Two new characters, both of which I've been working on for quite some time now! Marisol was an old character I made back in the summer of 2010, but she never really got published or a lot of development. Now she has a sister and they're both done.
Name: Marisol
Nicknames: Mari
Gender: Female
Breed: Goldmation (Golden Retriever/Dalmatian)
Age: Older teen, around 17 or 18; a few minutes older than Abril.
Height: A little larger than average
Weight: Just a tiny bit lighter than Abril, otherwise, heavier than average.
Collar: Red
Sexuality: Straight
Marital Status: Single
Alignment: Lawful/Chatoic good
Appearance: Marisol is just a bit bigger than the average Dalmatian. Her entire body is black, with her face, muzzle, chest and belly being all white. Mari’s right ear is black and her left ear is beige-yellow. She has three white spots on her black ear and two black spots on her beige-yellow ear. Her front paws are white, and her hind paws are a beige-yellow color. She has two beige-yellow spots on her right hip (the only spots on her body), and a beauty spot and smaller spot underneath on her right cheek. The end half of her tail is white, and she wears a red collar.
Personality: Marisol is very intelligent and inquisitive, around Josh’s level of this more than Vera’s. She is very curious about science, mostly biology studies. She’s extremely factual about how a dog’s body, as well as a human’s and a few other animal’s bodies work, as well as why certain things happen in nature. Her dream is to help work a veterinarian’s office. Mari, due to her intelligence and well-readness can also sometimes be blunt or not take a joke very well. She’s not shy by any means and will be the first to inquire if something is wrong.
Name: Abril
Nickname(s): None
Gender: Female
Breed: Goldmation (Golden Retriever/Dalmatian)
Age: Older teen, around 17 or 18
Height: A little larger than average
Weight: Heavier than average, but not by much
Collar: Green
Sexuality: Straight
Marital Status: Single
Alignment: Neutral/Chaotic good
Appearance: Abril looks quite a bit like her twin sister, Marisol. She has the same black coat and white front paws, with her right ear being beige-yellow and her left ear being white. However, while Mari’s face, muzzle, chest and belly are all white, that same area on Abril’s body is beige-yellow. Her front paws are white, like Mari’s, but her back paws are black. She has more spots than Mari; two white on her right leg, five on her left leg (3 being white, 2 being beige-yellow), one white on her right hindleg, and three (one beige-yellow and two white) on her left hindleg. She also has two black spots on each ear, a white tail-tip, and she wears a green collar.
Personality: Not quite as intellectual as her sister, but still rather smart and curious. She’d rather have fun chasing a Frisbee than studying up on science, but she gets along well with Mari all the same. She’s extremely outgoing, never passes up a chance to say hi to a fellow pup, and enjoys playing games that may get her dirty, which perfectly depicts both the Dalmatian and Retriever in her. One game she adores is fetch- if anything is thrown, Abril will always be the first to try and catch it.
Biography: Marisol and Abril were born to a Golden Retriever mother named Alexandra, and a Dalmatian father named Spackle. They were the only two in the litter; however, they also had an older sister from a previous litter named Nikki, who had been the runt of the litter before. They lived with a veterinarian who took excellent care of the five of them. Living with this vet was what prompted Mari’s curiosity about science and anatomy, and she took to reading the books that their owner had on these topics. Abril, however, preferred to play with Nikki and her parents. Life was great for them. But as time went on, five dogs was a bit much for the vet to keep. She made the decision to give Marisol and Abril up for adoption, as they were twins and had spent their entire life together. They were quickly adopted by a large family, with five children. But, the family soon found that it was too chaotic for them to keep two dogs around the house, and they brought them to an animal shelter. Marisol and Abril, sick of being bumped from home to home, escaped the shelter and found themselves running through Grutely. After a few days of travel, they wound up at the Dearly Farm, where they decided to make a permanent home.
