I just heard that Steve Harvey was recently fired from his job due to reports of sexual assaults. Makes me wonder who the new host of Family Feud will be now. Also does this mean the Steve Harvey episodes will be banned from TV now?

I’ve just found out about Steve Harvey having been fired, but fired as the host of his own daytime talk show, not as the host of Family Feud.

Well, this thread hasn’t been touched in over a year. Just a few months ago, the newest Canadian version of Family Feud premiered. It’s appropriately entitled Family Feud Canada, and it’s hosted by Gerry Dee. The format is exactly the same as in the one currently used in the US version, though the top cash prize is $10,000, families can stay on the show for up to three days, and no car is won for winning enough games to retire as undefeated champions. Two months ago, a championship family with a one-game cash total of $10,000 called the Dubois family had their chance to win their second game blown thanks to one of the members of that family, Eve, having screwed up on a question that took place in Sudden Death. It can be seen right here in this video: So, what happened there was that the question asked was “Name Popeye’s favorite food”, and Eve buzzed in and said “Chicken!” in a prideful, singing tone and did a little victory dance, thinking that she got it, but that got big laughs, and that answer was not on the board. Her opponent of the challenging family called the Tomlin family got the answer for the win, which was “spinach”. Eve actually thought that the question was about Popeyes chicken. This moment on the show went viral, and Eve received a special prize for that moment. That special prize was $10,000 worth of Popeyes chicken. Speaking of versions of Family Feud in different countries, it was announced months before that Steve Harvey would be hosting two versions outside the US, one in Ghana and one in South Africa.

Two months ago, the South African version of Family Feud premiered, with Steve Harvey as the host. While hosting the show in South Africa, Steve had to get used to different terms for certain things, like different terms for “barbecue” and “French fries”.
In this version’s official YouTube channel, there are some clips that show each member having five members, and there are some clips that show each member having four members. The clips that show five-member families have KFC cups between members of each family. That’s because this version is sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chickeeeeeeennnnn!!! Yeah, had to bring back up a moment from Family Feud Canada.
