Last year to kill time during the offseason I posted a few racing videos off YouTube... sparkydearly.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=nascar&action=display&thread=1164649213Well, the concept is back for 2007-2008. Once again, I'm going to give you a ride of the most exiciting, most dramatic, and funniest moments in NASCAR. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride... As last year, feel free to post your own links but please, no fatal crashes. Nobody likes to see those. Alright, let's get rolling... Ever break something while your playing around, like a lamp. Here's the NASCAR equilivant as driver Chris Diamond takes out one of the track lights during a night race. The wierder part, he's not the first one to it that weekend... www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3g8cIduMZ0John Krebbs you are cleared for takeoff. Watch this wild ride that comes to us, not from Daytona ot Talladega but, from Infinion Raceway www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOq6RHpHtPEThat last clip featured Derrike Cope in the #98 car but Derrike got fired a few races later. The car's new driver Jeremy Mayfield had a few problems though too, including this one from MIS. He doesn't win the race but he does win the hood chucking compeition. Look how far that hood flies once it comes out his car... www.youtube.com/watch?v=56A03UeE9k4&feature=relatedIt's the last lap at Talladega in 1984 and Dale Earnhardt is on the prowl... www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPNkiN9gZ7o

A little more NASCAR action... It's the Busch race at Daytona in 1996 and Jason Keller is looking to get some exposure for his new sponsor Slim Jim. This will get them on the screen... Oh, and watch for the yellow #1 of Hermie Sadler. He literally drives under another car, sparing board member Supergamecube's grandfather from having to do any repairs... www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PvLa1PiM-wSpetember 1991, it's youth vs. experience as young gun Davey Allison goes head to head with 50-year old Harry Gant for the win at Richmond. A full 20 laps of racing action in less than 9 minuntes... www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5vaIxCd-rwAnd finally, here's a scary wreck from 1994. Mark Martin loses his brakes in a crash and slams into a wall, thru a guard rail, and into another wall before finally stopping... www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Gvq3rcc30

In 1995, the Dover Downs racetrack switched to concrete pavement. The track's nickname is the "Monster Mile" as it is known for wrecks. Changing the surface didn't change that, this happened on the second lap with the new pavement... www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ8VWNPSRRw&feature=relatedwww.youtube.com/watch?v=_UE4AfpiDzc&feature=related(despite being less than 5 minuntes long, this vid is spread over 2 videos) Another big wreck at Dover, this time in 2004. Watch the white #6 car of Mark Martin, he get on the brakes and misses the wreck, he'd go on to win this race... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApDRx0T1a_gEven in the Busch Series, Dover is literally a monster! This was early in a Busch race at the track in 2005. Watch the #52 car, one of the slowest in the field and it ends up on its roof! Look at the hard hits some of the other drivers take www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvVP1lAydQY&NR=1What would happen if you took all of NASCAR's legends like Tim Flock, Junior Johnson, Fred Lorenzen, Cale Yarborough, and Elmo Langley (who was NASCAR's pace car driver at the time) together in modern race cars for a short track race. The answer...this special race run as part of the 1991 All-Star race. You won't believe who wins... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_0qCoQ84w0
