I’m actually surprised there wasn’t already a thread for this show, so I’m making one myself. This show is currently my obsession and I just love it.
The show is produced by a French animation company that takes place in Paris. It is a show about two superheros, Ladybug and Chat Noir (Black Cat in English, but for whatever reason the English dub calls him CAT Noir.) saving the city from the effects of the evil villian Hawkmoth. But more on him in a moment.
Ladybug is really Marinette, a normal high schooler with an enormous crush on her classmate, Adrien. Adrien, low and behold, is also Chat Noir, and has a huge crush on Ladybug. But neither of them knows the other is who they are and this dymanic leads to some very interest shipping among fans.
And Hawkmoth? His evil power is turning normal people into villians when negative emotions hit them. Very creative, if not a little simplified for a kids show.
Anyone here watched this? Or want to watch?

I haven't got to watch it, but I did notice a Music Video of it and watched it that way.
One of the villains was a Vixen girl under the control of Hawkmoth as he's called, the song was from Wander over Yonder called. "I'm the bad guy." and it had her singing it to Ladybug and Chat Noir.

Interesting. I haven’t seen that video you mention, but I know the fox-villian.

I haven't even heard of it, and given that it's French, I wouldn't expect it to be great. French cartoons tend to be... cheesy... go figure. =P But seeing that video it looks somewhat interesting. And the villain looks like Spy from Team Fortress 2.

I actually watched the first two episodes of this show and I think it's not too bad. It's cheesy, of course, and it has a lot of cliches, but it seems to own the cheesyness, and use the cliches in entertaining ways. The premise that the villain can make anyone into a villain is actually cool, and it allows for a lot of creative scenarios and it's enough to get you interested in what kind of villain will pop up next. There is also interest in the relationship between the "miraculouses" or however they're spelled and the humans. And the animation is actually better than I expected. So, yeah. The show has potential. It's not bad as is, especially for kids who might not be old enough to know the cliches.

Agreed with the above. Also, they just began their second season and I am extremely impressed with how its turned out so far. Several episodes of the first season are definitely cheesy and a little cringey (Looking at you, pigeon man), but give it some time and it's a very good show.

Pigeon Man? That's not the first time I've heard that before. *Looks at Hey Arnold.*

Yeah, you were right. I managed to watch the entire series up to season 2 episode 10. The entire first half of the first season was kind of meh. They didn't really seem to have a whole lot of direction, it just seemed a rather formulaic, episodic show. It got quite a bit better late in the season though when they first hinted at Adrian's father being Papillon. I really didn't see that coming, but it made sense in hindsight. And then they kind of left you guessing for a few episodes before they confirmed it, which was good. Then they gave a reason for why the two miraculouses were so important. And my guess about where they're going with this is that he wants to make a wish to bring back his wife. If that's so, then that's actually a better motivation than a typical cartoon villain. Yeah. It got a lot better late in season 1 and during season 2.
It still has some annoying things though that I wish they would stop. Like showing the entire transformation sequence every time the transform. Even multiple times in a single episode. To be honest, it just feels like filler.

Yup. He actually goes around saying, "Power to the pigeons! ROO ROO!" It's awful. At least the guy in Hey Arnold had some substance.
And yes, 99% of the fandom also thinks he wants to bring back his wife, and it's a pretty solid theory. I too believe that. I also have the theory that she isn't actually dead, or was actually the peacock miraculous holder for a while. But yeah, we'll see.
