Here is a discussion, that comes up some times.
I often spell the name of the Three Leg Dearly Dalmatian as; Tri-Pod; however, another Pup tells me it is spelt; Tripod.
You also get debates on whether the Dalmatian with Bladder issues is either called; Wizzer or Whizzer (in this case, I have seen multiple sources spell it both ways).
However, May I ask, how do you spell their names, Pups?

I was talking to a friend about how you would spell a Characters name correctly, I believe. The point is, he was called out on it, but he proves that you can call them either way, it doesn't matter what you call them. So, if you want to call it. Tripod or Tri-Pod, Wizzer or Whizzer, go ahead.

uh... no Shawn, there IS a wrong way of spelling a name.
It's like if someone spelled your name Sean, "technically" it's correct but everyone knows it's spelled Shawn so it's not right.
Grammatically tripod is ONE word. So it IS Tripod. Not "Tri-Pod"
as for Wizzer I've seen it spelled both ways and on official material, so...
