If I'm correct, wasn't one of the founders/heads of Pixar also later on the head of Apple?

You mean Steve Jobs? I think he had some kind of involvement with Pixar, but I don't think he was the founder.

He was a key player to say the least, (and he was a co-founder of Pixar).

What I hear is, George Lucas has a CGI Team (I think the sme ones that do Jurrasic Park), but Lucas sld it to Steve Jobs (some suspect, cause of the bmb of Howard The Duck), and it ws then Steve Jobs, who trn the CGI Team in to Pixar.
Steve Jobs also ws one of Pixar's Financers. But, with Pixar being part of Disney, Steve Jobs has the highst number of Shares in Disney (Seven Percent) with his Fifty Percent of Shares on Pixar. He ws Pixar's Cheif Executive and ws one of Disney's Board of Directors...
Random History lesson there. ^^"
I do wonder though, considering Good Dinosaur has a year to work on it more, like Hme did, You think Pixar may be able to do bettr with tht Extr Year, than Dreamworks has, Pups? ;3

Well, I just saw a teaser trailer for the Peanuts movie. The animation does look quite unique compared to today's standards, and it also seems to capture the classic Peanuts humor. So this might be a good rental unless I hear tons of amazing rave reviews, which I doubt will happen.

So I happened to see a trailer for the Minions movie on tv last night. Apparently, the minions are going to do my disguise quirk in this movie. I had a feeling they were going to eventually. Still, I'm not interested in seeing the movie. I don't like the minions as much as I like Gru and the girls.

We have a Trailer for; Good Dinosaur, Pups! ;3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1nfAxkpx9MWhat I wonder is, they do claim it's set in an Altrnte Universe, so is it set in what may be this year, or when Humans shw, in the Norml Time Line? I also wonder, the Dinosaur Designs look a bit...too...weird like, but shall the Dinosaurs talk in this one, or jst their; 'RAWR!' type noises, with the Humans having Vocal, like in; Wall.E? What you think, Pups? ;3

Animat gives Inside Out a 10 out of 10, his only issue I recall perhaps being how Joy, unlike the other emotions, isn't quite as cartoony.
I just saw it around an hour ago and frankly I enjoyed it. Many if not several moments I thought of my own life, (the shock and discomfort of moving from a home you enjoy to one that may not be as great, (my new one certainly wasn't), to having a breakdown all that you lost, and of course...perhaps as a result of this comfort and other factors...developing an 'attitude'.. Frankly, while I know this was merely an artistic, entertaining, interpretation of one's emotions, each mind the film delved into had a bit of a theme to it, so it makes me wonder what themes inside my mind and those of others may be.

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen him give anything a perfect 10!
I'm hearing amazing things about Inside Out, and I plan to go see it this weekend.

I just got back from seeing Inside-Out. It's definitely the best Pixar has done a long time. It's a must see!

I was just one Rotten Tomatoes and I saw what the critics are saying about Minions.
Right now it's at a 75%, about the same as Despicable Me 2. Looks like we have another movie worthy of the franchise's title!

Something tells me after Despicable Me 3, they're going to stop making DM movies and just continue to make Minions spin-offs kinda like what Disney did with the Buddies movies and the Tinker Bell movies.

So far, it looks like Inside Out, Minions, and the SpongeBob movie are the possible three candidates for Best Animated Feature. I know how the Oscars roll: they always pick 3 international releases and 2 foreign films for this category. Hopefully, one of the upcoming films will knock off SpongeBob. I doubt it'll be HT2 or Peanuts, and definitely not EG, but Good Dinosaur might have a shot.

That sounds about right.
Though depending on the second film's quality Pixar is more or less going to have a win/lose year. SpongeBob is a sequel to a movie and it's about a cartoon series and Minions is a spin-off, so they probably won't win and chances are they won't nominate two Pixar movies unless they were hurting for candidates.

Just because a movie is a spinoff or a sequel doesn't mean it will not be nominated. Look at Toy Story 3; that won the Oscar, and it was even nominated for Best Picture!
Let's look at the other candidates just for fun...
Strange Magic sucked. SpongeBob got amazing reviews. Home was well-promoted but didn't do so well. Underdogs hasn't even been released here yet. B.O.O. surprisingly hasn't been released or even advertised yet!
I still got my money on Inside Out at the moment.
