to establish a break somewhere in the middle, but the series has a different way of going into a break since it was brought back in 2013, and aside from the commercial specials, it hasn’t cut to black in the middle of a review since then. And even back in the earlier NC videos, when they do cut to black to as a way of going into a break, there’s a proper setup that actually leads to it. The way it just cuts to black in the more recent reviews—once again, aside from the commercial specials—it’s just random! The cutting to black in the more recent reviews is something that happens out of nowhere, as there is nothing set up that leads to it. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with whatever they use to make the videos that’s causing that to happen, or if someone was just f*cking around, thinking that it’s funny or okay to add out-of-nowhere cuts in the videos, but whatever the reason behind all that is, this whole thing is what I still believe to be a total f-up.

Actually, the reason the videos do that is to allow for YouTube ads to play in those spots. Also, it was to put in ads for the sponsors of each episode.

Building on what Belchic said, if a video gets demonitized due to... say cussing or vulgar humor, which is something that Nostalgia Critic is known for, then there won't be any ads playing from YouTube, but the cut where the ad was supposed to play will still be there. Likewise if you have an adblocker, then all you will see is the fade to black with no ad.

I also find it weird he didn't know Scrappy was Scooby's nephew.
