This August, it's coming! I'm super excited about it! This'll be my third time coming to it!
Just thought I'd being this up because I want to know if anyone else is coming to this Expo. If you are, let me know, because I'd love to meet other members in the flesh! I know we all live all around the world while this is in Anaheim, but people come from all around the world to this event every time they have it! If you're considering coming, then it's probably too late, because I'm sure it's sold out by now. You'll have to wait until 2015.

Ah, The Disney Expo is on again?
I realy do wish to head to one of those, mind you, it is a long way to travel. ^^" If I could, I would though.
If there are any mentions to "101 Dalmatians", you will mention them, right, Belchic? =3 Like that Shirt of yours, correct?

I doubt there will be, bab. The last expo happened on the year of the 50th anniversary, so that was a good promotion. Most of the stuff that'll be at this expo will be Marvel-related and stuff related to the shows on Disney's three channels. (Even though 101 is on Disney Jr., they won't promote it since its so old an unpopular, as opposed to shows like Jake and the Neverland Pirates. You know what I'm saying?)
You'd love to come, eh, bab? Well, plan on it for 2015. It is expensive, but for someone who loves Disney who travels a lot, I'm sure it'll be worth it!

Is this that thing where they had the rare surviving Mark IV red monorail cab car on display once?

Well, if there is anything "101 Dalmatians" related, be sure to let us know, Belchic. ;3
I wonder...what dates are the 2015 Expo being held on?

Since nobody else here seems to be coming to the expo, I might as well list some of the venues I'm planning on seeing there:
1. Tony Baxter giving a presentation on undiscovered vintage Disneyland sights. This is a sequel to what was held at the last expo that he did.
2. A presentation about Disney's Broadway plays.
3. Charles Phoenix doing a presentation of vintage slides from the Disney parks.
4. The people who provide the voices in the attractions in the Disneyland park.
5. A presentation of the Disney songbook presented by Richard Sherman and Alan Menken.
6. A look at the Disbey Channel's new animated series, Wander Over Yonder. I'll get to meet in person the cast of the show (including April Winchell) and the show's creator, Craig McCracken!
7. A look at upcoming plans for Disneyland's upcoming 60th Anniversary plus other upcoming attractions.

Hmm, Seems to be perky at the Expo, this year.
For One; are those like Disneyland Attractions that didn’t get picked up? Like how in Disneyland Paris, Frontierland or Discoveryland were meant to have ‘Tower Of Terror’ like Rides?
With Two; Were there any previews for Upcoming Productions?
Five; Is that like a brief concert where they perform various Disney Songs?
With Six; Is that the Craig who created Foster’s Home and Powerpuff Girls?
And Seven; What Plans have they got in store? =3

Hmm, Seems to be perky at the Expo, this year. For One; are those like Disneyland Attractions that didn’t get picked up? Like how in Disneyland Paris, Frontierland or Discoveryland were meant to have ‘Tower Of Terror’ like Rides? No. It's specifically going to focus on Disneyland in California. It's actually more of a look behind the scenes of vintage stuff from the park. Not that I know of. It's actually going to be the two of them talking about what goes into writing the songs and their experience working with the Disney company. They may perform a song here and there, but it's not going to be like a full-blown concert. Duh! There's only one Craig McCracken! They're kind of hush hush about that right now. Remember, bab: this is a convention. It's full of surprises. The only people who know about the stuff that goes on at these things, are the people who go to them. If they told us, it wouldn't be a surprise; that would be like someone telling you what you're getting for your birthday before you get it. I mean, they do give basic ideas, but there are a lot of things they surprise people with, like at one of the expos (but not particularly this one) Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance, and at another, Robert Downey Jr. made one as well. See what I mean?

Hey everyone! I'm back from the Expo, and I got a lot of cool things to talk about! babclayman: I may not be a Phineas & Ferb fan, but your sister might like this! I got to see this thing called the Wafflanator. It's a video game based on the Phineas &Ferb TV show that's like a 5-story tall screen where down below, players try to shoot Dr. Doofenshmirtz out of the sky using these contraptions that shoot rubber waffles. I was told that this whole thing cost $1,000,000 to build! I did get to see some neat Dalmatian stuff in the collectors forum including: 1. A poster for the 1991 theatrical reissue of the film. 2. An animation cell of one of the puppies. 3. A French version of the original 1961 theatrical poster. 4. There was this 5-foot tall statue of a Dalmatian pup that was up for auction as well as a statue of Cruella in a weird laying down pose. 5. I saw this very beautiful painting of Pongo and Perdita watching Thunderbolt with their 15 puppies. It was drawn by an artist named Rob Kaz. It was being sold for $695, which is not a bad price, but I didn't buy it because of how huge it was. I would have loved to have it, but I had no place to put it. I got to see a presentation hosted by Tony Baxter, who is now a Disney Legend, talking about some rediscovered Disneyland attractions from the past. At the end, they announced that Tony was going to be getting his own window on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland. I saw a presentation called Broadway & Beyond where a few members of Disney's theatrical shows performed a few songs from the many broadway musicals that Disney has put on. They announced that Aladdin is now getting its own broadway play. I got to see the hilarious Charles Phoenix show vintage slides of Disneyland. I also saw this thing called The Disney Songbook. Here, the legendary Richard Sherman and Alan Menken sat at a piano, told stories about the songs they wrote for Disney, and performed an epic concert of their songs. What made this more surprising is that John Lassiter was sitting in the audience with us! I got to see this presentation called The Lost Chords, where we got to hear some demos of never-before-released Disney songs that never made it to the films as well as re-recorded versions of them. As I was leaving that one, I met Dave Smith, the longtime head of the Disney Archives! At the end of the day, I got to take a look at the upcoming animated Disney Channel original series, "Wander Over Yonder". I got to see in person, the show's creator, Craig McCracken (of Powerpuff Girls fame) and the two voice actors who voice the two lead characters: Jack McBrayer and April Winchell. What really surprised me was that the girl who introduced them actually said (and I'm not joking) that April Winchell voiced Cruella on "101 Dalmatians: The Series"! That made me so happy to hear someone who DJ's on Radio Disney actually give that series some recognition! Anyway, this whole thing was just an opportunity to get autographs, which I would have loved to get Craig McCracken's, but the line was long, and we were kind of in a hurry to leave at the time, so that was that. At least I got to see McCracken in the flesh and here somebody mention "101 Dalmatians: The Series"! So anyway, there's my recap of D23. Overall, awesome expo! I look forward to the next one and hope to maybe see some of you guys there!

You are so lucky, Two-Tone! No pun intended.
One thing I forgot to say was that there was a booth promoting the upcoming movie, Super Buddies, where I could get my picture taken with one of the Buddies! Those of you who saw my picture on Facebook will know what I'm talking about. This reminds me of something I found out about that movie, which I'll discuss in that topic.

Two-Tone: Well, you're friends with me on Facebook, so you could go see the picture. I'm pretty sure it was Rosebud since it was wearing pink. I do fondly remember the rules I had to follow while I was getting my picture taken: 1. I had to look at the camera. 2. I could not look at the dog. 3. The dog could touch me, but I could not touch it. Believe me, those last two are extremely difficult because she was so irresistible it's impossible not to look at her! Thankfully, I'm not camera shy.
