Rebecca is so well remembered basically because Lucky fell for her. Even after both were freed from the town's curse, there seemed to be a few hints that Lucky really liked her. It was a cute and memorable case of puppy love.

well he also fell for Two-Tone too, and if you have both Rebecca and Two-Tone on the farm at the same time expect a major fight over Lucky

anyway Rebecca isn't as every dalmatian,she has special collar,accent and her eyes color change...she shows as a little bit at that moment when we first time see her what dalmatians did at that time.......they were guarding people who travelled......I think she's interesting and mysterious not only regular dal........

I think the reason Rebeccas eyes changed colour was because of the curse.
They were pink before Spot kissed her so when the curse was lifted from her they turned Blue. That's my reasoning for the eye thing.
Her accent i guess is Irish as she was probably with the Irish seatlers in America and i think you are right about how Dalmatians were used for Guarding coaches.
It is a shame we didn't get to learn more about her. It would have been cool.

Bab's right they did change cause of the curse
although why Spot kissed her was beyond me, other than the fact to gain an ally there in DeVilville

also her nose color changes bc of the curse from black to brownish pink........
