Alright, so there exist Three-Man Bands (or Power Trios), Four-Man Bands, and Five-Man Bands. Well, I've decided to start a new one called..."The Six-Man Band". This does not exist on TV Tropes; I just invented it right now. I decided to do this because a lot of us seem to have Five Man Bands in our rosters of characters, but some people feel that they have to have a Sixth Ranger too. Well, you can't call it a Five-Man Band if there are six, so that's why I decided to make this.
Now, in the Six-Man Band, the titles of the characters are much different from the Five- and Four-Man Bands. I will list them below and explain what each one means:
The Intellectual: The smartest member of the team.
The Shy: The most timid and anti-social member of the team.
The Down-To-Earth: The member of the team with the most common sense.
The Competitive: I guess sort of the tomboy of the group who's always willing to achieve stuff no matter what it takes.
The Looney: The silliest, goofiest, funniest, and most random member of the team.
The Materialist: the most envious member of the team.
To give a pop culture example, the main 6 ponies make up a perfect Six-Man Band:
The Intellectual - Twilight Sparkle
The Shy - Fluttershy
The Down-To-Earth - Applejack
The Competitive - Rainbow Dash
The Looney - Pinkie Pie
The Materialist - Rarity
Now, to give an example, here's my Five Pup Band transformed into a Six Pup Band:
The Intellectual - Noggin
The Shy - Joey
The Down-To-Earth - Tippy
The Competitive - Belchic
The Looney - Lizzie
The Materialist - Veronica
I look forward to seeing how other people's pups would work into this. If you need a reminder on your Five Pup Bands, they could be found here:
