This idea for an rp was something I discussed with Lupus some time ago through pm's, and I have been thinking about it since then. It's another game show rp. This time, it's Chain Reaction, the word game where teams guess words that link to other words in ways such as compound words and two-word phrases or titles. All I need for this rp to go is two more people to join. I'll provide more details about this rp later.

Okay, here's more detail on the game show for this rp.
The game will be played by two teams, and each team will have two members, just like in the USA/Global version and the current Mike Catherwood-hosted GSN version. The game will not be played in a battle of the sexes like in the previous Dylan Lane-hosted GSN version, so each team can have their members in whichever genders they want.
There are also a couple of new changes I am making for this version, and they both apply to the main game. The main game will be the same as that in both GSN versions. The first change I'm making to it is that in the first three rounds each, a team who sweeps the chain--in other words, correctly guess all five words in the chain without the other team guessing a single word correctly in that chain--scores a bonus whose value is equal to that of a single correct answer in that chain. Each correct answer will be worth $100 in round one, $200 in round two, and $300 in round three, meaning that sweeping the chain is worth $100 in round one, $200 in round two, and $300 in round three. The second change I'm making here ties in with the first one, and this change applies to round four, which is the gambling round. In that round, teams have to decide to wager $100, $200, $300, $400, or $500 of their scores before deciding where in the chain they want to see a letter, and they either get their wager added to their score for a correct guess or get their wager deducted from their score for an incorrect guess. The change I'm making for this round is that if a team sweeps the chain in that round, their wager on the last word remaining will be doubled and added to their score.
The bonus rounds in the original NBC version and both GSN versions have a time limit, and I don't know how to get around a bonus round like those in an rp, so the bonus round that will be used in this rp is the one used in the USA/Global version. In that bonus round, the winning team is shown a chain with only the top word revealed and the first letter of each of the six remaining words below revealed, as well. Each time the team guesses a word correctly, they move on down to the next word in the chain. But each time the team guesses a word incorrectly, an extra letter is revealed in that word. The team has an account that keeps track of how many extra letters they have left. If the team completes the chain, they win the bonus round. But if the team runs out of extra letters and is still not able to complete the chain, they lose the bonus round. For this version, the winning team will start with seven extra letters in their account, and they will receive either an additional $5,000 for a bonus round win or an additional $100 for every correct answer given for a bonus round loss.
I will play as Jade and Slide in this rp. I will have Jade be the host and Slide be the announcer.
So, I hope that's enough detail for you. Who would like to join?

Okay, now that the party crashers rp is over, I'm bringing this rp discussion back up.

I'm still confused, even though I binged on "Game Show Corner" and read all this... XD
I'm sorry, I don't watch many game shows! DX

Okay, I'll explain the basic rules of the game to make things easier.
Each round in the main game has a chain of seven words, with the first word and the last word revealed, and two teams have to guess the five words inbetween. The words in a chain link to other words in ways such as compound words and two-word phrases or titles. Each round has a chain like this one:
* DUMB * * * * * * COASTER
In this example, teams would have to connect the word DUMB with the word COASTER. The team in turn has to decide whether they want to see a letter above or below a word that is already revealed in that chain, and a letter in that space is revealed, unless there's only one letter left in that space. Let's say that a team is asked to see a letter below DUMB or a letter above COASTER, and that team chose to see a letter above COASTER.
* DUMB * * * * * R * COASTER
A letter R will appear right above COASTER. Then, the team has to guess what that word is that links to COASTER.
* DUMB * * * * * ROLLER * COASTER
The correct word in that space in the chain would be ROLLER for ROLLER COASTER, a ride in amusement parks. If the team guesses the word correctly, they score, and they keep their turn. But if the team guesses the word incorrectly, they lose their turn, and the other team takes their turn. Here's the rest of the chain:
* DUMB * BLONDE * HAIR * DRYER * LINT * ROLLER * COASTER
This is the chain in its completion. First is DUMB BLONDE, which is a stereotype of blond-haired people, especially women, being less intelligent than people with hair in darker color; next is BLONDE HAIR, which is hair in a light color, particularly yellowish; next is HAIR DRYER, which is also called a blow dryer and used to blow dry one's hair; next is DRYER LINT, which is lint extracted from clothes being dried in a drying machine; next is LINT ROLLER, which is used to remove lint from clothes, upholstery, and linen; and finally, ROLLER COASTER, which, like I said, is a ride in amusement parks.
I hope this is enough to help you understand the game, DJ RJ. If it's still not enough, I can try explaining more of it.
