kotaku.com/5949895/humans-are-the-enemy-in-this-ridiculous-peta-pokemon-parodyPETA becomes the IRL Team Plasma, they ripped off Pokémon saying it promotes inhumane containment of animals (they compared Pokémon inside pokeballs to Elephants in a cramped cages and also compared Pokémon Trainers to cruel circus animal trainers using shock sticks) Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Pokémon express the value of people and animals (the pokemon) working together? PETA seems to have it out for Nintendo after they shamelessly ripped off New Super Mario Bros twice (and bashed both KFC and McDonalds in both. oh and Pam Anderson Lee does not make a better Peach.) Super Mario 3D Land (due to the return of the Tanooki suit which PETA claims Mario kills Tanookis for the suit which is obviously BS since we know Tanookis are mythical creatures like Kitsunes) and Cooking Mama (tofu doesn't make for a better turkey, bring on the meat this Thanksgiving!).

I watched a playthrough of this game on YT.. and honestly I think it's hilarious as heck XD
Though for some reason I secretly want Nintendo to sue them for copyright.

Yeah! I thought the entire point of Pokemon was that "The Trainers and the Pokemon share a Friendship". The entire point of the game is to Look After your Pokemon. They obviously have Never Played a Pokemon Game in their Life!
I seen footage of the Cooking Mother one. You spend the entire game making the Turkey, depicting Mother (and by association, ANY meat eater) as a deranged psychopath! And when you do make the Turkey, they then go "Mother has now had a change of Heart! Make Tofu!" I was like "Dude! I just made a Turkey! I am not cooking another meal!"
Also, Tanooki's are mythical animals and as far as I am aware, Mario doesn't kill anything to get them. It's just a costume that gives him Magic Powers. Next thing you know, they're going to be calling him a Monster for Eating Mushrooms!
PETA, The Socceer Mothers of Vegeterians/Vegans, eh?

I told you guys. PETA is to animals as SOPA is to the Internet.

This also has me a little worried. What if PETA finds out about this board and claims the stuff we do here (quirks and all) to be cruelty to animals. You think that day will come?

PETA sometimes make me laugh so hard at how utterly stupid they are. I've played the Tanuki one; felt pretty sick afterwards but I played it. I actually had no idea that they made a Cooking Mama one (which is also just ridiculous), but that just sounds stupid.
I agree with everything being said here about the whole "Pokemon and trainers are synonymous" ordeal. It's clearly stated in the beginning of EVERY game by any Professor that they work alongside each other in a friendly manner, whether it be work or play. My friend and I were discussing it at lunch and we agreed that PETA completely over-reacted.
In Alfie's words, "Just go ask Professor insertreehere and they'll tell you all about the relationship between Pokemon and humans." (that's a direct quote, mind you. I was talking with her about it in History class today).
Of course though, this is the same organization that thinks having a pet is a hate crime. So don't take it too seriously, I suppose.
