The old show wasn't exactly kind to the Cousins either, the show's last movie implied Swiftheart Rabbit got an unmentioned sex change (she's a girl in the show and first movies, a guy in the last one).

(Given its toyetic nature I'm surprised the new Care Bears was 'one and done' on the Hub)

This is actually a pretty neat story, I had a feeling the mouth thing would backfire on Lucky.
