NOTE: I do not own 101 Dalmatians, Disney does.
Hi guys, so as I have stated in my movie fanfic that I have been writing, it is shown for 101 Dalmatians: The Series to be distributed by Good Times Home Video.
Which is actually prone to be in good fit as they would actually improve and fix all of the well known animation errors known to have happened in the series
So Here is how the series would go upon distribution by Good Times Entertainment compared to Buena Vista
The Series in General:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Cruella has some weird gag of calling Roger other names beginning with R
Good Times Distribution: Cruella calls him Roger the whole series.
Good Times would know that nobody would find any humor in this whatsoever as it dosen't seem to bother Roger even the least bit as much as it does with her trying to steal the farm.
The mystery of Jewel
Buena Vistas Version: She is seen in all episodes where background pups appear in without any recognition whatsoever in eye witness
Good Times Version: In the episodes where background pups appear, they made one puppy have a spotted necklace like collar attached to her fur to reveal that the said particular pup is recognized by fans to be none other than Jewel, who never says anything throughout the series.
Cruella's eyelids
Buena Vistas Distribution: Blue eyelids
Good Times Distribution: No color on eyelids
"Home is Where the Bark is"
Buena Vistas Distribution: When the bus takes off to move to the Dearly Farm, Lucky's Collar flashes into blue for a split second and then goes back to red.
Good Times Distribution: When the bus takes off to the Dearly Farm, Lucky's collar color flash error is fixed and stays red.
Scene with The Colonel and Sergeant Tibbs Buena Vistas Distribution: Sergeant Tibbs voice sounds more female like
Good Times Distribution: Scene was redone and Tibbs was voiced by his usual VA Jeff Bennett because Tibbs is not a female cat
Scene where Cruella first greets the Dearlys at their new home:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Cruella congratulates Roger and Anita with a cake from some donut shop in Gruetley saying "Happy Bar Mitzvah Howard" then Cruella throws the cake over to Rolly in the event of him gobbling it up via his appetite.
Good Times Distribution: Cruella congratulates Roger and Anita with a Bag of Kanine Krunchie Bars from some pet store in Gruetley with the bag saying "Congratulations Bar Mitzvah Howard" and then Cruella tosses the bag over and then Rolly gobbles them all up via his appetite.
This is done knowing the fact that chocolate is toxic for dogs to eat.
Rogers line in BV's version: Happy Bar Mitzvah Howard?
Rogers line in GT's version: Congratulations Bar Mitzvah Howard?
Cruella's line in BV's version: Well its all they had at that Donut Shop over in Gruetley. Memo to myself: Fire everyone at that Donut Shop
Cruella's line in GT's version: Well its all they had over at that filthy pet store over in Gruetley. Memo to myself: Fire everyone in that Pet Store.
Scene when Cruella writes the Dearlys a check:
Buena Vistas Version: Cruella's check in this episode compared to "Humanitarian of the Year" has come parts written in cursive squiggly lines
Good Times Version: Cruella's Check in this episode is written exactly how it is in "Humanitarian of the year"
When the pups try to enter the brownstone before Cruella sneaks up on them
Buena Vistas Distribution: The Dearlys old Brownstone is sealed
Good Times Distribution: The Dearlys old Brownstone is unsealed
When the gang is sitting in front of the fireplace at the Brownstone When Cadpig's states "I still miss my friends"
Beuna Vistas Distribution: Her nose turns white for a split second before going back to black
Good Times Distribution: Her nose stays black.
When the puppies are trying to get into the chimney
Buena Vistas Distribution: The whites of Rolly's eyes are blue like Lucky's. Then Cadpig jumps on his head and they turn white again.
Good Times Distribution: Rolly's eyes stay white.
When Lucky looks over to the family which is apparently the same family from Lady and the Tramp, and the part when he says "I've got an idea"
Buena Vistas Distribution: He has his collar on when Cruella supposedly has ripped the collars off
Good Times Distribution: His collar is removed like its supposed to be at these moments.
Cruella's car spedometer
Buena Vistas Distribution: Maxes out to 101
Good Times Distribution: Maxes out to 220
When the Dalmatians cover up the Thresher
Buena Vistas Distribution: One Pup resembles Snoopy from the Peanuts Comics and his two supposed comics. Two appear to be conjoined
Good Times Distribution: Pups are remodled and appear more like the real Dalmatians, as well as the ones who were conjoined are now seperated.
Good Times would not allow clones of any character from other franchises that already exist.
When the pups are on top of the subway train underground:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Aladdin, Genie, Mowgli (from Jungle Book) Cinderella, Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck are seen riding inside the train
Good Times Distribution: Normal people are seen riding inside the train.
Episode ban: One of the most famous improvements
Buena Vista: Apparently in their minds they thought in light of the fact that there was a plane crash taking place, they thought it was too big an uncanny resemblance to the events of 9/11 when really Spot's plane didn't even knock over the Dearly Farm's windmill. They thus had the episode virtually banned on broadcast for nearly twenty years
Good Times: These people would discuss to them that maybe they look deeper into this work and take a closer look at that collision and see if anything at all this entire episode resembles something from the event. Disney was convinced thereafter and thus kept the episode along with its sister episode "Prima Doggy" on air.
Frisky Business:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Spot: Hello? Anybody Home, Stiffle is miles away
Good Times Distribution: Spot: Hello? Anybody home, Stiffle is blocks away
Love Em and Flea Em
When Dipstick spits in Mooch's face by accident
Buena Vistas Distribution: Whizzer's collar is blue
Good Times Distribution: Whizzer's collar is red
When Lucky gets thrown out of the gopher hole form the skunk and lands flat on his belly with his feet up in the air with the odor generated into him:
Buena Vistas Version: Lucky's horseshoe spots are missing
Good Times Version: Lucky's horseshoe spots are shown.
Another one of the most famous improvements-
When Lucky and Two-Tone are getting ready to go inside the barn for the dance and Mooch blows the flour off of Lucky revealing his pink color:
Buena Vistas Distribution:
Two-Tone: I think you are cool in any color
Lucky: Really?
Two-Tone: Yeah.
Lucky: Cheer up, Mooch. You look so blue
Mooch: *growing red in anger and steam coming out from his ears*
*Two-Tone and Lucky then nuzzle each other within officially becoming a pair and falling in love*
Good Times Distribution:
Two-Tone: I think you are cool in any color
Lucky: *Not hiding in a Jack-O-Lantern but instead just shivering in embarassment from Mooch revealing his pink color, then relieved Two-Tone actually likes it* *after Two-Tone makes her statement, Lucky uncovers himself from his paws* Really?
Two-Tone: *gives Lucky a peck on his cheek* Yeah!
Lucky: Aww, Two-Tone, and I must say. You look even more beautiful with that earring on!
Mooch: What? Wha di-*Mooch then becomes speechless and moves his mouth in jibberishing action while shedding a tear in anger*
Lucky: So shall we grrrrrrrrroomba it out, dear one?
Two-Tone: After I do one last thing. *In a surprise attack, punches Mooch out*
Mooch: *Becomes unconscious with dog fairies spinning around his head in pain and then passes out the rest of the night*
*Two-Tone and Lucky then nuzzle each other within officially becoming a pair and falling in love*
Howl Noon
Near the end of the episode
Buena Vistas Distribution: Lucky's collar turns blue and remains so for about 15-20 seconds before turning back to his usual red
Good Times Distribution: Lucky's collar remains red.
When Rolly asks Pug "Whose Persian Pete?"
Buena Vista Distribution: Rolly's collar is red.
Good Times Distribution: Rolly's collar is blue.
During Lt. Pug's confrontation with Persian Pete
Buena Vista Distribution: The scene is displayed in a letterbox style (black bars at the top and bottom of the screen)
Good Times Distribution: The scene stays full screen.
Two for the Show:
When we see Cruella watching Squeal of Fortune
Buena Vistas Distribution: The pig in the game show is shown to be blue
Good Times Distribution: The pig in the game show remains pink just like it was when the pups were watching it
When Cruella discusses her idea of promoting pet wear
BV's Version: Cruella picks up Scorch, Vandella, and then some cat whom just runs away
GT's Version: Cruella picks up Scorch and Vandella only as the other cat had no purpose whatsoever to be there.
When Cruella grabs Vandella after Steven the alligator ate her tail
Buena Vistas Version: Vandella's tail is still there but her fur isn't
Good Times Version: Vandella's tail is shown to be ripped off her rear.
When, Lucky says "I owe you guys an apology..."
Buena Vistas Version: Cadpigs right ear has been inverted, Showing the pink to be outside her ear instead of inside.
Good Times Version: Cadpigs right ear has been reverted, showing her white fur coated side of the ear like it should be
An Officer and the Gentledog
During Lt. Pug's talk with the pups in the "Take one step forward" scene
Buena Vistas Distribution: Whizzer and Dipstick's collars are the wrong color; Whizzer's is blue rather than red, and vice versa for Dipstick
Good Times Distribution: Whizzer and Dipsticks's collar are switched back to their correct color the way they are supposed to be.
In the scene when Lieutenant Pug orders his cadets to Fall in:
Buena Vistas Distribution: In this scene we see some pup in the back next to Cadpig whom some suppose to be Penny who was technically supposed to be a main character in the show. She disappears in the middle of the scene but appears again when the pups are in line in a zoom out view in the scene when Pug orders his cadets to take one step forward. Yet, she disappears again during Lt. Pug's talk with the pups in the "Take one step forward" scene
Good Times Distribution: In this scene the pup in the back next to Cadpig is removed as the said pup supposedly disappears for some brief moments after appearance with no purpose to be there in the beginning whatsoever
He Followed me Home
Scene where we notice Jimbo sucking up the haystacks that the Dalmatians are sleeping on:
Buena Vistas Version: We notice some fat pup down below whom looks to be supposedly Patch except miscolored and mismodeled
Good Times Version: We notice the said pup down below IS Patch and is correctly colored and modeled with his right eye supposedly patched in black
Bad to the Bone-Another one of the biggest improvements in the show
Two-Tone in Mooch's gang?
Buena Vistas Distribution: In spite of her facial expressions and saying no lines at all, Two-Tone is seen to be in Mooch's gang though in no action whatsoever to be bullying anybody at all.
Good Times Distribution: Because Two-Tone has no action and lines whatsoever in perspective purpose, Two-Tone is completely eliminated out from Mooch's gang and instead is seen only once in the scene where the pups in the background snarl at Rolly's confession where another redacted portion comes about
Scene where the pups snarl at Rolly's confession:
Beuna Vistas Version: While we see the gang and pups in the background all angry at Rolly for turning into someone he is not, all pups except for the gang are all Rolly clones
Good Times Version: While we see the gang and pups in the background all angry at Rolly for turning into someone he is not, all pups in the background aside from the gang are remodeled into the actual Dalmatian characters including Two-Tone in the background whom is also supposedly mad at Rolly too.
In the beginning of the episode:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Rolly's spot on his back is not colored in
Good Times Distribution: Rolly's spot on his back in colored in black.
Southern Fried Cruella
In the scene where we zoom into far perspective with Roger packing up the Dearlys car for their vacation:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Pongo's ears are white.
Good Times Distribution: Pongo's ears are black.
This entire episode:
Buena Vistas Version: Horace and Jasper's attire is dark grey.
Good Times Version: Horace and Jasper's attire is their normal colors.
Kennels in Gruetley:
Nanny's line in BVs Version: Hello? Gruetley Kennel, I need to board ninety-nine puppies over-night *clicks* Hello? Ugh! *walks over to a phone booth to look for more kennels in Gruetley* I'll call every kennel in Gruetley til' I find one. *sees that's all the Kennels Gruetley had* Oh, that WAS every kennel.
Nanny's line in GTs version: *calling several kennels around town* Hello? I need to board ninety-nine puppies over night? *clicks* Hello? Ugh! *calling another kennel* Hello, I'm interested in boarding some puppies, just ninety-nine t be exact. *click* *groans in anger* *calling another kennel* How many, oh well we can just count them up when we get there *clicks* Ugh! All kennels seem to be all booked up.
Considering how big Gruetley is, supposedly every city that big should have more than one kennel around its city limits.
Swine Song
Scene when the pups try to confront Dumpling to try and explain Rolly when Spot says, "He was just trying"
Buena Vistas Distribution: Dumpling is in Ed Pig's model colored in pink with a blue bow on top of her head.
Good Times Distribution: Dumpling is in her normal character model.
Citizen Canine
When Mayor Pig states saying "bacon" is a disrespect for the law:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Patch's patch is not colored in
Good Times Distribution: Patch's patch is colored in.
Driving Truck's company title
BVs Version: Dairy
GTs Version: Pet Food
The can of food that falls out of the driving truck towards the pups, and then running in towards the barn which Mayor Pig forbids the pups to eat at the beginning and then allows a box of said food to eat toward the end of the episode:
Buena Vistas Version: A can/box of Chocolate Ice Cream
Good Times Version: A can/box of Special Kibble
This is again done in light of the fact that chocolate is toxic for dogs to eat
When Lucky is hit by the supposed can of special Kibble instead of Chocolate Ice Cream:
Buena Vistas Distribution: His collar is blue.
Good Times Distribution: His collar is red.
Lucky's beginning line as he is alone on the road:
BV: Man, is it hot? What I wouldn't do for a big ol' bucket of Ice Cream?
GT: Man, am I starving? What I wouldn't do for a big ol' bucket of Kibble right now?
Lucky's line as he is running up above the rolling can:
In Buena Vista's Version: Well, what do you know? A big ol' bucket of Ice Cream! Cool!
In Good Time's Version: Well, what do you know? A big ol' bucket of special Kibble! Cool!
Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot's lines before they join Lucky in being run over by the rolling can:
BV: Spot-I'm hot. Rolly: I'm hungry. Cadpig: Let's all think ice cream. *all get run over by the rolling can* All: Woah, Ice Cream!!
GT: Spot: I'm starving. Rolly: I'm hungry. Cadpig: Let's all think Kibble. *all get run over by the rolling can* All: Woah, Kibble!!
The pups lines after they crash into the barn with the rolling can and encounter inside:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Cadpig-It's beautiful. Spot: It's awesome. Rolly: It's double caramel triple mint marshmallow chip. Lucky: It's ours.
Good Times Distribution: Cadpig-It's beautiful. Spot: It's awesome. Rolly: It's Kibble like I've never seen it before. Lucky: It's ours.
When Lucky tries to explain to Mayor Pig about the food:
Lucky's line and Mayor Pig's action in Buena Vista's Version: I'm sure its fine. And its full of double caramel triple mint marshmallow- Mayor Pig: *Cuts Lucky off by suddenly gobbling all the Ice Cream from the can* Lucky: *finishing his sentence* chip. Mayor Pig: *burps it out* Yep! Check's out!
Lucky's line and Mayor Pig's action in Good Time's Version: I'm sure its fine. Besides, it's a special kind of Kibble that we've never even tried- Mayor Pig: *Cuts Lucky off by suddenly snagging the can of Kibble away in a bag and then tossing it out* Lucky: *finishing his sentence* before. Mayor Pig: Yep! Check's out!
When Lucky snarls at Mayor Pig for snagging away the pups food they found:
Lucky's line in Buena Vista:
Lucky: Wait a second, Mayor Pig, that Ice Cream was ours! We're the ones that found it!
Lucky's line in Good Times:
Lucky: Wait a second, Mayor Pig, that Kibble was ours! We're the ones that found it!
Jim Cumming's jibberish line:
Mayor Pig's way of saying this line in Buena Vista's Distribution-
Mayor Pig: *Directing to Lucky* If you run again me.
Mayor Pig's way of saying this line in Good Time's Distribution-
Mayor Pig: *Directing to Lucky* If you run against me.
Good Times took notice of this and thus Jim Cumming's was directed to redo his voice-over in this part.
When Lucky is watching Nanny milking the cow:
Buena Vistas Distribution: Said cow is in Duchess' appearance colored like Princess
Good Times Distribution: Said cow is in Duchess' correct colored appearance
When Tripod asks Lucky about the televisions that he promises:
Buena Vista's Version: The pup on the far right is Patch mismodeled and colored
Good Time's Version: The pup on the far right is Patch remodeled and colored in his correct appearance.
Scene where when Patch passes Lucky & Rolly saying "Mayor Pig is giving away free bones!"
BV: His patch position is mirrored, and so are his ears. His patch is on his left eye, while his right ear is black and left ear white.
GT: His patch position and ear colors are reverted. His patch is on his right eye, while his right ear is white and left ear white
Scene where a Dalmatian pup picks up a bone from Mayor Pig:
Buena Vista's Version: Dog is wearing a red collar, and then turns blue when he passes Ed Pig.
Good Time's Version: Dog's collar stays red as he is passing Ed Pig.
Scene where Rolly states that he hopes that next year that he would be the ballot box:
Buena Vista's Version: Lucky's eyes are whitened.
Good Time's Version: Lucky's eyes are blued in.
Before the pups come up to Mayor Pig after Lucky wins against him:
BV: Mayor Pig's Blue is darkened just a tad.
GT: Mayor Pig's Blue is faded back out to his proper blue color.
Another big improvement-
Two-Tone in Mooch's gang?
Buena Vista's Version: Again, in spite of her facial expressions and saying no lines at all, Two-Tone is seen to be in Mooch's gang in the hen house though in no action whatsoever to be bullying anybody at all, which brings to the confusion considering how many eggs were thrown at Lucky of everyone in the gang did it or just Mooch
Good Time's Version: Because Two-Tone has no action and lines whatsoever in perspective purpose, Two-Tone is not in play inside the hen house with Mooch's gang.
When Cornelia and the chickens get kicked out of the hen house:
Lines in Buena Vista's Distribution:
Cornelia: It's Mooch. He said you said he could move into the hen house. What's that all about?
Lucky: *nervous* Uh, well, as Mayor, I'm turning this matter over to my vice vice vice Mayor of poultry politics. Heh.....Spot?
Spot: Don't look at me. This is between you and Mooch.
Lucky: *gulps*
Lines in Good Time's Distribution:
Cornelia: It's Mooch. He said you said he could move into the hen house. What's that all about?
Lucky: Huh? I didn't say that!
Cornelia: You did too! That's literally what he said once he and a couple of your other no good spotted pups come in and bash our feather butts out of there!
Lucky: Cornelia, Who are you going to believe? Me or some 'baddies' you say? I'm the new Mayor, not him! Besides Mooch is really supposed to be helping me plan out a new model on a bigger hen house to build for you, Spot, and all the other chickens at this farm.......Spot?
Spot: Don't look at me. This is between you and Mooch.
Lucky: *gulps*
Lines when Lucky encounters Mooch and his gang inside the coup:
In Buena Vista's Version:
Mooch: Heh heh heh heh *tossing up an egg on his paw*
Lucky: *gulps* What do you think you are doing, Mooch? Who said you could move into the hen house?
Mooch: You did.
Lucky: Me?
Mooch: Yeah, when you threw out all of Ed Pig's laws, one of them said only hens can live in the hen house. Well now, I'M moving in.
Lucky: Then, I'm declaring it the law that only hens can live in the hen house
Hens in the background: *cluck cheers them on in Lucky's defense*
Mooch: But you promised!
Lucky: I don't care what I promised! I'm the mayor, and I'm saying that YOU can't live in the hen house! *gets eggs thrown at him*
In Good Time's Version:
Mooch: Heh heh heh heh *tossing up an egg on his paw*
Lucky: Oh, so THIS is how you wanted to help me?? Especially you, Dipstick, and Whizzer!?
Mooch: Yep! Heh heh heh, it must feel great having your own foot unstuck once it's been trapped in the door for so long; and I've got these two pups to thank for that. *chuckling evilly*
Dipstick and Whizzer: *chuckling evilly along with Mooch*
Lucky: This isn't funny, Mooch! Mind telling me what is going on? I never said you could move into the hen house.
Mooch: *taunting Lucky* Yeah you did, when you threw out all of Ed Pig's laws.
Lucky: Uh, NO! I said no such thing, Mooch, you trickster! You and I agreed that we would help upon my promise to the chickens to build a new hen house, and uh....I believe we also agreed it for the CHICKENS to live in, not for YOU!
Mooch: Weeeeeeeeelllll, look who is finally catching on. As far as I'm concerned, Mayor Luckless, one of the laws said only hens could live in the hen house; and now that we've got this new coup built and modeled, I'M moving in. With more space too, for the rest! *smiling evilly*
Dipstick and Whizzer: *chuckling evilly*
Lucky: This is NOT what I meant nor had in mind, Mooch!
Mooch: Aaaaaaaaaand whose fault is that? *playfully putting a paw around his ear to hear an answer from that taunty statement from Lucky*
Lucky: Well in this case, I'm declaring it the law that only hens can live in the hen house.
Hens in the background: *cluck cheers them on in Lucky's defense*
Mooch: But you promi-
Lucky: *cuts Mooch off* I didn't promise YOU a thing Mooch! I'm the mayor and I'm saying that YOU can't live in the hen house *gets eggs thrown at him*
When the gang bashes Lucky in jeopardizing all the promises he made for the Dearly Farm:
Rolly's line in Buena Vista's Version: Yeah, Lucky, pretty soon you're going to be eating all of our ice cream!
Rolly's line in Good Time's Version: Yeah, Lucky, pretty soon you're going to be eating all of our Kibble!
In the end when Mayor Pig let's the pups have the food in the beginning:
Rolly's line in BV's Version: It was sure nice of Mayor Pig to give us this Ice Cream.
Rolly's line in GT's Version: It was sure nice of Mayor Pig to give us this special Kibble we've always wanted for the day.
And that's my list so far, what do you think guys?
Hi guys, so as I have stated in my movie fanfic that I have been writing, it is shown for 101 Dalmatians: The Series to be distributed by Good Times Home Video.
