This topic is to discuss all three of the HubToons as a whole. I'm talking about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Pound Puppies and Littlest Pet Shop. I don't know if I should count the other animated shows like Transformers Prime, Dan Vs., SheZow, or the Strawberry Shortcake or Care Bears shows. I guess those main three I listed are the ones DHX Media is responsible for. So let's start off by asking...Of those three shows, which ones are you a fan of. As far as I know, RaceFanX, Two-Tone, Stirfry, and myself are the only people on this board who love all three of them. I know Trey_Vore doesn't like Pound Puppies, and babclayman doesn't like LPS. I know just about everyone hear loves MLP (maybe some don't, but a majority do). Anyone else have any feedback?

I'm certainly a fan of MLP:FIM obviously, and while I have seen a few of the first episodes of LPS, I wouldn't consider myself a fan of it. As for PP, I haven't watched any full episodes, nor count myself a fan of it obviously. (Though personally, despite how Hub uses all 3 shows in their ads, I kinda feel I'd rather watch LPS than PP, I GUESS).

Belchic was once curious about why I was watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Transformers Prime and Littlest Pet Shop but not Pound Puppies.
In retrospect I may have had some passing knowledge of Pound Puppies along with the rest but something was mentally blocking me from watching it.
Like a game on Sesame Street, I'm going to say, "One of these shows is not like the others", and the answer is not as obvious as it might seem.

No offense, Trey, but your reasons for not liking Pound Puppies are still quite unclear, mysterious and questionable. All you've been saying is "Something is not right." Would it be too much to ask what exactly is it that is not right with you?

Well, I feel like bringing this topic up, and I feel this would be the best topic to share this.
Well, yesterday, RaceFanX announced that the Hub Network will be gone soon. By the end of the year, it will be relaunched as Discovery Family. This has me a bit sad since the Hub was a really good station, and it's not even half a decade old yet!
Though, I could be somewhat relieved knowing that Hasbro will have the rights to a 6-hour block on that channel, so I'm guessing they'll probably transfer over to that block all the Hub's highest-rated programs. Oh, heck, what do I know about ratings? The Hub hardly had any!
The Hub's highest-rated show has always been My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but most people just watch it on YouTube. That's probably why the station didn't do so well, because hardly anybody gets the Hub, so they can't watch any of the network's other programming like Transformers Prime, Pound Puppies, Family Game Night, SheZow, Littlest Pet Shop, Aquabats, Kid President, Goosebumps, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Alf, Family Ties, Fraggle Rock if you really want to be old school, and even the now-defunct Dan Vs.
Even for the people who did get the Hub, pretty much the only show that they ever watched was My Little Pony, and sadly, all the rest of the Hub's shows never really gained a cult following. Pound Puppies did for a little while, but it was quickly forgotten about before the third season even started. Transformers Prime looked like it had potential, but nobody ever talks about the show (Trey_Vore is the only person I know who watched it). Littlest Pet Shop looks like it's trying, but I don't know, since it has gotten mixed reviews. So it kind of sucks that they had to cut the HubToons so short, but maybe it's for the best. Unlike the Disney Afternoon, the Nicktoons and the Cartoon Cartoons, which all had more than one memorable series, the HubToons only had one...and that one is trying to make another one (Equestria Girls)!
So yeah, overall, those are my thoughts on the cancelation of the Hub. I welcome all feedback. I admit I may not be right on this, but those are just my guesses.

Honestly, I would've Watched Animaniacs...if it wasn't as early as nine in the morning bcuz I usually end up waking at around 10 am on my own at times.

I wonder how Race or anyone else would say about my theory. I may be very inaccurate, but...

I really don't see why we need this thread when we have active threads on the other three shows already. And I still you think you make way too many assumptions. Just because a show isn't a "cult" hit doesn't mean it's not a success especially when going with shows toward a younger audience.
Transformers: Prime did very well but ran its course. It didn't so much get cancelled as had to end to clear room for the live-action movie Transformers: Age of Extinction.

I created this thread because I like to talk about all three of the shows at once sometimes, and I don't really like to bring that conversation into a thread for a single show, otherwise people will argue about me going off-topic.

Um.. I disagree wholeheartedly with you on the "Hub only having one hit series"
I loved Dan Vs, it has a small but loyal following on dA and we've patiently been awaiting the return of our show for some time now.

Well, just because you loved the show doesn't necessarily mean it was a hit. That doesn't mean it wasn't a hit either. There are plenty of shows that have small, loyal fanbases despite their lack of popularity like Project: G.K.R.. Heck, this whole forum is dedicated to a series that has it's share of loyal fans! But I digress.

I don't think it wasn't popular.

This is taken from TV Tropes:
In September 2014, it was announced that Hasbro would end its partnership with Discovery Communications, which means they would be handed the network back, planning to rename it Discovery Family, a network aimed at both kids and their parents. Regardless, Hasbro will still have some influence on the network, having control of six hours of programming in the morning and afternoon from 9 AM to 3 PM.
That's still kind of a problem. Aren't kids necessarily in school during those hours?
