TVTropes has a bunch of links to the explanation video and the artist's petition at the top of their webpage. Amazon has a sidebar link, and TGWTG is down, as well as Wikipedia.

I really liked this week's episode. It was actually really cute, really good, and might be my favorite one in the season so far (because with the other episodes, they're giving focus to ponies I don't particularly like- I LOATHE Rainbow Dash, there are too many Applejack and Rarity ones, and Twilight's was just downright creepy and bizarre.) So it was nice to see Pinkie Pie get the focus for once.
I think it's nice they're giving day-in-the-limelight episodes to the other ponies they don't show too, too much on. I'm hoping for a Fluttershy one, really. Fluttershy seems to be getting ignored.

The little that I've found out about it, apparently it's about an arcade game villain named Wreck-It Ralph who is determined to become a good guy. Not sure how I feel about the plot, but Rich Moore (who used to direct animation on The Simpsons & Futurama) is directing it, and John C. Reilly and Jane Lynch are in it so I'm not complaining. I know it's not animated per say, but they're coming out with a new movie version of the musical Les Miserables (which I'm so planning on seeing despite the fact that Taylor Swift is playing Eponine ><)
I really would like to see The Lorax and Brave, and maybe Wreck-It Ralph. I have no interest in seeing Madagascar 3. I'm honestly surprised they're trying to save the franchise.

Vera

Post by Paws on Jan 2, 2012 22:31:30 GMT -5
EDIT: Done!--- Name: Vera Nickname(s): None Gender: Female Species: Canine Breed: Dalmatian Size: Around Rebecca's size. At a first glance, one would think that she’s a young pup but really, she’s just undersized. Collar: Yellow Age: A bit older than most Sexuality: Heterosexual Status: Single (crush on Flux) Alignment: Chaotic Good Appearance: As stated above, Vera is undersized and smaller than the average Dalmatian puppy, almost rivaling Rebecca in size. Vera has a slightly chubby stomach, which she is a little self-conscious about. She is heterochromatic; her right eye is blue and her left eye is green. Vera is also a liver-spotted Dal. Her right ear is liver with three white spots in a diagonal (think Domino’s spots on his ear), and her left ear has two liver-colored spots. The rest of her spots are all liver-colored and scattered around in a random pattern on her body. Vera wears a bright yellow collar around her neck. PICTURE: nemo-tv-champion.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d4i8j0s (the first one) Personality: She's very comparable to Patrice from "13". Vera is very bright and intellectual. She enjoys classic literature and old movies (black and white and anything considered a "classic"), as well as being with her friends. Upon first meeting, Vera comes off as a bit quiet and sometimes even a little shy, but warms up right away. She tends to have a sunny disposition towards her fellow puppies, which can sometimes land her in trouble with the not-so-nice ones every once in a while. Vera is also a bit deaf in one ear, and as such, is a little sensitive towards hearing and perception of sounds.

I believe I've seen you a few times around here, but I never really introduced myself.
Name's Paws. Resident artist, lurker, and that weirdo Alfie up there is my twin sister.

Oh yes, I saw this yesterday as well with Alfie and another friend of ours, and we were all so pleased by it. I was pleasantly surprised; it was funny, it was heartwarming, it was seriously everything I expected it to be and I can honestly say, I was NOT disappointed. =)
I agree with you on Fozzie, though. I've been doing tons of research on the puppeteers (I got a book last year around this time about all the puppeteers & Sesame Street's history) and I could clearly hear Eric Jacobson (Fozzie's current puppeteer & Grover on Sesame Street)'s Grover voice dripping into Fozzie. It was distracting me throughout the whole film. XD
