As Shadow and Rudolph flew in the sky, Shadow's bare feet fluttered in the wind, and the Dalmatian could feel the wind in between his toes. "I'm flying! I'm flying with Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer!" He screamed to the heavens, and he trusted Rudolph not to drop him. "This, this is a fine way to spend the day."
"Well, what you say we help with the barbecue?" Cecilia asked Blake.

Shadow's muzzle went a shade of puce, taken by surprise. In return, he wrapped his arms around Rudolph, both of their chest touching. "Mmmm. . . this is nice. Mmmm, do you want to remove your shoes? Sit back?" he murred, wagging his tail. "I don't mind if you lift me off my bare feet, so we can fly together."
"Where do we get pixie dust anyway?" Cecilia asked Blake.

Here's what I have for Shadow.
Shadow was born in a litter of four, with him being the tallest in a family living in Bath. Though when Shadow got his spots, unlike his sisters and brother who got ordinary ones, Shadow's spots were light grey star markings, that darkened over time, causing his pets to treat him like if he's a sacred object. His sisters and brother assured Shadow that they weren't jealous. There's something about him that made them calm. The family then moved to London, allowing Shadow to venture onto Camden Town, where he never wanted to leave. One day while he was in Camden, Shadow saw a Dalmatian who wore headphones and a Dalmatian who loved painting. Shadow stuck out like a sore thumb. Dalmatians with normal spots, Shadow's star spots. So, all in all, Shadow was introduced to the Dalmatian family, where the star-spotted Dalmatian, when he met Dylan, saw his geek spill out. Again, space. And let's not forget when Shadow said, "The only way space will be complete is if Pluto elevates back to a planet." And finally, the World Wide Woof is used to say that Shadow is all right. In other words, he technically moved himself. And from there, he finds his love of stationery, wanting to kick Dylan's butt for messing with the dead, and where he got cursed.

Cecilia heard Blake and grinned, sticking out her tongue at him. "Do you have any pixie dust on you then, Blake?"
Shadow didn't care if he was shirtless in front of Rudolph, for it allowed the reindeer to eye his chiseled abs. This is an informal party, so there was no need for him wear austere clothing. "You had me at magic. You know at home, I have magical wristbands that grants the wearer the ability to fly. If I had known you were coming, I would have brought them, so we could have aerial races." he said.

Cecilia chuckled. "Well, anything is possible, isn't it?" she asked Rudolph.

Shadow smiled at Rudolph, his tail swaying sideways in pure happiness. "We won't ever judge you, Rudolph." Shadow's words ring true, and he hoped that the red-nosed reindeer will keep those in his heart. "You have all of us to speak and vent to." Deep down, the star-spotted Dalmatian felt appalled at how the other reindeers treated him, and he knows how Rudolph feels, because Rudolph wasn't the only one attacked for being a homosexual.
Cecilia thought it was for the best to focus on other topics, rather than ones that could hurt. "Rudolph, what is it like to fly, and is it possible to make us fly?" She remembered Shadow's wristbands, and those help those who wear them achieve flight, but since Rudolph is a magical reindeer, she hoped it is possible, which could enhance any games, by making them aerial, not to mention that flying could prevent aching feet.

Shadow blinked, surprised to see who arrived. He quickly got on his feet, setting his glass of sparkling water on the grass, and went over the red-nosed reindeer whose nose lit up like a flashlight during a thunderstorm. "I heard of you, though I thought you'd be one of those celebrities who has a severe case of fame fever," he said. "Anyway, aren't you Rudolph? The red-nosed reindeer?"
Cecilia chimed in, saying, "Rudolph? I thought he was a myth!"
Shadow's ears perked, the star-spotted Dalmatian turning over to his friend. "CeCe, if Rudolph wasn't real, then why am I standing next to him, and I'm pretty sure he isn't a hologram."

Shadow and Cecilia pondered. The two in deep thought. "This is our first time celebrating Christmas in July," Shadow answered. "Normally, CeCe and I head to the mall."
"Yes," Cecilia chimed in, "to buy things we don't need and to buy fall clothing in preparations for September."

Shadow smiled at Balance as she and the others arrived.
"Glad you could make it Balance." Shadow wagged his tail. Happy his friends arrived to join in the fun. He grinned at Blake. "And you couldn't be bothered inviting me to your stakeout."
"So, Blake, have you ever celebrated Christmas in July?" Cecilia asked. She turned over to his siblings and asked the same.

Shadow stared at Whiskers, stretching out a paw toward him. He closed his eyes, speaking to himself in a volume that Whiskers and the others still hear. As he did, his right forepaw illuminated as golden sparkles floated up from his paw to the barn's roof. "It appears that I can, Whiskers," he said, fluttering open his eyes. "You see, I spend my time learning this craft instead of looking for ways to cheat." The star-spotted Dalmatian hated showing off, pulling off an impromptu mini magic show, but they always a time when he had to prove his magical abilities.
Genesis nodded their head, hearing Lucy. They quickly turned to Nugget. "Nugget, follow me. And don't stop for anything until we reach the others." Genesis then trotted off to the barn, expecting Nugget to follow.

Shadow sat down in one of the chairs, watching Tornado stand up to the house. He could go for a drink as he turned over to her and said, "Yes, may I have sparkling water if you have it?"
Cecilia sat down in the chair next to Shadow. "Make that two, please." she flashed a smile at Tornado.

Shadow eyed the giant figures of Santa Claus and Frosty, the colorful lights, and the fake snow. All the artificial possessions are what helps makes Christmas what it is. The star-spotted Dalmatian is all for it, but this is the first time for him and Cecilia.
"This is our first time," Shadow answered. "I've heard of Christmas in July before, but neither CeCe nor I have celebrated it."
"Such a fine place you have here," Cecilia commented.

Two other Dalmatians joined Patch, Priscilla, and Tornado at the Beach Villa, having arrived after hearing about celebrating Christmas in July. They may not have grown up with the custom, but life is all about trying new things, no matter how weird they may be.
"Shadow," said one of the two, dressed in nothing but an orange sundress, spots decorating her body, though leaving her ears blank. "I can feel the magic in the air. Christmas came early this year." The two were by the Christmas tree, staring wide-eyed at the colorful Christmas lights and ornaments. The visceral sentiment of their surroundings made the two want to stay.
Shadow wore long black pants, which stopped above his bare feet. His chiseled abs and pectorals graced his shape. Spots in the formation of stars covered his upper body, including the ears. Unlike Patch, Priscilla, and Tornado, Shadow himself was barefoot, preferring to stay that way. His beliefs are what caused Shadow to arrive on his bare feet. It connects him to nature and the planet. He chuckled at the Dalmatian with him. "Cecilia, it's going to be a holiday we'll never forget," he said, his tail wagging.
Cecilia, like Shadow, was also on her bare feet, and the ground felt comfortable under her soles. She turned to Patch and Priscilla and said to the two, "Is this your first Christmas in July, too?"
