I may need an extention just to be safe.
The reason is my family and I are going on vacation and I'm not sure what day we will be back.
Maybe until New Year's Eve.

Is the National Film Registry supposed to be like the movie equivalent to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Disney Legends? It's like that, yeah. It is like how through its impact on culture, history or aesthetics, you would know whether or not a movie can be judged as art. And it's through the Library of Congress, where you would go to submit something for a copyright. According to Wikipedia, all of these officially canonized Disney animated features had been selected for preservation: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfes (1937) Pinocchio (1940) Fantasia (1940) Dumbo (1941) Bambi (1942) Cinderella (1950) Lady and the Tramp (1955) Sleeping Beauty (1959) The Little Mermaid (1989) Beauty and the Beast (1991) The Lion King (1994) Like some other lists, the movie in question has to be at least 10 years old so as of this writing Frozen would now be eligible.

Random Fact #4699:
In the mid-1980s, Mel Brooks would start filming a parody film called Spaceballs. This movie was a parody mainly of Star Wars but also branched into Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien.
When he presented the idea for the film to George Lucas for his blessing, he did love the idea for the film and said it could work even if it wasn't meant to be a comedy.
There was a catch though--in order to get George Lucas's blessing on making a parody film of such a hot property, Mel Brooks was not to go and start selling any Spaceballs merchandise. The reason for this was because it would be very easy for Spaceballs action figures to get mixed up as Star Wars figures and lawyers could easily find reason to sue for copyright infringement.
It was done, but Mel Brooks would go and make jokes about merchandising throughout the movie as a way around this issue.

I was reading through a part of my feed on Wish. They are saying it will not be pulling an Elemental at the box-office. You know where it started off being judged as a disappointment but it developed some strong legs and finished its run as a hit? Wish is not going to repeat that. It's not really a matter of businesses not really having faith in animation because movies like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse made piles of cash, but it was because Disney needs to stop making new purchases and do something different rather than play it safe. www.slashfilm.com/1462169/disney-wish-second-weekend-box-office-drop-elemental/It does look really bad if they end up losing critical favor and box-office draw to the third Trolls.

I would go and grab the whole line if they did a 101 Dalmatians: the Series set of Pop! Vinyl Figures.

AniMatt just reviewed a Netflix exclusive I never heard of called "Leo". And for an Adam Sandler movie, he surprisingly enjoyed it...but not very much. Story: 5/10 Animation: 7/10 Characters: 8/10 Songs: 6/10 Overall: 6.5/10 = 65% So now, the rankings look like this: 1. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - 93% 2. Nimona - 93% 3. Elemental - 80% 4. Wish - 75% 5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem - 73% 6. The Super Mario Bros. Movie - 67% 7. Leo - 65% 8. PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie - 57% 9. The Magician's Elephant - 53% 10. Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kracken - 47% 11. The Monkey King - 47% 12. Trolls Band Together - 43% After all that time he did with Hotel Transylvania, that is an improvement!

I'm still a bit undecided on Migration, mainly because in an ad that I saw they featured a joke that seemed like it would fit right in on Free Birds.
However I did read that before the movie they are going to show a short Despicable Me cartoon called "Mooned" which should be funny.

I did get to see Wish myself.
My thoughts on it are well, after being utterly bored by Strange World, I can say this one was an improvement. Not one to call a masterpiece, but it was fine.
It is nice to have a bunch of nostalgic callbacks that remind us of what we loved from them in the past, but that type of thing doesn't make up for not having a solid story to tell. It looked great and was very well-animated but nostalgia only goes so far.
I would reccommend going to see this movie, just... it's not the home run that Disney had hyped it to be.
