True, and whilst Disney place him with Dottie, Mizan likes to pair him with Rebecca. With the "Depending on Writer", that's how I explain Pairings, like Alt Worlds.
Although, I admit that I like Dipstick & Wizzer in Mooch's Gang. Wonder how Dipstick & Wizzer got into the Gang, in the first place? O.O

I theorize they might have just met up with him the day the dals moved to the farm and decided he was cool enough to hang out with. x3 ooor more likely Mooch picked THEM out and asked them to do stuff and they just kind of stuck with him.

I actually do have a Theory on why Mooch hangs with Dipstick & Wizzer.
In; "Bad To The Bone", Mooch expresses be concerns on looking cool. Except, he hangs out with a Pup with bladder issues and a somewhat dimwit with fleas. So, by associating with him, it makes Mooch look better by comparison.
I think I had another theory that, since Wizzer & Dipstick are somewhat outcasts, due to the reasons that I state above, so join Mooch because of that.
Seem reasonable?

That's a good theory, but if that was the case, then wouldn't technically ANY pup want to join Mooch's gang? Pretty much every pup is an outcast in some way, right?

Not every pup is, Belchic. @bab: If I can play off of your first idea. The Dearly's just moved in, of course as we saw from the first episode they didn't know anyone there and vice versa. Dipstick and Wizzer then discover Mooch, thinking he's cool they want to be friends/hang out with him. At first Mooch says no, but when he finds out how 'flawed' the 2 pups are to him in comparison, he eventually lets them join him. Since like you said, Mooch would look better in comparison to them

Not every pup is, Belchic. How so? Pretty much every pup is an outcast in some way: Wizzer has a bladder problem Dipstick has fleas Two-Tone has a black rear end Rolly is fat Cadpig is tiny Fidget is hyper Patch is huge Tripod has a missing leg Duke is girly Lucky and Jewel are the only pups I can think of who are normal.

That is exactly what I mean, Nemo! ;3
Those aren't really things that make them outcasts though.
What I mean is that no Pup would feel comfortable with being near the Two. Dipstick for his fleas and Wizzer in fret they'll be soaked.
Being Big, Small or how your fur is doesn't deter others, and Tri-Pod makes up for his missing leg by being the most athletic Pup around
See what I mean?

I kinda think they stick together because all of them are outcasted in some way. I think Two-Tone, Wizzer and Dipstick are obvious but maybe Mooch hangs out with them because no one else likes him or he's kinda the only non-dalmatian dog besides the Colonel?

One thing that does add to Dipstick's popularity is his voice (Thom Adcox Hernandez) whom was also the voice of Lexington from Gargoyles, I always pictured adult Dipstick sounding more like Lexington.

Yeah, I like Dipstick for his Personality too! ;3 He always does bring amusement whenever he is on screen.
Although, did his voice sound different to you in;'"Dog Food Day Afternoon"?

I noticed that to, he's muffled with the food but I would not be surprised if that was a different VA.

I got the book; “Meet The Puppies” today, which gives brief descriptions of the Dalmatian Pups from the ‘Live Action’ “101 Dalmatians”. =3
According to the book, Dipstick is the ‘Live Action’ Movie equivalent to Rolly. And I quote; “This is Dipstick. He loves to eat. He whines for supper. He begs for a treat!”
That somewhat explains why Dipstick’s the one to tell Rolly; “Let’s just eat” in “Dog Food Day Afternoon”, doesn’t it?
