Didn't Barack Obama already say SOPA is dead? PIPA might still alive but SOPA is probably doomed as it should be.

Wow! That's a shocker! When you say 8AM to 8PM, which region are you talking about? Also, would you mind giving a link or a full list of the sites so that we can get prepared? Thanks.

Hahaaa, I've only checked a few sites today and I can't go anywhere without hearing mention of this. Seeing as I've been surviving for weeks without going on the Internet anyway, I'm not too worried. In retrospect, I find it quite amusing how worked up some of my real life acquaintances are getting over this. Tomorrow, I'm planning to rock out my day 70's style. Whhooooaaa! Well, either that or a Mesozoic era style, I haven't really decided yet. n_n In any case, I do wish good luck for the protest (even though I'm not quite sure what it's all about), and to all of you as well. Personally I like flailing a pitchfork and torch around, so I'll stick with that. >: D

Oh. It's started already? Well, I guess I can be relieved that Proboards isn't one of the protesting sites.

It's true, Wikipedia has gone down today. o.o Although, my Google still works...or is it in the Images area? o.o
I also heard what Race did, Obama has stated that he nor the White House would support SOPA. So, at least here's hearing our voices for that...Pity it wasn't the same for the "Military Detain" bill.
I heard the Bill is being shelved for now, although the fight isn;t over yet.
There will be a Piracy act, but fortunately, it won't be as Bad as SOPA. What you think will become of SOPA then?

Well this has done its job to raise awareness. This is the first time I have actually bothered to learn exactly WHAT this bill is. I don't think it will be passed. If it does pass, then the internet is ruined, the end. I will have to find a new way to waste time now. Hmm...
And it is only the U.S. Google. The Canadian one is unaffected as well. It is only a big black box where the Google logo would be anyway.

dA isn't taking part in the blackout, however quite some members are planning to blackout themselves. As for Facebook, I don't know.
