It was alright. It wasn't bad as reviewers claimed. As there were some jokes in there, but the movie could've been better. After watching the film, I started digging around and found something interesting, something that I wished that they had gone with cause it would've been cool to actually see it. But one of the scraped Scripts was the Silver Eyes Movie. I wouldn't mind watching it if that got made.

I admit, I am not really a follower of the FNAF Franchise, however, my guess as for the critics response to the film is similar to what happen with the Mario Film.
That being, it's a film intended more for long time fans, who have a history with the franchise and its lore, and things they may recognize are lost on a casual audience member. So, it is likely a film you'd get more out of if you're familiar with source material.
Bishop also says that it also feels at times that some films get a critic penalty because they are horror films. So, best add ten to twenty percent onto their score, too.
Like I say, it is more likely a film intended for fans than a casual audience member.
Who has seen the film, then?
