Well, Pups!
I got the first page drawn and the script for the first three pages typed up.
Note, the Blank Panel is suppose to be the Bark Brigade Flag, but I need a design to it.
And the panels on the sketch are going vertically. So it's, Top, Bottom, Top, Bottom, Etc.
Page One
-Transfer.
Not a common thing amongst cadets.
You get the Brief Exchange Cadet or two, but they were often back to where they come from in about a week.
Don’t really think much of them.
-As Cliché as it sounds, Trying to survive on the streets isn’t the most leisurely life that you can lead.
Spend your Days trying to find any scrap you can and Spend your Nights hoping that box you call a home isn’t washed away by rain of over run with Rats..
-That was until I found this lot called; ‘The Bark Brigade’.
An Army Cadet Group for Dogs, as weird as that may sound.
But they give the food and the shelter, somehow.
-The main snag of the deal is that you have to attend their classes.
-Didn’t really pay much attention. Seven out of ten things that they teach me is isn’t stuff that the street hasn’t taught me already.
-I’m not the only cadet though. You got the Labradors and Alsatians, all of which have families to go home to at night.
I may not be the only cadet…
-But I am the only Dalmatian.
Page Two.
- (Panel showing the Colonel and Sgt. Tibbs) That was until I learnt about the Ranch Regiment, lead by the County’s Colonel.
-(Panel of Blaze) According to this one Alsatian Pup, the place is teaming with Dalmatians…I forget the number exactly.
-(Panel of Smudge before some shadowed adult canines) The time it took from hearing about it, to demanding a transfer though was less than that.
-(Panel, Smudge back in the Grocer Van) So, Here I am. Stuck in the back of a Grocers Truck for a Journey that feels like Hours…
Even though it’s hardly been half of one.
-(Panel shows Smudge perking up, hearing something) Here’s hoping this so called Farm is what it’s cracked up to be.
This is my chance to really show what I am.
Collie (from “Lucky To Be Alone”): Well, Recon this is your stp, Kid.
-(Shows Smudge with a shocked look on her face) Don’t Blow This Big Time, Smudge.
Page Three
Full Page Spread, Shown from behind Smudge and seeing what she’s seeing.
The entire Dearly Farm, with numerous Dalmatians all about the place (visual cameos likely).
Title: “101 Dalmatians”
“Issue One; ‘Welcome To The Dearly Farm’.
What you think, Pups?
Any alterings we need to make?
