27 years ago, yesterday, just as we got into the holiday season, Disney would release a live action version of the 1961 classic animated movie, 101 Dalmatians. The movie would be a hit and also cause Dalmatians to spike in popularity. Also we got THE definitive live action version of Cruella de Vil in the form of Glenn Close's performance in the movie.
So all I can say is Happy Anniversary to the live action 101 Dalmatians.

I admit, I think the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians" was my first introduction to the franchise, when Younger. I guess it was around about that age where the Franchise got big again because of this film. I recall watching the VHS of it a lot (although, my VHS was the 4:3 censored version, so every instance of "Bl00dy" was replaced with "Blinking"). Speaking on the Film, I was at the Disney 100 Exhibit a week ago, and they happened to have some items from the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians" Film! This includes Anita's Sketch Book, which also incluedes the Design for the Dalmatian Coat. The License Plate for Cruella's Car. As well as the Magazine which we see Wizzer...whiz on during the Escape from Devil Manor! It be intriguing to see these items again! Remember when Disneyland Paris use to have Cruella's Panther Devil on display, too?

I remember seeing pics of Cruella's car at Disneyland Paris. Also i remember those props from the movie, especially the magazine with Cruella's face that Wizzer marked his territory on.
