Here's something I don't think we've tried before as its own thread but has anyone ever thought of doing tropes listings for our fan characters? Trey did one for Roxy on her thread and I think it's a neat idea so let's give it a shot.
Kicking off this thread how about we go with good old Patriot, one of my best known characters.
Wearing a Flag on Your Head: Up to Eleven since it's his real coat color. Patriot is an American pup across all continuities and is a patriotic red, white, and blue in color (white coat, red and blue spots) complete with having two little spots that form a "76" (for 1776, the year of American Independence) near his tail. Despite that... All-American Face: While Patriot is undoubtedly one of the "good guy" pups but he actually downplays this. He loves his country but he knows it has a lot of flaws, other countries are just as good in many aspects, and blindly agreeing with anything your nation does will get you in trouble. He doesn't really fit this mold. - If he starts playing this up it usually means he's in deep trouble and he starting to act like this as his way of putting on a brave face. Aluminium Christmas Trees: Blue-spotted dalmatians are a real, but ultra rare, variation of dalmatian. Real ones have spots that are more a blue-gray color compared to Patriot's regular blue ones. Dalmatians with more than one spot color also really exist (usually with some variety of black and yellow-orange) but the fact Patriot has red spots is complete break from reality. -Patriot's choice of powerful moonshine as the fuel for trucks has a basis in reality. In real life 1940s moonshiners would occasionally make moonshine so powerful you could run a car on it then transport it in their gas tanks; the idea being if the cops caught you all you needed to do was keep up the chase long enough to run out of gas and lose your evidence. Today's Ethanol fuel made from corn is also close to moonshine. American Accents: He has one. Patriot is from North Carolina and while it's mellowed since he doesn't live there anymore he has a very mild southern accent. Given his personality it can lead to people under estimating him. Arbitrary Skepticism: Averted, given how often Grutley seems to become a magnet for the weird and supernatural of late he's started believing it. Badass Driver: Well, for a dog anyway. Patriot is the good guys choice pup when they need a wheelman. Beware the Nice Ones: Patriot is a very nice pup and consider a friend, albeit usually a distant one, by many of the others (Tic-Tac even asked him for help once). That he's more than willing to take the Toby Keith approach of "this big dog will fight if you rattle his cage." Character Development: Patriot used to call Cadpig "runt dog" every time they interacted, he really didn't like her, but he eventually grew out of it. He went from single to dating Penny for a tick but it didn't work and they decided to be just friends. He also could get political occasionally in his earliest fics but thankfully outgrew that fast. - In my earliest fanfics Dipstick was the mechanic pup and Patriot just liked racing. Patriot became the mechanic pup he is today through further development. Combat Pragmatist: Patriot isn't one of the strongest pups so on those rare chances he gets into a fight he'll usually do so with a trick up his sleeve attempting to even the odds. Crippling Overspecialization: How Patriot avoids being a Mary Sue. If the adventure at hand involves cars, trucks, racing, or any variation there of he's the go to pup to give you a major advantage. If it doesn't the others usually leave him on the sidelines. Double Meaning: If Patriot ever refers to being fueled by "Spirit of '76" he's doing this. The "Spirit of '76" is a phrase referencing American patriotism but it's also used to be the marketing slogan of Unocal 76 gasoline, the company that used to supply NASCAR's racing fuel. Given it's Patriot he almost certainly means it both ways. \ The Engineer: He fills this role for the good guys. While he's best with cars he knows how weld and can help in this area. There's a reason Doc turned to him to build K-4.5. Evil Twin: He has one, fittingly named Rebel. Rebel has blue and gray spots and a Confederate theme but similar skills and less morals. Hand Wave: His red, white, and blue look is said to be the result of his breeder experimenting with food dye in his mother's food specifically trying to achieve that look. The Hero: He's a good guy and proud of it. Home Base: Patriot has one in an abandoned gas station on the outskirts of the Dearly property. He stores his trucks in the garage bays that were once used for working on cars. Naturally it's decorated with old NASCAR posters and the like. Improbably Cool Car: The fact he's a dog with these at his disposal puts them both in this category. Specifically he has two fancy Ford trucks and you're in for a "Built Ford Tough" time if he gets to use either one... - The "Canine Crusher," a 1980s-style monster truck. It's slow but so big, strong, and powerful it can really crush your day. - The "Puppy Truck," a 1990s "Baja 1000" style trophy truck, capable of triple digit speeds on almost any solid surface. - He's also got a little blue go-kart for playing around. Long Runner: Patriot debuted in August 2002 making him the longest active fan character...well with an asterisk since Tic-Tac predates but isn't really that active anymore.
Hillbilly Moonshiner/Military Moonshiner: More so filling the role as the guy on the team who knows how to make it. He's not in the Bark Brigade in any high-level capacity and certainly not a hillbilly but Patriot is the pup that has a moonshine still and cooks up a really potent blend of "white lightning" because he uses the alcohol as fuel for his trucks. One hopes no one on the farm actually drinks his "shine," he's warned that probably won't end well -Blown alcohol actually is a fuel of choice for real life monster trucks. Scavenger Punk: Downplayed, Patriot builds his vehicles out of parts salvaged from a local junkyard, he pays off the junkyard dogs at the yard by salvaging parts they need for its customers, but he doesn't fit this trope otherwise. Shout Out: Patriot's fond of making NASCAR or straight up car references whenever he thinks he can get away with it with being an annoyance. - His dog tag has a Ford logo on it. Patriot has incredible loyalty to the brand. - His collar is "Petty Blue," the bright electric sky blue color of NASCAR legend Richard Petty's race cars...and the "Cars" character the King that was voiced by Petty. - Patriot's original home was the fictional "Highway 3 Pets and More" in Kannapolis, North Carolina . Kannapolis, North Carolina is the real life hometown of the late NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt. The highway that runs through the town was renumbered as Highway 3 after his passing in reference to the famous number of his race car. Smarter Than You Look: Between his accent, passion for stock car, and casual moonshining many of those on the farm underestimate him as just a "hick" or a "redneck." Those who do will find themselves in trouble if they end up against him, while he is too specialized for his own good sometimes he's still one of the smarter pups. Strange Friendship: He and Doc have little in common but are portrayed as good friends. -He and Bo have bonded over a mutual love of 1970s car chase flicks. Tag Team: He was a member of the "Heroic Harem" team that formed to counter the Heartbreakers, albeit a minor one, when that was a thing on this board. What Might Have Been: When he was first thought up Patriot was meant to be an overtly patriotic American character. However my first fanfic was a NASCAR-themed one and the Patriot name/design got used for the "Mr. Exposition" race fan pup instead. Probably for the best.

You are correct Race. Here's my list for those who missed it:
Roxy, full name Roxanne Violet Dearly
Aborted Arc - Generally efforts to build onto Roxy's love life fall flat. A notable example is when Roxy started to gain popularity the character of Otis the sealion was created to be a potential mate. However, due to Otis's controversial character status, his degeneration into a Scrappy as well as her creator's eventual dislike of the character, it didn't turn out too well. ** This is justified in that unlike that of her enemy Diana, there's no real way to make Roxy's love life interesting. Accessory Wearing Cartoon Animal – Thanks to Roger, she wears a black collar. Adorkable All-Loving Hero American Accents - Likely Midwestern. Badass Adorable – Thanks to the Main Pups, she can fight women. While she refuses to fight for the sake of it due to her friendly nature, she can kick some Heartbreaker butts if pushed too far. Barefoot Cartoon Animal - Being a feral fox this is expected, but when adapted into the Weiss Kittens continuity she still goes barefoot. A likely explanation is being that her friends, who are a family of anthropomorphized skunks and a cat are all barefoot (the author's rational being skunks don't need shoes), she does too likely to be closer connected to them. Beauty, Brains and Brawn - Of the girls in her Five Pup Band, she is the Brains to LeAnn's Beauty and Tammy's Brawn. Break the Cutie – Often for dramatic purposes. Cartoony Tail - She has a big puffy tail and has quite a bit of pride in it. Catchphrase - "Everyone could use a little more sweet!" Conveniently An Orphan – Her folks are toast. Cunning Like A Fox – She is a fox, after all. The Cutie Disco Dana Does Not Like Shoes - If asked to wear a pair of shoes or sandals, her likely response is: ** (shows sole) "And cover these beauties? (toe waves) I like you. You're silly." Does This Remind You Of Anything? - Main body is red, underbody is white, eyes are blue. And... are those stars in her eyes? The Empath – She is sensitive to others’ feelings. Everyone Has Standards - As much as she loves to make others happy, she will not help in an affair. Also does not like diapers or gore-related fetishes and has no interest in other girls. Everything’s Cuter With Foxes Evil Twin - Heartbreaker beast Reck started out as Roxy from an alternate universe but evolved into her own character and now is everything she isn't. First Installment Wins - She is Trey_Vore's oldest character and easily the most popular non-dog OC. Fragile Speedster - She is indeed a fast runner if a bit of a Glass Cannon. This does work to her advantage though as it reminds people that despite having a lot of boy interests, she is indeed female. Friend To All Living Things Gamer Girl - She likes to play video games. A T-rating is the highest she'll go. The Glomp - Really, really seems to like boys. The Hero - She is The Hero of her Five Pup Band. Hot-Blooded Humanlike Foot Anatomy - Extends to Trey_Vore's OCs in general, but Roxy's notable for this in that she has been drawn with the ability to cross her legs. I Just Want To Be Loved – Roxy seems desperate for friends even though everyone seems to like her. Ms. Fanservice – And how! Nice Girl – Sweet and friendly, loves to have fun. She is a legitimately kind-hearted character. Nice, Mean and In-Between – She is the Nice to Tammy’s Mean and LeAnn’s In-Between. One Of The Boys - Has lots of male interests, and may have become a Tomboy because she had a close bond with her father. As a result she likes to participate in boys' activities. Red Oni, Blue Oni - She's most certainly a Red Oni. The other girls pretty much have to be Blue Onis to balance it. Ridiculously Cute Critter - And proud of it. The Rival – Diana and her Evil Twin Reck hate her guts. The Eighties – Oh yes. She is an 80s junkie. Tomboy and Girly Girl – Having several boy-minded interests makes her a Tomboy to LeAnn as a Girly Girl. Trademark Favorite Food - Cheese pizza, watermelons, oranges and eggs. Also really likes chicken. Windows To The Soul - Her eyes are very expressive. Word of God - According to her creator, imagine if you were to combine Fifi La Fume of Tiny Toon Adventures and Krystal of the Star Fox video game series and you will have a idea of her character.

I will have to wrack my brain for this because I have so many characters, and there are so many different tropes out there!

Here's one for Kappa, the turncoat corgi character who first appeared in London Calling...
Canine Alien: Kappa is a Skayninian dog, just like the villainous Epsilon and the like, meaning he actually does look like a normal dog but his internal biology is different including eye beams with the power to turn humans into dogs permanently and a sturdier build that means he can shrug off attacks that would badly hurt normal Earth dogs. He's too kindhearted to really use either of those though, he'd rather just lounge around the farm and herd sheep or cattle if the chance arises. Too Happy to Live: A non-fatal version with his Skayninian human family, they aren't dead but they are permanently dogs after the others forced him to devolve them. He had a very happy life in the country with a loving family and "a nice yard to run in" before he lost it. Action Survivor: He was a happy family pet and has been through heck and exile because of Epsilon and his like. He just wants to mellow out on the farm now. As Long as It Sounds Foreign: His name, like all the Skayninians, is a Greek letter. Baleful Polymorph: As mentioned he has the permanent dog transformation power. Since he's a good guy it's highly unlikely a scenario would arise in which he would use it. - He has used this in the past but as said it wasn't voluntarily and brings up bad memories. He switched sides to prevent seeing more humans meet that fate. Conscription: His enrollment on Epsilons's side back on Skaynania wasn't exactly voluntary. From Bad to Worse: After being forced to take part in the uprising he got exiled from his home world as a collaborator when said revolution failed. I Just Want to Be Normal: He just wants a normal dog life with kibble, fetch, the tug rope, farm dog herding, and the occasional belly rub or ear scratch. It's All My Fault: How he feels about what happened on Skayninia. He didn't take it seriously and lost his family because of it. Heel Face Turn: He starts out working for Epsilon but after years of mistreatment switches sides to join the Dearlys when he sees a chance to get out. -Sixth Ranger Traitor: He's the only one of Epsilon's flunkies to switch sides. -Face Hell Turn: An enforced trope. The other dogs forced him to betray his original human family and join them. He always regretted it. Orange/Blue Contrast / Teal and Orange Scheme: A living example, he's an orange and white dog that wears a teal collar. Real After All: When he heard rumors of Skayninia's canine uprising he wrote them off as a joke until it was too late to do anything to stop it. Ridiculously Cute Critter: The only Pembroke Corgi pup in the farm's current lineup. Sixth Ranger: Moved in with the pups in Grutley after "London Calling." Shout Out: Debuted in a fic set in London and he's a corgi, natch its intended as a subtle reference to Queen Elizabeth II's love of the breed. He's even an orange Pembroke Welsh Corgi like those she preferred as opposed to the black-and-white Cardigan Corgis. -In a trailer for a fic that wasn't written he watched the original animated G.I. Joe movie and said his favorite character was Mercer. Mercer is the G.I. Joe who was a bad guy Cobra Viper before he too made a Heel Face Turn and joined the good guys. Token Heroic Orc: The "Good Guy Skayninian Dog." - When dealing with the Skayninians Kappa is the pup the others turn to for information about them. Unexpected Character: In-universe, when Epsilon called for reinforcements he never expected that Kappa would be among the ones to answer the call to action. When he switches sides Epsilon shrugs it off since he never thought much of him anyway for that reason. -Kappa's implied to have done the absolute bare minimum to get by on Epsilon's side during their time together. It's easy to see why he was hardly saddened by the loss. What Could Have Been: His decision to switch sides was planned for a sequel fic to London Calling. When everyone saw it coming a mile away anyway it was moved up and he switches at the climax.

Now that I have a bit of time to myself (Amazon bumped up my hours), I decided to go and do some of my other characters. I'll start with the heroes:
Sanka
80's Hair Badass Normal Bash Brothers - With Orville. Black Best Friend - He's this to Roxy. If the Heartbreakers give her grief, he's her closest confident. Cool Shades Dance Battler - Does Capoeria. Everything's Funkier with Rastafarians Expy - In Roxy's Five Pup Band, if Roxy is to be seen as an Optimus Prime/Bumblebee mix, then he is Jazz. Fun Personified Jive Turkey - His Jamaican twang. The Lancer - He's this in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Nice Guy Nice, Mean, and In-between - He's the Nice one to Yuri's Mean and Orville's In-between. Overshadowed By Awesome - Planned to be Roxy's co-star, but being that everyone seems to truly adore Roxy, this happened. Red Oni, Blue Oni - A Red Oni in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Soul Brotha The Rival - He's got a rivalry with Dakota. Trademark Favorite Food - Seems to love spicy stuff.
Yuri
Anti-Hero - Ostenibly a loner, but more than willing to help the heroes in the event of Heartbreaker attacks. Dirty Communist - He's still flying his Soviet flag. Expy - In Roxy's Five Pup Band, if Roxy is to be seen as an Optimus Prime/Bumblebee mix, then he is Ironhide. Face of a Thug - The biggest and most easy to mistake ally in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Genius Bruiser - The smartest member in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Easily the biggest too, though Snowy comes close. Husky Russkie Mighty Glacier Nice, Mean, and In-between - He's the Mean one to Sanka's Nice and Orville's In-between. Red Oni, Blue Oni - A Blue Oni in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Russian Guy Suffers Most - He can take a royal beating, but boy does he usually absorb a lot of damage. The Rival - Detests the Heartbreakers. He'd probably kill Diana if given the chance. The Stoic - Cold as ice normally, unless angry. Justified in that in Russia it's considered to be taboo if you smile for no reason. ** Want to make him smile? Have Diana or Reck in a position of weakness or suffering heavily! Wearing a Flag on your Head - His design is an influence.
Orville
Badass Bash Brothers - With Sanka. The Big Guy - He's this in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Challenge Seeker The Determinator - Justified in that skunks are virtually fearless. Expy - In Roxy's Five Pup Band, if Roxy is to be seen as an Optimus Prime/Bumblebee mix, then he is Brawn. I Owe You My Life - After being saved by the Main Pups plus Roxy and Sanka, he's a reliable ally and will fight Heartbreaker threats to his last breath. He will charge in blazing for nothing more than love! Interspecies Romance - He's a skunk, romantically involved with a fox. Kryptonite Factor - He's hardcore and proud of it, but seeing a girl sad/crying will suddenly make him humble. Made of Iron Meaningful Name - His name means "Golden City" in French. The Napoleon Nice, Mean, and In-between - He's the In-between one to Sanka's Nice and Yuri's Mean. Nigh-Invulnerability Pint-Sized Powerhouse - Trey_Vore's smallest OC, but strong as a bull. Rated M For Manly - He'll even go to deliver it with a peck to bicep! Red Oni, Blue Oni - A Red Oni in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Smelly Skunk - He is a skunk, after all. The Rival - He'll target Reck. Dangerous as it might be, he can at least handle her.
LeAnn
Beauty, Brains and Brawn - She's the Beauty to Roxy's Brains and Tammy's Brawn. The Chick - She's this in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Characterization Marches On - Originally did not have much of a character early in her genesis, but as time went on she became a journalist/news reporter as it was a slot not previously filled. Expy - The only member of Roxy's Five Pup Band to not have a Transformers parallel. At a stretch you can say Blazemaster of the second live-action film, but closer to being an answer to April O'Neil of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Going for the Big Scoop Intrepid Reporter - And loves her microphone. Nice, Mean and In-between - She's the In-between one to Roxy's Nice and Tammy's Mean. Phobia - She is aquaphobic. Red Oni, Blue Oni - A Blue Oni in Roxy's Five Pup Band. The Rival - Being that Diana and Reck are rivals to Roxy, she has one with Ophelia.
Tammy
Beauty, Brains and Brawn - She's the Brawn to Roxy's Brains and LeAnn's Beauty. Book Dumb - She is likely the least intelligent member in Roxy's Five Pup Band. Snowy is too feral to really count. Brooklyn Rage - She's originally a Brooklyn chick. Deadpan Snarker Expy - In Roxy's Five Pup Band, if Roxy is to be seen as an Optimus Prime/Bumblebee mix, then she is Jetfire. Bonus points go to the fact that she and Ophelia are former friends. Heel-Face Turn - She's an ex-Heartbreaker turned Hero. Jerk with a Heart of Gold - She does care, she just doesn't like to look like a wimp. Nice, Mean and In-between - She's the Mean one to Roxy's Nice and LeAnn's In-between. Red Oni, Blue Oni - Originally a Blue Oni to Ophelia, now in Roxy's Five Pup Band. The Sixth Ranger - She's this in Roxy's Five Pup Band, a villainous Heartbreaker turned virtuous heroine. Take That - Originally her creator did not plan to have any more characters after Diana's creation, but Tammy more or less came about after pressured to make a mate for an OC that became recognized as a Scrappy. Ophelia's originally planned death reflects this attitude. Trademark Favorite Food - She loves bagels. And cream cheese. Brooklyn-style pizza is another big one.
Snowy
Distracted by the Shiny - She loves small things that are cute. Dumb Muscle Evil Twin - Subverted in that created as a heroes' answer to the Heartbreakers' Reck. She's a rare "good twin". Expy - In Roxy's Five Pup Band, if Roxy is to be seen as an Optimus Prime/Bumblebee mix, then she is Superion. Interspecies Romance - She's a fox, romantically involved with a skunk. Meaningful Name - She's cold on the outside. Mighty Glacier Red Oni, Blue Oni - Quite literally, a Blue Oni to Roxy's Red Oni. Also to Orville, her lover. The Rival - Limited thought process that she has, she usually just targets Reck. The Stoic Team Pet - Of Trey_Vore's OCs, she is the most feral.

I do not think that is what “Adaptational Villainy” is, in the case of Yuri, Trey! “Adaptational Villainy” is when a Character, who is Heroic or, at least, Neutral in the Source Material, turns in to an Antagonist, in an Adaptation!
Case in point; Kaa is a Protagonist in the “Jungle Book” “Novel”, but an Antagonist in the Disney Adaptations. Or, how King Stefan in “Maleficent” is more an Antagonist than he is in “Sleeping Beauty”!
I think a more appropiate Trope for that would be an “Anti-Hero”? Do you think that sounds correct, Trey!?
