Here is my first trade fanfic. Trey_Vore did a drawing for me in late July, so here is what I did for him in return. He did not specify what he wanted me to write about, so I wrote at my own will. I did my best to make this a story he would appreciate. Keep in mind, I am using other people's OC's in this fanfic, so please try not to get mad if I butchered any of them:
---------------------------------------------------
"Joey's Foxy Rescue
Roxy was a cute little Vixen who lived on Dearly Farm. She loved hanging out with Pongo and Perdita's Dalmatian puppies. Even though she wasn't exactly a canine, all the pups loved her and considered her an honorary pup.
One sunny day, it seemed like any other normal day for Roxy. She was laying on the grass enjoying the sun. At that moment, she got a greeting from one of the Dalmatians of the farm. This was a male pup, fairly small, black ears and a blue collar. His name was Joey. Roxy turned her head and noticed him.
"Hi Joey," she said. "What's up?"
"Nothing much," said Joey. "I was just walking by and saw you and thought maybe I'd stop and talk with you."
"Sure. I haven't really talked with you since that day we had that experience at Mt. Grutely," said Roxy.
"I'd rather not talk about that," said Joey as she started to gently pet Roxy's head. "That was a very frustrating adventure for me."
"I understand," said Roxy. "Those Heartbreakers are a real pain."
Seeing Roxy laying down on her back, Joey noticed that her stomach was fully-exposed. He decided to start rubbing it. Roxy should enjoy this, since hardly any member of the dog family dislikes getting their tummy rubbed. "How does this feel, Roxy?" he asked the vulpine.
Roxy giggled, "It kinda tickles. I am enjoying it very much so. Thank you."
Joey started to get the impression that this was a sign of closer friendship between him and Roxy. "While I don't think your stomach is quite as fuzzy as your back or head," said Joey. "Though what would you say to me laying my head on it and using it as a pillow?"
Roxy blinked. The thought alone sounded very unusual to her. "I don't think I want to go there just yet, Joey," she said. "You and I are not quite friends yet. Maybe I'll consider it later on."
At that moment, Roxy rolled over and got up on her legs with a stretch. "I wonder what Lucky and his friends are doing right now," she said.
"Most likely watching Thunderbolt," said Joey. "Though it's probably going off in a few minutes." He then saw Belchic and Tippy walking into the barn. "Oh, but I just remembered! Lately, Belchic, Tippy and I have been watching reruns of Pokemon on TV. It comes on after Thunderbolt. Would you like to join us in watching that, Roxy?"
"Well, even though I'm more of an 80's nut, Pokemon is something I enjoyed too," answered Roxy. "Which saga are you watching?"
"The Indigo League," Joey responded.
"Ah, yes. That was the best one!" said Roxy. "Sure, I'll join you guys for it."
Seeing Roxy standing up on all fours made Joey think of something. He walked up closer to Roxy. "If you don't mind, Roxy," Joey started to say, but he grew nervous about how she was going to respond; his heart was pounding, and he began to sweat, but finally, he followed up with his question: "Do you think this would be a good time for you to maybe...piggyback me?"
Roxy sweat-dropped over Joey's request. She tried to think up an excuse not to do it, but then she remembered Joey was autistic and was afraid to find out how he'd respond if she said "no". She reluctantly answered, "Okay, Joey, but take it easy."
Joey wagged and carefully climbed onto Roxy's back. Normally, if any pup were to mount Roxy, she wouldn't hold up so well, but since Joey was really light, she managed to support him with ease, and being on all fours (rather than on her hind legs) made it even easier for her.
Roxy started walking towards the barn. She strangely started having flashbacks to when she carried Star like this.
"Thanks for the ride, Roxy," Joey said to the vixen petting her head. "I always thought it would be cute if there was an episode of Pokemon where Vulpix gave Pikachu a ride on her back just like how you're giving me one. Speaking of which, that's the episode we are going to watch today: the one where Brock catches Vulpix."
"Oh, I love that episode!" smiled Roxy. She then stopped before entering the barn. "Is Belchic in there?" she asked Joey.
"Yeah, why?" Joey responded.
"I'm a little nervous about him," said Roxy. "I know he has a thing for piggyback rides. If he sees me carrying you, do you think he'll try to ride me? I hope not, because he'll crush me for sure!"
"Don't worry about it," said Joey. "Belchic is totally aware of his weight. He only gets rides from pups he knows can support him like Tippy and Two-Tone."
Roxy gulped, "Okay then." She preceded into the barn with Joey still on her back.
Gathered around the TV was a variety of pups. There was Lucky, Cadpig, Rolly, Two-Tone, Belchic, Tippy, Lizzie and Clayton.
"Hi, guys!" Joey called.
The pups all turned around and were happy to see Joey.
"Joey, you made it," cheered Belchic.
"I see that you also brought along a friend," Tippy smiled.
Clayton was amazed to see Roxy carrying Joey on her back. This is not something she had been known to do. Though he chose not to say anything this time.
Joey got off of Roxy, and they all gathered around the TV to watch the Pokemon episode together.
Little did the pups know, someone was spying on them through a window. It was Diana, the leader of the Heartbreakers. Of course, she wouldn't have been permitted to get up that high from just the ground alone, so naturally, a couple other pups were helping her. Diana was sitting on the shoulders of her best friend, Emma, and underneath Emma holding the ground was the Heartbreakers' muscle pup, Stealth.
"Okay, girls," said Diana. "It looks like this episode they are watching is wrapping up, so let's put on our disguise."
Staying in their totem pole position, Stealth picked up a trench coat, hat and mustache that was laying next to them on the ground and handed them up to Emma. Emma handed them up to Diana who put them on.
"I think this disguise is perfect for my plan against those pups," said Diana.
"Hehe, this is exciting," said Emma.
"Are you sure this will work, Diana?" Stealth asked. "Most pups on this farm aren't easily fooled by this act."
"This is only meant to be a diversion, Stealth," said Diana. "I think I have this whole thing planned out perfectly."
Stealth decided to just take Diana's word for it, and with their disguise all done up, Stealth slowly walked inside the barn up to the pups.
"Ahem, excuse me," Diana said in a disguised voice.
The pups all turned around and noticed the tall pup.
"Who are you?" Lucky asked.
"I am Mr. Tenant," said Diana. "I travel from place to place to survey domestic dogs."
Clayton was not buying this. He knew this was clearly three pups piled on top of each other in a trench coat, and when he sees this, he already has a suspicion who is behind this. "Okay, Belchic, the jig is up!" Clayton said to Belchic. "Who are the pups underneath the coat?"
"Don't look at me," said Belchic. "I have nothing to do with this."
"Don't play dumb with us, Belchic! We all know anything involving pups in trench coats is your doing, so can it and spill the beans!" Clayton barked.
"Hehehe. They think Belchic is behind this!" Emma whispered out of the pups' hearing.
"I'm telling you, I'm not the pup behind this!" said Belchic.
"I am sensing you are jumping to conclusions here, Clayton," said Cadpig.
"Guys, stop!" Lucky interjected. He then turned to the disguised Heartbreakers. "Who are you really?"
Diana smirked. "Actually, the fat pup with the purple collar is right. He is not behind this at all. And I am not really this tall dog you see."
Stealth began to feel anxious listening to Diana's words. Her muscles tightened. She was ready to fight.
Diana then said, "Here is my true identity..." With that said, she threw off the whole disguise revealing the three pups underneath it.
The hero pups all gasped.
"The Heartbreakers! I should have known!" said Lucky.
"What do you all want here?" asked Two-Tone.
"We're here to take you all as ours!" Diana smiled.
Stealth quickly broke away from the totem and knocked out all the pups before they had a chance to react! Then she jumped onto Roxy pinning her down. Stealth was much heavier than Joey, so needless to say, Roxy was unable to move.
Diana walked up to the struggling Vixen. "Stealth, please get off her, but still hold her in place."
Stealth did as instructed. She placed her hind paw on Roxy's tail and clenched her front paws so she wouldn't escape.
"Now that I have you in my possession, my dear little fox, I have an important favor to ask of you," said Diana to Roxy.
Roxy whimpered.
The other pups all woke up only to realize they were behind a boundary that was built up by Emma. They were separated from Roxy and couldn't get over the wall easily. However, they could tell something was going on with Roxy and the Heartbreakers.
On the other side, Diana was staring into Roxy's eyes. "Look into my eyes and pay attention. You are no longer Roxy the fox."
"Oh no! She's not going to make her think she's a chicken, is she?" groaned Belchic. "That's so cliche. Why do hypnotizers always turn their victims into chickens?"
Lucky, Rolly and Cadpig were relieved Spot wasn't with them. Otherwise, she'd get offended.
Clayton hushed Belchic so he could listen.
"You are my slave," said Diana to Roxy. "Your name is Reck. You thirst for blood."
Using her strong hearing, Cadpig could hear every word that Diana was saying. "She's trying to turn Roxy evil again!" she said in a hushed whisper. "We've got to do something."
Being the brilliant thinker, Lucky said, "The only way for us to get over this wall is by doing Code 2-5-3-8."
Joey knew exactly what Lucky meant, so he volunteered, "I'll do it. I know just how too. Clayton, Two-Tone, you guys boost me over."
"Wait, why?" Clayton asked.
"No time to explain," said Joey. "Just do it!"
Two-Tone didn't want Clayton to delay this plan, so she just scooped Clayton onto her shoulders and positioned them so Joey could use them as a ladder to climb over the wall.
Joey quickly climbed up Two-Tone, and up Clayton until he was on his shoulders, and he sprung off him to make an ambush on Diana. He landed on Diana's shoulders locking his hind legs around her neck, and covering her eyes with his front paws.
"Hey! What's going on?" Diana freaked. She walked around aimlessly trying to shake Joey off of her, but Joey held on tightly. "Stealth! Get this little dweeb off me!"
Stealth let go of Roxy and started running towards Joey.
Thinking quickly, Lucky assembled Rolly and Cadpig to do the same ladder technique to ambush on Stealth. Unfortunately, he was no match for her. Within seconds, Stealth threw Lucky off, then she went for Joey tackling him off Diana.
The other pups knew they had to get in there and help their friends.
Tippy positioned herself at the barrier wall allowing the other pups to use her as a step ladder. Rolly, Cadpig, Clayton and Two-Tone one by one climbed Tippy over the wall. Belchic came up with an idea to get both him and Tippy over the wall. He found one of those ropes that mountain climbers used. He buckled one end around Tippy's stomach, and the other end didn't quite wrap around his gut, so he attached it to his collar. Belchic then climbed onto Tippy's shoulders and jumped over the wall. When he hit the floor, the rope hauled Tippy over the wall. Thankfully, Belchic was heavy enough to produce enough mass and force to get Tippy over the wall.
Everyone got into a massive dog fight. However, most of the pups were no match for Stealth and her aggressive actions. Even Tippy was outmatched by her.
One pup who did manage to gain advantage over Stealth was Cadpig. Stealth tried to fight her, but just couldn't get a grip on her. She was bouncing around swiftly and using her metaphors to taunt her.
Stealth growled frustratedly, "You must be Nemo's twin sister!"
"Actually, we're not related," said Cadpig. "It's just a total coincidence how similar we are."
Lucky thought this would be a perfect time to take out Stealth now that Cadpig had her distracted. Fortunately, he knew her weakness.
Cadpig was now standing on Stealth's head. She continued to mock her by bouncing and blowing raspberries. Stealth furiously tried to grab Cadpig, but this gave Lucky the opportunity to slip underneath Stealth and knock her in the groin. Stealth was in so much pain she became paralyzed.
Watching the scene, Emma said to Diana, "I hate to say this, but I think it's time we retreat."
"When you're right, you're right," responded Diana. "They clearly have us outnumbered, and with Stealth temporarily impaired, they could gain an advantage."
Diana and Emma walked up to Stealth.
"Do you surrender?" Belchic asked the evil pups.
Diana huffed, "You pups may have won this round, but I assure you, we will be back...and in greater numbers, and next time, we will not lose!"
Diana and Emma both picked up an end of Stealth and carried her out. Emma grunted, "Usually, she's the one carrying us!"
Once the Heartbreakers left, the pups gathered around Roxy. She looked weak. They hoped she was okay.
"Roxy? Are you okay, Roxy?" Lucky asked.
Roxy slowly opened her eyes and looked up to the pups. "W-what happened? Is Diana gone?" she asked.
"Everything is going to be ok, Roxy," said Belchic.
"We took care of the Heartbreakers," said Two-Tone. "They're gone."
"Thank you, guys," smiled Roxy. "Though I must ask...Who is the VIP of this group?"
Clayton looked around and said, "That would have to be Joey. He's the one who made the first move to try to save you."
"Me?" Joey gasped.
The other pups nodded in agreement.
Roxy turned her attention to Joey. "You...you saved my life, Joey!" Roxy said happily.
Joey blushed, "It was nothing, really."
"You don't understand," said Roxy. "If it weren't for you, I probably would have become a slave for Diana."
"She is right, you know, Joey," said Lucky.
Joey wondered if Roxy was going to do something for him as a way of thanking him. Surely a rescue like this was worthy of some kind of reward. He asked the vixen, "So does this mean anything?"
"It does, Joey," said Roxy. "Seeing the amount of courage and determination you had to do this for me, I have decided to officially consider you my friend. With that said, I'm now going to allow you to pet me and cuddle with me whenever you want."
Joey smiled and got teary-eyed. "Thank you, Roxy," he sniffed. "Does this mean you'll let me piggyback on you too?"
Clayton facepawed.
Roxy thought about it for a couple seconds, then she finally answered, "Well...yeah...but only in moderation."
"Okay, Roxy. I'll make sure to ask you first," said Joey.
"I'm glad we settled on a compromise," said Roxy with a smile. "Come here. Give me a hug!"
Joey ran up to Roxy, and the two of them wrapped their arms across each other. Joey wagged his tail as he gently moved his paw up and down Roxy's fuzzy coat. Roxy giggled quietly.
After they released each other, Roxy said, "One more thing, Joey. This is something I do with all pups who I officially consider my friend. I guess you can consider it my seal of approval."
"What is it?" Joey asked curiously.
Roxy wrapped an arm around Joey, and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
Overwhelmed, Joey wagged and panted like crazy.
The other pups applauded.

I hope Trey enjoys it. I know when I tend to write fanfics that involve battles against a villain, they tend to get a lot of bad reviews. I mean, we all know what kinds of reputations came off of "It Ends Now!" and "Stealth's Lament", but hopefully this fic is an improvement over those two.
