Nice analogy, Belchic! I will agree, "Four Stories Up" is one of the best episodes.

A lot of you are probably going to disagree with me on this one, but this is just my opinion.
Episode: "A Christmas Cruella"
Classification: Unoriginal
Score: 0.0
Okay, let's get a grip here. I am a huge fan of 101 Dalmatians, but mostly the TV series. I was hoping there will be a memorable Christmas Special to this series. When I saw the Christmas special, I was totally ticked off. It's basically just a parody on "A Christmas Carol".
When Cruella comes home from work on Christmas Eve, she gets a greeting from the ghosts of Horace and Jasper (who were apparantley still alive just a couple hours earlier) accompanied by heavy chains and stuff. That's when I knew right away that this was going to be a parody on "A Christmas Carol". I don't mind the cultural reference, but come on, even I can see this coming! Every episode of 101 Dalmatians brings an exciting, fresh and original idea, but this episode lacks originality making it a very predictable episode.
I wasn't too surprised to find that the main pups played the roles of the Ghosts of Christmas. I must admit, Cadpig was a very appropriate character to portray the Ghost of Christmas Past, and who else besides Rolly can be the Ghost of Christmas Present? Spot, I'm not too sure about. While she is the one of the main four who seems to have the most common sense, she's too much of a comic relief to provide enough serious matter into such events.
Lucky didn't have any lines in this episode, and he was supposedly playing the role of Tiny Tim due to his crutch. I thought it was kind of disturbing at the end when Cruella gave everyone office supplies as Christmas presents. However, I did find the very end to be very memorable when Cruella hugs Wizzer and gets herself wet! Still, this is overall one of the worst episodes of the series. If the plot was just a little more original, then I would have considered it to be one of the best or at least appreciated it a little more.
"So, what did you do today, son?" "Oh, you know...let a mad man make a cute little TV series and torment the resting soul of Charles Dikkens."
(I had to misspell that because you won't let me say the first half of it.)

So, you gave the episode a zero? A zero?! It was a parody episode, it was supposed to be unoriginal; I can’t quite comprehend how you’d bash it just for that and then give the episode the most horrible rating available. I can’t quite express my words here… Are you really a fan of the series?
I apologize if I sound rude, but since you're writing your reviews at TV.com, you're using a 0-10 scale. You've basically said, through giving it a 0 rating, that nobody should ever watch that episode and it was the most horrible episode you've ever seen.
Please, select your ratings more carefully.

As promised, here's a new review of mine:
Episode: "Every Little Crooked Nanny / Cone Head"
Classification: A Very Special Episode
Score: 9.3
"Every Little Crooked Nanny" and "Cone Head" were both superb episodes of "101 Dalmatians". These two episodes are both very special to me. The episode aired on my birthday.
In "Every Little Crooked Nanny", it's Spring and time for some Spring cleaning, that means its time to clean the Dearly's home and get rid of Cruella's security cameras. Anita's making something for her cows, but Cruella overhears this and misinterprets thinking that she's plotting something for a couple of royalties. Cruella decides to let Horace and Jasper trick Nanny out of the house and get a makeover so that she can take her place posing as a sister of hers. I must admit, while Cruella is amongst my least favorite characters, her plan was very well thought out. Cruella also reveals that she's really good at calling for quick service. I especially loved the four guys who worked in those services and said their marching grunts; they're really funny to listen to. I would have liked the episode a little better if the pups had larger speaking roles. While Cadpig does have a few memorable lines, the main pups don't really say much in this episode. That's the episode's only weak point, but other than that, the whole thing is pretty entertaining to watch.
"Cone Head", I personally think is the better of the two. Lucky shows off for Mooch by jumping off a high tree branch into Hiccup Hole. He gets injured as a large branch lands on his head. Dr. Whittaker stitched him up and gave him a cone to wear for a few days. He was being forced to wear the cone. This was very miserable for poor Lucky since he had to deal with Mooch poking fun at him so much. It was in some ways amusing the many attempts Rolly and Cadpig helped him hide the cone. I don't know why Spot decided to play soft jazz music each time he walked out. The first time may be understandable since Cadpig said that style is 99% attitude; I'm not sure about the second and third times (maybe just for fun?). Of course, this episode wasn't all to feel sorry for Lucky. The writers cleverly plotted this episode by adding a B story: Roger accidently gives himself a bald spot and does everything he can to cover it up. This episode, again, has a lot of memorable quotes (most of which Cadpig deserves credit for). Mooch, in the end, gets what he deserves for insulting Lucky so much.
Overall, these were both superb episodes. I personally think "Cone Head" was the better of the two. This episode is very special to me since it originally aired on my birthday. It makes me feel even better the fact that one of the two is a strong vehicle for Lucky. This is definately one of the greatest birthday presents I have ever recieved!

Episode: "Frisky Business / Cadet of the Month"
Classification: Silly
Score: 8.0
Though rather silly, these were both very well made episodes of "101 Dalmatians".
Personally, I liked"Frisky Business" better. The main pups decide to steal Cruella's car and drive it to Stiffle so they can sample some of the new K9 Krunchies flavor.
I thought it was kind of mixed up having Lucky come up with the idea to try to drive a car, but it was still rather amusing. The main pups' positions on controlling the car I felt were very appropriate. Lucky on the wheel, Cadpig on the gear shift, and Rolly on the pedals made some perfect sense. It kind of reminds me of their standard totem pole lineup (Lucky on top, Cadpig in the middle, and Rolly on the bottom).
This episode is mainly a strong vehicle for Lucky and Spot, and while Rolly and Cadpig didn't have very many lines, they are still very important to the episode. Like "Leisure Lawsuit", Cadpig only has a couple of lines in this episode, but they're still as memorable as anything she has ever said; her line, "I prefer the term: locationally challenged", is classic Cadpig.
Roger also proves that despite the fact that he hates Cruella, he can easily drive her crazy if he tried really hard.
"Cadet of the Month" isn't as exciting as the other episode. It did make me feel sorry for the main pups not having as much paw merits as Tripod. It kind of makes me think back to my days in Boy Scouts. Lucky cleverly plotted a scheme to try to save Lt. Pug, but Swamp Rat ends up saving him. Not only are the pups disappointed, but Tripod is too (that's a relief). The ending I didn't feel was appropriate, but it was a little funny to see the pups crushing cans with their butts.
Overall, though silly, these episodes are strong and amusing, so they earn my recommendation.

My next episode review:
Episode: "Citizen Canine"
Classification: Cleverly Plotted
Score: 8.7
Okay, I must start out by saying that this episode was a little harsh, but I enjoyed it a lot.
In this episode, Ed Pig, the so-called "Mayor" of the farm, has been passing laws that are unfair to the main pups. Some of which include Cadpig not being allowed to whistle and Rolly not being allowed to say the word, "bacon". After consuming a whole tub of ice cream the main pups found, he then states that it's illegal to complain. That's the last straw!
After the main pups said their complaints about Ed to the Colonel, Lucky said that anybody could be the mayor of Dearly Farm. This gives Cadpig the idea to have Lucky run for mayor. Lucky liked this idea, and Cadpig, Rolly and Spot all agreed to be part of his committee if he won.
The main reason Lucky wanted to run for mayor was so that he could declare all of Ed Pig's unfair laws to be null and void. However, the competition to run against Ed for office was pretty tough, because Ed gave the farm animals what they really wanted. In order to get their votes, Lucky decides to make bigger promises to the farm animals, and as a result, he won!
Things, however, started looking pretty bad for Lucky from this point on since the other animals wanted to know how Lucky planned to keep all those promises he made. Thankfully, his three vice mayors managed to stall for him. Lucky sure is lucky to have a friend in Cadpig (who has a very high I.Q.). That night, Lucky turned out to be a jerk and discovered that he was no better than Ed Pig. Shortly afterwords, Lucky resigned from the office, and Ed became the mayor once again. Now is this a bad thing or a good thing? Hopefully, Ed realized that what he did to the pups was wrong in taking advantage of his mayor-ism. I guess he did learn his lesson letting the pups have some ice cream at the end of the episode.
Overall, this episode stands as another great installment to the series. It's a little harsh, but it still earns my recommendation as a viewing. I'm sure you won't regret it.
"Everyone knows the real power is in big corporations." -You just said a mouthful! "Citizen Canine"

Okay, the wait is over. Here's my review on "Poison Ivy":
Episode: "Poison Ivy / Twelve Angry Pups"
Classification: Exciting
Score: 7.5
These were average episodes of 101 Dalmatians, but they could use a little more development.
In "Poison Ivy", Cruella is having the Dearly's watch over her niece, Ivy. Ivy seems like a very sweet girl, and the main pups decide to go play with her. However, the pups find out that Ivy is really a little trouble-maker, and she plans to cause chaos all over the farm and make it look like the puppies are responsible for it. She does a really good job doing it too.
It really hurt me to see the puppies get into trouble. Why did it have to be them? Those three pups are so innocent, yet they got into so much trouble, and Roger punnished them. Why did they have to so such in this episode? The puppies even did a totem pole in this episode...in their standard lineup even!
There are some things in this episode that are not quite clear enough such as Lucky spying on Ivy, and he tells his sibblings that she's framing them for messing up Roger's computer and then tells them to look while he was probably unaware that he was standing on Cadpig who at the same time was standing on Rolly causing there to be know way for them to get up to the window. Also, Rolly appearing trying to clean up Roger's desk while he didn't come through at first.
The ending I felt was appropriate having Roger and Anita find out that the puppies have been framed all along. Yes, those cute little puppies are just as innocent as Ivy. My only question is, did Roger ever find out how to get rid of that Ivy Virus? Some continuity might be nice.
"Twelve Angry Pups", in my opinion, is not as well-written as "Poison Ivy". In this episode, Mooch has been accused of stealing things from the other residents of Dearly Farm, yet he claims he's innocent. The farm decides to set up a trial to settle this whole thing.
I really think this episode could use a little more excitment rather than just, "Let's play trial." Ed Pig is also in character as he's always been, giving us his whole, "As mayor..." attitude. One of the few pros of this episode is the fact that it's one of the very few where Two-Tone has any spoken lines, and she deserved a little more spotlight than what she got in the series.
Overall, these episodes are okay. "Poison Ivy" has earned my reccomendation, but I reccomend you just not watch "Twelve Angry Pups" unless your one of those fans who is obsessed with Two-Tone. That's all I can say about this pair of episodes.
"She's doing something to Roger's computer, and she's framing us! Look!" -I would if I could, but for now, I am unable to. "Poison Ivy"

Episode: "The Goodbye Chick"
Classification: They did this one already
Score: 0.5
"The Goodbye Chick" stands out to me as one of the worst episodes of the series. I'll explain why, so don't freak out.
Cornelia is fed up with Spot acting like a dog and spending too much time with Lucky, Rolly and Cadpig and wants her to act more like a chicken. This plot sounds very similar to the plot in "My Fair Chicken", and I thought Cornelia changed her mind about Spot's behavior at the end of that episode.
What makes this episode different is the fact that it's a full-length episode, and Spot decides to run away from home and make friends with new types of animals and find out who she really is. I tend to prefer the short episodes better than the full-lenght episodes since I get two adventures for the price of one episode!
What makes me even more upset is this episode seems to come on very often when I don't want it to. It's like, "Wow! 101 Dalmatians is coming on! I haven't seen that show in such a long time!" But then the episode starts and it's like, "Oh, it's just this episode." Don't you hate it when dissappointments occur just like that?
I don't know why I'm against this episode so much. Well, I explained a lot already. This episode seems to focus on Spot more than any other character, and Spot is my least favorite of the main four. Lucky, Cadpig and Rolly all deserved larger roles in this episode, and that's the episode's main flaw.
In conclusion, "The Goodbye Chick" has not earned my reccomendation, and it's not a good way to get innitiated into the series. This is one of those episodes that you should just skip for the day while getting innitiated into the series. If you've already seen "My Fair Chicken", then you don't need to see this one. I suggest starting out with such classic episodes as "Leisure Lawsuit" and "Chow About That?" to get a good idea of what the show's all about.
"What can I say? It's a precious gift." -There are some things money can't buy, and some are not worth it. "The Goodbye Chick"

Just to make up for it, I'm going to review one of the series' best.
Episode: "You Slipped a Disk / Chow About That"
Classification: Series Classic
Score: 10.0
Without a doubt, these are two of the best episodes of 101 Dalmatians. Two extremely strong episodes in one small package! What more can you ask for.
"You Slipped a Disk": The main pups must retrieve Roger's disk from Scorch before he shows it to Cruella so they can keep Roger out of trouble.
I must admit, I don't have much to say about this episode. There was a lot of cool action and funny stuff in here, but too much to name. All three of the main pups are in character in this episode, and I totally don't mind Spot's absense at all. The chase sequence that is poking fun at the Scooby Doo cartoons was not too surprising. It's been done in various other cartoons as well. Probably the most memorable moment of this episode is Cadpig giving her speech to Rolly saying that they should go help Lucky face Cruella, and then Rolly suggests they just leave, which they do. Definately one of the best lines in the whole series. Rolly and Cadpig are pretty much done for the episode after that, but they do make a brief cameo towards the end. Cruella shows her characteristics as well making changes to Roger's game, and it also shows that she's a computer expert having the ability to do that.
Overall, the episode was very entertaining to watch, so it's reccomended by me.
"Chow About That": Lucky, Cadpig and Rolly miss lunch and try to find a way to break into the chow tower.
This is an outrageous episode, and it is one of the most entertaining episodes of the whole series. The pups racing to the farm was very entertaining all the way through. Cadpig's mental meal I've got totally memorized; it's one of the best things I've heard her say. The various attempts the pups made to get into the chow tower were a little different. Who's idea was it to launch Rolly into the chow tower by using Cadpig as the weight to launch him? I mean, come on, Cadpig weighs like nothing, and Rolly is extremely heavy, plus he was in a bucket and wearing metal stuff. The vaccum cleaner is even weirder. Where did the pups plug that thing into? And how did they get a cord that long? I don't know where they got those springs from, but it was fun to see them bounce around on them. The peanut baloon they got from the tractor they found on the way back, but what made them think it would get them anywhere?
Oh well, the three pups are still outside the chow tower. All is quiet around the silo, but the pups' stomachs grumble loudly. Will they ever get the kibble they want? Spot had the very answer, but the pups chose to ignore it until they crashed into the sewer pipe.
In my opinion, "Chow About That?" was the better of the two episodes, but both that and "You Slipped a Disk" were very strong making this one of the most classic episodes of the series.
"You know, when I get hungry, I have a mental meal." -Works for me! "Chow About That?"
