Here is a fanfic a friend of mine requested me to write for her birthday. I figured since it’s a 101 Dalmatian Street fanfic, why not share it here too?

One day at 101 Dalmatian Street, something special was going on. The Dalmatian family was preparing for a big party. It was Doug’s birthday. All the pups were working hard to make this birthday party super special for their dad.
Dylan was walking around with his clip board making sure everything was going according to plan. “Okay, DJ,” he said. “Is the music all set up?”
“All ready to go, Dylan!” said DJ.
“Da Vinci, how are the decorations coming along?” Dylan asked.
“They’re as beautiful as I would ever make them, Dylan,” responded Da Vinci.
“Do you have all the bones ready, Diesel?” Dylan asked but got no response. “Diesel?”
Diesel popped up from underground. “I dug up lots of bones!” he said and then went back to digging.
“Perfect,” said Dylan. “I want this birthday party for Dad to be absolutely perfect.”
Just then, Dolly zoomed past Dylan on her skateboard. “Bow Wacka Wow!” she shouted.
“Dolly, this is no time to be fooling around!” yelled Dylan.
“Ah, chill out, bro!” said Dolly. “It’s a party! Lighten up and have fun!”
At that moment, Dizzy and Dee Dee came in.
“I got the kibble like you wanted, Dolly,” said Dizzy.
“And I got the gravy,” said Dee Dee.
“Awesome,” said Dolly. “Now, let’s make the greatest kibble and gravy cake in the world!”
“Thanks for having me over, Dolly,” said Roxy. “I’m more than happy to help with this.” Her stomach growled. “Although the smell of those cake ingredients is sure putting my belly a bit on the rumbly side,” she blushed.
At that moment, Delilah walked in the door. “I’m home,” she said.
The pups stampeded over to Delilah and dog piled on top of her. She laughed and pulled herself out of the pile.
“Welcome home, Mom,” said Dolly.
“Dad’s not back yet, is he?” asked Dylan.
“Not yet,” said Delilah. “I got off work early so that I can help you pups put this party together.”
“Perfect,” said Dylan. “You can start by helping me hang up these decorations.”
“I would be delighted,” said Delilah.
Delilah lifted Dylan onto her shoulders allowing him to hang the decorations up high on the walls.
“That is so adorable the way you help your son, Mrs. Dalmatian,” said Roxy.
“Why thank you, Roxy,” said Delilah. “I’ve been carrying Dylan on my shoulders ever since he was a wee pup, so of course he’s easy for me to carry.”
“Heck, I’ve seen you carry Dad on your shoulders!” said Dolly.
“Well, she is a trained nurse,” said Dylan, “so she’s gotta be strong.”
The dogs continued to work until everything was ready.
“Alright! Good job, everyone!” said Dolly.
“Dawkins, how are we doing on time?” asked Dylan.
Dawkins looked out through a periscope. He could see Doug approaching. “Father is coming!” he shouted.
“Places, everyone!” Dylan called out, and everyone got into a hiding place.
Doug walked up to the front door and opened it up. As soon as he walked inside, all the Dalmatians jumped out of their hiding places and yelled, “SURPRISE!”
Doug was delightfully surprised at this birthday party his family threw for him. “You pups did all this for me?” he asked.
“We certainly did,” said Dolly.
“Happy Birthday, Dad!” said Dylan.
“You have made me the happiest dog in the world!” Doug said getting teary-eyed.
Roxy then wheeled out the cake that she made with Dolly, Dizzy and Dee Dee.
“A kibble and gravy cake?” Doug gasped. “My absolute favorite!”
Doug and his family all had some of the cake. They loved it so much.
After they finished the cake, DJ started up some music. It was time for a dance party. DJ started by playing a slow song for Doug to dance with Delilah to. Afterwards, he played an upbeat song where the pups all took turns dancing with Doug.
Seeing the tiny pups dance with the large Doug, Dolly came up with an idea to surprise her dad. She got a hold of Roxy and took her into a closet. She climbed onto Roxy’s shoulders and slipped on a long, blue, button-down-the-front dress. Though once she got on top of Roxy, the two of them were off to a clumsy start.
“Careful, Dolly,” Roxy said. “Hey, watch it! I’m gonna…”
But Dolly managed to calm her down and keep her steady. Roxy sighed of relief as Dolly buttoned up the coat. Roxy then started walking out to the dance floor with Dolly snapping her paws to the beat of the music. Roxy peeked her head out briefly and smiled as she danced out to the dance floor to the beat of the music. She hid again when they approached Doug.
When Doug set eyes on Dolly and Roxy in the coat, he was surprised with humor seeing that her daughter made herself as tall as him to dance with him. Other pups laughed.
“Hey there, birthday boy,” said Dolly. “Shall I have this dance?” She bowed, but then started to fall off Roxy, but Roxy grabbed Dolly and pulled her back up just in time.
Doug laughed and took Dolly’s paw. The trio started dancing. Doug and Dolly were having the time of their lives. Roxy peeked out of the dress to make sure her footing was on par with Doug’s.
Doug then started spinning Dolly and Roxy around, which was awkward for the two girls. After that, they did the Russian dance with each other.
After dancing with Doug for a bit, Doug decided to let the girls dance solo. Roxy kept moving her feet with Dolly doing upper-body dancing along with her. The rest of the dogs clapped, laughed, and cheered the girls on.
Dolly got so into the dancing, but her time to shine was all of a sudden brought to an immediate halt when Roxy felt a tickle in her nose irritating her allergies.
“Hachee…Hajoooo…Hajija-Haeee…Oooh…Achee…Ahh…Ooh…”
Dolly was caught off guard when she heard Roxy’s jibberish with an “Uh-oh” look on her face. She opened up the dress to check on Roxy and could tell she was seriously building up for a Godzilla of a sneeze! She quickly closed it back up with a distraught look on her face.
“SHE’S GONNA BLOW!!!!!” yelled Dante, and everyone ran for cover as Roxy’s jibberish intensified leaving poor Dolly defenseless on top of her sneezy friend.
“Hajijeebewabawoo…Hajijiji…Hachiwo…Hachichichi…Hachuu…Ay-Ay-Ay…AHHHHHHHH…ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
Roxy’s sneeze was so massive that it inflated the dress into a massive balloon. The air pressure forced Dolly to eject out of the dress like a rocket and launch up into the rafters of the house. The dress swiveled back down to the ground revealing Roxy with a coy look on her face.
Everyone came out of their hiding places and erupted with laughter. They looked up and saw Dolly hanging out on the rafters. “I’m okay, guys!” she said before jumping back down to the floor.
As soon as everyone finally stopped laughing, Doug said, “That was so much fun!”
“Yeah, but it’s a shame Roxy had to ruin my dance with you,” said Dolly.
“Well, let’s be honest,” said Dylan. “With all the antics you pull, you kinda deserved it. Admit it, sis; you had it coming.”
“It would have been way more satisfying to me if she did it to you, Dylan,” said Dolly.
“Well, I normally don’t sneeze that big,” said Roxy. “I guess Dylan got lucky that time he did the coat thing with me.”
“Thank you all so much for the wonderful birthday surprise,” said Doug. “You are the best family any Dalmatian could ask for!”
With all that said, everyone gathered for a group hug.
