Seeing that we've been creating a lot of new game topics, I thought of making this one.
The D Show is a game for the PC. The game was a game-show-styled game that was based around Disney trivia.
Here is how this version of the game works:
The host will come up with six categories that are all named after Disney films, shorts, songs, attractions, etc., but really each category is about another Disney-related topic that connects to the title of the category. One of the six categories will always be a year indicating a Disney Animated Feature that came out that year.
Each category will be picked one at a time. The first will be selected by anyone who wants to jump in and play.
Each category will have three questions with four multiple choice answers, and they get progressively harder. First question is worth 1000 points, second question is worth 2000 points, third question is worth 3000 points. A correct answer will award the player with that amount of points. If a player answers incorrectly, they will lose that amount of points, and the question is left open for anyone else. If all three incorrect answers are guessed on a question, then we will move on to the next question. If nobody answers within 24 hours of when the question is post, the correct answer will be revealed, and we will move on to the next question.
Once a category is completed, whoever has the highest score will get to choose the next category.
When three of the categories are completed, the scores are doubled. That means easy questions are worth 2000, medium questions are worth 4000, and hard questions are worth 6000.
Once all six categories are finished, whoever has the highest score at the end will get to construct the next game.
I know that sounds like a lot of rules to remember, but let's give this game a try:
Here are the six categories I have come up with for this game:
1. Space Mountain
2. Canine Patrol
3. Lonesome Ghosts
4. 2008
5. Stay Awake
6. The Best of Friends
So to anyone who'd like to try this, go right ahead and choose a category!
