It's been a trend. A lot of the show's staff have been updating their resumes to say they no longer work at Passion Pictures and have gotten new jobs. But this is a big one, since he was the series director and basically the show-runner. It honestly feels like season two may not happen, as I can't find any resume information online that has people working on season two. One of the writers did have on their site that they wrote scripts for season two, but that was a long time ago and they've since edited their site to remove that information. Some people seem to remember season two getting announced before the show even premiered, and even I could have sworn that was true, but looking back it appears that no such articles ever existed.
Could it all be under NDA? Could this be industry turnaround, where crew members simply left and got replaced with other employees? Maybe. But I would hedge your bets, as I no longer believe season two is a certainty.

Omg if that's ALL we get that's really sh*tty! More than 20 years waiting for the franchise to get some use and all we get is 1 season with a messed up airing schedule that gets canceled unexpectedly?!
IDK what is going on. Maybe Disney isn't using Passion Pictures for season 2 for whatever reason. Is... that a thing that could happen?

Well, Keep in mind, a number of Shows do have their Show Runners change, across their run. Case in point; Friendship Is Magic.
People do tend to work on Multiple Shows, too.
The Source for Season Two is from the Writers, and I do specifically remember seeing the post on their page, even if it has been edited, now.
We also have to keep in mind; "101 Dalmatian Street" is also being made by both Passion Pictures & Atomic Cartoons, too! So, Maybe, it is Atomic Cartoons, who are working on Season Two.
It is also not uncommon for U K Shows to have LONG Periods between Seasons. The previous Season of Doctor Who had an ENTIRE YEAR between Episodes, and that is for one of the most famous British Shows there is!
While I do not think Season Two has been ruled out, like what Jez Hall suggested to you on Twitter, Jack; We need to make sure that Disney Knows that we would like to see more of "101 Dalmatian Street".
Like I post; Nothing saying there is not going to be a Season Two; But, we should, at least, make sure the demand is there, Shall we?

I honestly don’t think the creators of this show will listen to the fans’ demands.
If Season 2 has been canceled, then so be it. It’s not like there’s more to uncover to progress the story like with My Little Pony. At least we got one epic season, and it proved to be a success.
Though for now, I’m not going to worry about it.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if they canceled Season 2. Considering Disney Channels across the globe are shutting down due to the success of Disney+, it would seem logical that they would pull the plug on the series. Though if they do decide to carry on with the series, it will have to be exclusive to Disney+ in every country now, and Season 2 will most likely be uploaded one episode at a time on a weekly basis like with all the other exclusive content.

I looked all over Google and could not find any official sources confirming this.
