How about you quit using my name. The mods know, I know. Stop or face banning.
I guess Newman leaving was predictable. Minus their legend-making win in the Daytona 500 this year they haven't won a race in nearly 3 years. 2 to 1 he's headed for the new Stewart-Haas team or the new RCR-Cheerios team
Proof of Identity: Lee Petty won the first Daytona 500 in 1959, his son Richard won it 7 times (1964, 1967, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1979, 1981) and his son Kyle sat on the pole for the race in 1993. Kyle's son Adam never ran in the 500 before his death in 2000.
Mark Martin started his career driving car #02
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s first major NASCAR race came at Mytle Beach. He qualified the #31 Mom 'N Pops stores Chevy well but had a rough day, capped by a spin.

12 Dodge is a toss up between Martin Truex Jr. and David Stremme. I give the edge to Stremme because he doesn't need to sever his DEI contract obligations like Truex would. PLus he's already on Penske's payroll as a test driver.
