I felt I was being a little harsh on De Village Elder, so to make up for it, I'm going to post a topic on what I think is a really good episode.
"Lobster Tale", I would have to say is definately one of the best of the series. For one thing, it shows a very fine example of what Cadpig's character is like. If I was to make a list of the top 5 episodes that show a perfect example of Cadpig's personality, I would put "Cadpig Behind Bars" at #1, and this one would go at #2.
This is also a good episode, as it teaches a very good morale: listen to other people and not just your side of the story.

I will agree that Lobster Tale is one of the good episodes that stars Cadpig prominently. Partly because it doesn't depend on her acting like a violent hypocrite or being emotionally volatile (the respectively exact problems with episodes like "My Fair Moochie" and "Animal House Party"). While I still think this episode deserved to be only 11 minutes long (like I say, Cadpig is the least balanced character of the Main Pups), it is a good episode. BTW, did anyone else think this episode may have been an inspiration for the subplot in the Simpsons episode "Lisa Gets an A"? This could have been a funny alternate ending: Like how Homer accidently cooked his lobster Pinchy, Cadpig accidently cooked Lance and had to eat him. XD (This pic is on my DeviantART page too!)

Arf, You're right, Trey. X3 It does look like Simpsons took inspiration from, "101 Dalmatains"...again...
First, "101 Dalmatians" "Animated Film" inspires the basic Idea of the Simpsons with watching television (Check it in the "Did you Notice" thread). X3 An then do an entire episode based on the premise of, "101 Dalmatians". X3 Then the episode when Bart becomes Burns heir and he lives with Mr.Burns looks similar to the "101 Dalmatians The Series" episode, "Lucky To Be Alone". Now, Simpsons are stealing, "Lobster Tale". X3
Still, I do notice that the morale is "There is more than one side to a story". X3
I also agree with, Trey. I found that, Cadpig seemed completely out of character during, "My Fair Moochie" as she was practically the villain whom beat everybody up and used them to twist them before dumping Mooch when she made him a softy Pup.
Still, "Lobster Tale" does a good job at explaining what Cadpig is like and the morale is good. X3
Wonder what other Pups, think? X3

No, This Episode came BEFORE a Simpsons episode.
So, really, It is the Simpsons whom are ripping, "101 Dalmatians" off. X3
Again, "101 Dalmatians" gives inspiration. X3
Wonder what other Pups say on this, Episode. *Hugs* X3

I think Lucky, Rolly and Cadpig are the only pups who appear in this episode.

Ugh, the Simpsons episode "Two dozen and one Greyhounds" was made in 95, two years before the series... It's an obvious homage to the classic Disney film.
Do you guys even know what a rip off is? You remind me of music fans who doesn't like the change of direction a bands musical style makes and just randombly call them "sell out" even if the bands change hasn't been for any commercial benefit.

Yeah, I know what Rip-Offs are. =s I've seen the, Asylum films along with that Brazillian CGI Company with all their films. o.o I guess, You can say "Two Dozen & One Greyhounds" pays more homage, like I said. Still, I wasn't the one who used "Rip-Off" First. o.o
And I can agree with you, Shadow. Alot of shows do have similar plotlines. o.o "Four Stories Up" has a similar idea to Treehouse Of Horror or a Rugrats episode.
Still, I aplogise if we upset you, Kit. =s
Anyway, Back on board with this Episode. X3
What you Pups say on "Lobster Tale"? X3

I have an interesting question about this episode. Not that I want to stir up drama by asking a religious question, but the seafood restaurant where Cadpig stole Lance from...Is it possible that restaurant is a Christian restaurant? The reason I ask is because they say in the episode that the restaurant was closed on Sundays, and many Christian-run businesses are closed on Sundays for reasons I will not get into.
