Random Fact # 4, 700
In an early version of the first Simpsons Christmas Episode, "Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire", Marge would have met up with Homer at work, but she would have been drunk, leading to Homer getting fired, hence explaining why he didn't have any money for Christmas. This was changed in the aired episode to be that Homer doesn't get his Holiday Pay Bonus, and Marge spending the Holiday Savings to remove a Tattoo from Bart's Arm.

I did not know that. Thank you, babclayman.
How about this:
Random Fact #4701:
During the mid-1930s, Walt Disney had not directed a cartoon for about 5 years. He was criticizing their work on te Silly Symphony cartoon called "The Golden Touch", which was their spin on the famous Greek myth of "King Midas" and decided that he would direct it himself. The cartoon was redone in a medieval-type setting with Midas being granted the ability to turn everything he touches into gold to add to his already vast wealth, but regrets it once he learns there is nothing he can do for sustenance.
The cartoon was an immediate failure. Reasons included that the cartoon had stiff and lazy pacing, and King Midas was such a flat character that was too unsympathetic for audiences to care for.
Because of this failure, Disney himself disowned the cartoon and forbade anyone from talking about it. It hit him so hard he gave up on directing altogether and just became a full-time producer.
The cartoon can currently be seen on Disney+.

Random Fact # 4, 702
In the Film; "Elf", Buddy heads to a Department Store called Gimbles. The original plan was for this store to be Macy's, and they even got Macy's Permission to use the name. However, a condition that Macy's gave was not to show the Macy's Santa wasn't the real one. However, Jon Favreau didn't want to alter the script, so replaced Macy's with Gimbels, which in real life went out of business in 1987.

Random Fact #4703:
One of the Beatles’ most iconic album covers is the cover of their 1963 album, “Please Please Me”, which features the band looking down the stairwell of the now defunct Manchester Square. The photo was taken by Angus McBean. In 1969, the Beatles asked McBean to take that same picture of them in that same location showing their older selves in the same positions. This was intended to be the cover of their upcoming album, “Let It Be”, which at the time was going by its working title, “Get Back”. However, the band shelved the project due to their creative differences and broke up before they finished the album. In 1970, Phil Spector wound up finishing the album for them with a completely new album cover and title. All four of them hated the final result. The originally planned album cover would never be shown publicly until 1973, when two Greatest Hits compilations were released sometimes referred to as “The Red Album” and “The Blue Album”. The cover of The Red Album featured the original “Please Please Me” cover, while the cover of The Blue Album featured the previously unreleased “Get Back” cover.

The original 1964 airing of the Rankin / Bass' "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer" special didn't feature Santa coming to pick up the residents on the Island Of Misfit Toys, just giving his word to Rudolph that he will. Following a writing campaign, in which viewers wrote in to the station, asking to actually see Santa keep his word. The following year, a new scene showing Santa collecting the Misfit Toys would be filmed as well as a new credits sequence showing the elves delivering them.

The Slugworth Story for the 1971 Adaptation of "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" was added as it was being recorded, so the film could have a villain. In the US, in Family Programming, the FCC have laws known as "Host-Selling", where an Advertainment Series (such as most Hasbro based shows, like MLP or Transformers) is prohibited from showing the product they're advertising as existing in the actual show. If you do, the FCC will define said episode as a full length advert, which would then put the station over their Twelve minute advertising limit for every hour of broadcasting. Examples of this can be seen in the Yu-Gi-Oh Anime, where the Cards have been redrawn as opposed to what the Real World Cards look like. Or, when an episode of Pokemon was dubbed for Western Audiences, when looking through James' possessions, a Dark Primeape from the Pokemon Trading Card game was replaced with a photo of James.

Random Fact #4717: In the original draft for Raya and the Last Dragon, Sisu was going to be a male dragon named Katsu. Katsu was going to be a red dragon that greatly resembled a Chinese dragon. He was also going to have a sense of humor like Sisu. It was decided to change the dragon since they felt Katsu was far too similar to Mushu from Mulan, so it was decided to change Katsu to a blue female dragon and change the name to Sisu, but still maintain the sense of humor he originally had. Did you know that pups? I personally think they made the right decision in changing the character.
