I notice that in the test pilot, Dylan had two black ears, fewer spots on his head, and his star tag was gold. And as for Dolly, she wore a blue collar instead of the rings around her neck. When the heck will the pilot air?
BTW, this is my new name for some reason.

Who are you suppose to be; Blackie & Whitey? I am not sure if they shall actually air the Pilot. A lot of Shows have Pilots, that never actually air, or if they do, they are re-animated in the updated Style. Case in point being; "101 Dalmatians The Series", "Reccess" & "Gravity Falls". Those three had Pilots, which had different Animation to the actual aired Episode. You can see so, in these two Videos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpIZkxueaR0www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIyWbRU4K4MIf we do have the Pilot aired, it shall most likely be a Re-Animated version of it. That understandable?

Ever stop to think about Walkies on the Wild Side? In the beginning Dolly and Dylan are hanging with Fergus at the pond. When Fergus says that he is going to train Dylan, Dolly complains that she will have to do solo pup care. That is fine and dandy, however, who is watching the pups while she Dylan and Fergus are at the pond?

It did have it's shaky parts, but overall, it was pretty well done. I think the same of 101 DS. Some animation is a bit off, but the characters and the humor make up for it, in my opinion. Speaking of opinion, which of the characters of the new 101DS qoutes do you like best? A) Triple D's "Wonderfab!" B) Dante's "It's the end of the world as we know it!" C) Dolly's "Bow-whacka-wow!" D) Dylan's "Oh my dog! Oh my dog! Oh my dog!" E) Diesel's "Hot diggity dog!"

Probably Dawkins because he seems to be like a mini Dylan since he is inventing new things for the pups. Heaven help them if Dante is put in charge!

I shall agree with Wizzer, that it is most likely that Dawkins is in charge, while Dolly & Dylan are at the Park, as we see Dolly ask Dawkins to do so, later in the Episode.
Or, one can also make the case that Delilah & Doug had not headed to work yet, that day. That understandable, there!?

Its much better than those awful live action movies that came out in 1996 and 2000. The only good thing about those movies IMO was Glenn Close as Cruella and Hugh Laurie as Jasper in the first one. The series characters are likable, they have decent writing with continuity, see Christmas Cruella of Season 1 and they make some culture references in later seasons, such as the Simpsons in season 4. If it wasn't for the series, a ton of the users on this website would have never came into existence in the fandom, heck even this website probably wouldn't have even existed. Not to mention, I believe it was Tara Strong's first big breakout voice acting role she received as Spot The Chicken.

Don't forget Two-Tone and Vendella, Tara voiced them as well. and yeah, the series did have it's good points, then again it had it's bad points too. Such as a lack of development for many of the pups, not to mention most development going toward either the three main pups (Lucky, Rolly, and Cadpig), Spot, or the two most hated characters in the fandom Lt.Pug and Dumpling.

The 90s cartoon was fine, but let's not pretend it had "brilliant writing". It was a middling effort, with good episodes and bad episodes. It was pretty by-the-book for the era, with all of the cliches and tropes that came with it. It's not something that should be placed on a pedestal, and held over 101 Dalmatian Street as a shining example. It wasn't.

Okay, so we worked out who was dealing with the pups in the episode Walkies... Now, as a second question; In Winter Funderland, how do all of the pups faces appear unfrozen when Dolly uses her heat hands only to melt Dylan's face?

Yeah, I agree with Two-Tone. The character development was one of its downfalls. They did good with the main three, but I think that they should have focused more on some of the minor pups, such as Wizzer, Dipstick, Two-Tone, and Patch. On the flip side, that is one of the good things that we see in 101DS. In the first 8 episodes we see more character development in Diesel, Dante, Dawkins, the Triple D, Deepak, Dorothy, and so on than we ever see of the previously mentioned in the whole 101 D;the series

We can assume that Dolly warmed the others up too, off screen. Like, when you see a Character go to a different location, in a Film or Show, we can assume they travelled there, off screen.
Or, if you mean Dawkins, we do have the Camera focus on Dolly, after she begins warming Dylan, so maybe she is warming Dawkins, when the Camera is focus on her.
That understandable, Puppy Tales?
