Well, On the Flight to America, I got a chance to see Brave.
Without giving too much away, I will say that the Plot reminded me a bit much on "Brother Bear". It had alot of similar themes in it along with the main story.
I will say, Chel is right when she says the Brothers are pretty much, Huey, Duey & Louie. ^^;
So, Brave was Okay, but not one of Pixar's finest. Any other Pups seen it too?

I too have seen Brave when my sister and I went to the theatre.
And I can see why the film reminded you of Brother Bear, though I don't want to spoil the film for the ones who haven't seen the film.
And I too will jump on this bandwagon and say that Merida's brothers were silent through the whole film. My guess is because they couldn't find voice actors to voice them?

Good characters, good acting, great animation, mediocre story. The original director was left, though, so that's probably why.

I adored the way this movie looked and the characters where funny and memorable. Though the movie felt somewhat "small" - It took place in such few locations. I had kinda hoped to be treated to vast, beautiful Scottish highlands. Though what nature was shown was nice. As for the acting, I saw the movie dubbed to my native language, the only version they would show in theaters. While I usually do not mind our dubs, I badly wanted to see this movie's splendid scenery be colored further by Scottish accents.

It did feel small! Parts of it felt more like an episode of a follow-up series to itself than a full-length movie.
