**** math in general.
I'm retaking pre-calc because I got a D last semester, (I need a C for it to count towards my degree), but I got a 49/100 on my latest chapter exam, said exams taking up 50% of my overall grade. I can already see myself NOT getting a C...again. (My online homework and quiz grades tend to be around 80-100 but those only make up 10 individually along with take home quizzes).
If I do fail this class I don't care what anyone ******* thinks I'm not taking it again; it's not even ******* useful, important to WORKING at a Zoo, (as opposed to building ******* landmarks).
Whenever a grade isn't "perfect" or near avg compared to past, easier and more practical courses, everyone around me is like "you should do this, you Have, to do this". I don't HAVE to do ******* sh*t but they need to shut it cause if they're saying I have to do something they want me to do? they should ******* do it cause I am NOT them. Idiots trying to live through others cause they don't want to do it themselves or because they ****ing failed themselves. -.-
If I study I'll forget it anyway, so I plan on studying a tiny bit the day of instead, but obvioiualy those I rely on to get me to school love wasting time. And even then it doesn't matter cause it often seems like this teacher just...****s over most of her students.
Again, **** math!

Well, there are ways that math is needed, if you work at a Zoo. Knowing how much food is needed, or what an appropiate weight, for an animal is?
I can understand some Anger, though. How complex are the questions?

I know there are ways, but I'm talking PRE-CALCULUS, not f*cking algebra or elementary mathematics, genius.
They can get VERY complex. And with the high chance of failure in one's memory system, (humans clearly forget we are not F*CKING MACHINES or SUPERCOMPUTERS!), and also the "Trick questions" done on the actual exams while you are often only taught ONE problem or ONE process....it's f*cking impossible in the end, far as I see. -.-
In regards to math from Trig to above... give me a reason, to give a F*CK!

Here's a question? What IS the definition or demonstration of success?
Personally, I see it as having friends or folks I can trust and spend quality time with, alongside an Occupation I enjoy.
To everyone around me, it seems in order to be successful in the slightest, you need to go through a lot of ****ing bullsh*t first.
I just got my grade for the latest chapter exam in pre-calc, (2nd time I'm taking this course), fairly confident I'd get B or C. I actually ****ing tried on this one but **** NO! I get a D, and bear in mind the chapter exams are 50% of the overall grade. Last I checked my overall grade was about 79% but considering how this ****ing teacher LOVES being a ****ING **** and burying any ****ing bit of confidence, I won't be surprised if I fail again.
Why should I ****ing even try here when, in the cases that I do try on exams and take home quizzes or feel even a LITTLE bit confident, she just ****ing sh*tS all over it because I didn't give the answer or work EXACTLY how SHE would want it in EVERY ****ING DETAIL!
**** HER AND EVERY d**n COLLEGE MATH TEACHER!
Granted my grades in Microbiology and English Composition 2 are B or C but at least those classes are consistent and I expect B's or C's out of those AND get those exact grades.
****!

When it comes to success, No one evr said that getting to success was easy. Considering that; Universal stle the rights for Oswald from Walt Disney before he mde Mickey Mouse, Daniel Craig had to slep on a Park Bench before being worth Sixty-Five Million Dollars today, and Doctor Phil use to live in a Car before being a Well Knwn Psychiatrist. You are going to have to work through a lot of difficulties, before you can become successful.
I wonder, Did you show your workings out in the Exam? Maybe, that's what they wanted to see too?
You also ask the Teacher on what it is, she wants to see from you?

I think my mom and I are just gonna see if I can perhaps get a different math teacher. One that isn't such a perfectionist.

For those of you who were expecting me to get a laptop today, it'll actually be here by Wednesday since we ordered it, (and a wireless mouse and a mousepad), online yesterday from newegg.com

I just came back from my first "gathering" of furs from the county area. (I chose to attend as a chance to perhaps socialize.)
I'm not one to wear the fursuit but I figured other furs might be a good start.
Overall not bad but I likely won't attend the dining portion next time. Sadly I'm not the social type offline, (heck I usually don't know what to talk about with you guys without a prompt or activity going), and there were a LOT of people there, of which I knew none unless you count one guy who I Skyped with at times in the past month.
Hehe Apparently it was someone's birthday so some of the furs hugged him and did the traditional song, but then one of them pointed out there was no cake so one fur in a Wolf-like headpiece suggested "Let's eat him." XD

Oh man, I hear you on how difficult in can be to think of things to talk about in a social situation. :'D I'm super shy in real life, so in conversations with people I don't know well, I get really anxious and my mind goes blank! It sounds like you had a good time though, and even got out of your comfort zone a little bit, which is a great thing to do from time to time. ^^
If you're up to trying it next time, a piece of advice I've always heard for conversations is to ask the other person questions about themselves. What do you do for a living, what kind of TV shows do you watch, what are you studying in school, stuff like that. (Although, I don't recommend getting super personal and asking something like, I dunno, "How many times have you shaved in the past month?" or "So have you ever had a beloved pet DIE TRAGICALLY?" ...And uhhhhh I'm not speaking from experience, I promise! XD)
At a fur meet, I imagine you could ask questions like, how did you choose your fursona, where did you get your fursuit, how did you hear about this meetup, etc. People just love to talk about themselves, and once you find out what they're interested in or something you both have in common, questions can snowball from there. =) Or you can dash off and hide under a table for a few minutes to give yourself a break from socializing, whatever you need! ...Or maybe that's just me. XD
...Ahhh, to be honest, though, I usually go out of my way to avoid social situations if I can help it, so I'm probably not the right one to be giving advice. X'D Anyway, glad you enjoyed yourself! Who knows, maybe this will lead to some good friendships for you. =) They definitely sound like a fun group - the joke about eating the birthday boy because there was no cake made me chuckle. XD

Edit: I would like someone to reply to this please
I just finished watching my DVD of the Phantom of the Opera performance at Albert Hall, (the 25th anniversary), and I'll agree with the masses..the play is FAR better than the film by Joel Schumacher, (film is okay but the play is AMAZING), and considering how deformed Erik, the Phantom, in the play is, part of me wants to edit Katrina so that her deformity will perhaps be by birth and more than a simple burn mark.
The only idea in my head is, (and I'm not sure what deformities are possible for a canine), to say the least...perhaps an empty eye socket if not a horribly altered one whereas the mask she wears perhaps, after some alterations to it...can make it appear like she has two normal pretty eyes...oh and of course that covered half of her face may be ruptured like the play's Erik.
Any thoughts on this or ideas and suggestions of other facial deformities that could be caused by birth?
Also...now that I have technically seen the play, Phantom of the Opera is officially my favorite non-Disney musical. I admittedly only liked Sweeney Todd in hindsight more for its music, and the pessimistic personality of the titular character.

Well, You could suggest that, she comes from a bad breedr, and that's what cause her issues. For her look, I guess you can look up Images of Canine Defrmities too, or at leas, Ugl Canines.
Would she have his violnt tendencies, though?

I checked for images and nothing good enough Violent tendencies? No. She's more on innocent than guilty.
I might go for the breeder idea perhaps. Maybe so horrid she was kicked to the curb...maybe even literall...by the breeder.
She'll still be a marvelous singer imo and will obviously still be with Vlad.
I just figured since the deformity I went through was...nothing big, I'd change it.

Figured I'd mention this since I know Trey will like it.
I went to Hersheypark on Saturday as part of a discount college event, (the park was open only for the college and its campuses), and in its bigger arcade I found, aside from a lot of old Arcade games, DRAGON'S LAIR. I played it a little but only through one portion without dying. I didn't spend all my money on it but I tried anyway and didn't know what I was doing.

**** my mom.
She's trying to control me.
I try to socialize, one-on-one, (or with very few people at a time for a little game session at someone else's house in this case), and within 1 1/2 weeks of it occurring, she expresses her "concern" about not trusting one of the two people I'll be with, even though I f*cked up and told her his secret, (NOT saying wtf it is so don't bother asking), and have spent time with him at furmeets and with time with the other guy, (Both at furmeets and at the movies and my home).
Heck she even met the one guy, (the one that will be taking me to and from the other friend's place), but no, apparently that doesn't f*cking matter. -.-
In fact, she got me in such a downer mood, (frustration obviously), that I was tempted to go over this one Vault-Boy image I drew, (of Lupus as Vault Boy), except have him mimic the expression of the frustrated/disappointed Vault boy rather than the smiley one. (Not sure if I would've submitted it had I gone through with the idea).

So last Thursday at college I saw a paper mentioning Hershey was offering "paid internships", (it might as well be part-time jobs), to college students for the summer at least in retail or security for Hersheypark.
It says I have to be able to work between 10AM and midnight, (in summer the amusement park closes at 11 at the latest but only on Saturdays and August Friday's), but since it's seasonal or part time and I just need to work a minimum of 4 shifts a week I might be able to work from say 10-6 or 11-7 or just noon to 7 depending on how many hours are expected exactly. The pay is only $7.75 which is 50cents above minimum wage but I don't care for the pay except in one regard which I will mention later.
I haven't done the application yet since I'm waiting til Saturday to tell my mom about a proposal a local fur, (that she will interact with that evening), and I came up with...just to be sure she's hopefully okay with the idea.
The fur, who is in her 20s, will offer to drive me to and from Hershey so long as I work no later than 8 or 7 to be safe so she has time to drive me home and then to her night security job an hour from here. (Hershey is an hour from here too btw.) I also have to pay her $20 max a week for gas money which should be easy if I get the job AND if I'm paid weekly.
Thing is I've applied to 8 places in walking distance and only go so far as 2 interviews, not sure how well that means for me but I would really like to work for Hershey especially since my goal in the end is to work at their zoo.
