So I’ve noticed this decade has been the decade of revamps of 80’s cartoons. I mean think about it. Since the start of this decade, we have seen new cartoons of... - My Little Pony - Transformers - Pound Puppies - G.I. Joe - Strawberry Shortcake - Care Bears - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Garfield - ThunderCats - Alvin and the Chipmunks - DuckTales - and now, Muppet Babies
I’m sure there are other revamps I might have missed, but with the decade almost being over, will they try to squeeze in some other 80’s revamps? If so, which cartoons will they revamp next? The Smurfs? Inspector Gadget? Danger Mouse? Ghostbusters? I’d actually love to see The Wuzzles get a revamp (that was a cool cartoon, and it’s a shame it had a short life and is so underrated).

Belchic - there is a Dangermouse reboot that was on the BBC. It even had cameos from Count Duckula too. I would love to see a Ghostbusters series revamp, but done right (with the original Ghostbusters and not something related to the 2016 bomb)

Where can I find this Danger Mouse revamp? Sony did revamp the Smurfs, but that was in the form of movies, not a TV series. As for Inspector Gadget, that’s the only one I listed where as far as I know has not had any form of revamp or any talk of a revamp in recent days (the 1999 Matthew Broderick film doesn’t count in this case).

There's actually a Inspector Gadget Cartoon on Netfilx, I feel it's more of a reboot since it just focuses on Gadget, Penny and Brain.

That's how I like it.
BTW I think Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures should count. I hear that Paul Fusco is supposed to be bringing ALF back too.

I think, in the case of; My Little Pony and Transformers, they tend to have a Show, for every Generation of the Toy; so, every decade has, at least, One Show, from those two.
Two-Tone is correct with there being a Danger Mouse Show! Shawn is also correct, with there being an Inspector Gadget Show, on Netflix, and I think they also have a Magic School Bus Show, but that is more a Nineties Show!
Thinking of other Eighties Shows; Mystery Science Theater 3000, has a return, on Netflix!
I think the 2017 Duck Tales Shall also have Episodes, Which are a Cross Over, with both Dark Wing Duck and Tail Spin, If those count, too!
I hear, there is a; Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers Film, in the works, too! Is this correct, Pups!?

Second, I’m talking about revamps of cartoons, not live action shows. Third, the revamps I’m referring to are TV shows, not movies.

One; I did bring up how Magic School Bus is a Nineties Show. My point, in that case, and M S T 3 K, was that Netflix are doing a number of Revival Shows.
In the case of Films; I bring that up cause it is a Film of; Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers...which is an Eighties "Animated" Show! You understand why I bring it up, there!?

To be honest, Bab, I haven't heard anything more on the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers Film, so I think the film has been cancelled. I could be wrong though.

I find it ironic we've got a post like this going since "Ready Player One," which has an 80s nostalgia theme, is about to come out.

But still, I’m talking about revamps of CARTOONS. MST3K is NOT a cartoon; it’s live action. As for Chip and Dale, while that was an 80’s cartoon, this “revamp” you are referring to is a MOVIE, not a TV series. I am only talking about TV series’ here. Understand now? Also, I’m kind of siding with Shawn here. I haven’t heard any further talk about this Rescue Rangers movie. I’m willing to bet it’s been canceled (then again, every time I do say something like that, Trey or someone always shows me some kind of proof that I’m wrong).
