I do think I will enjoy Strange World, though I do have some reservations the way some movies go.

Okay, go ahead and add me babclayman. I will need an extention just to be safe.
I can expect overtime at Amazon so paying for a new computer will be feasible. My details will be coming soon.

Crap. To think I got his autograph back in 2014 and still have it.
RIP to the one and only Kevin Conroy. I once attended his seminar and he said growing up he lived in a rigid Catholic home. We can say he would deserve his place in Heaven.

Belchic... I'm going to wind up seeing this movie one way or another. It's kinda my thing and I need to understand what kids like. I just feel that maybe if I go in without any really powerful feelings I may have a clearer head and will be able to formulate a stronger opinion based on that. Might be better than expecting the world and then coming away disappointed.
You do understand right?

Man. That's far too young.
I hope his brother is okay.
RIP Aaron Carter

I'm going to go for a lot more OT at Amazon just to make sure I can get a new computer before Thanksgiving.
Poetically, I did the same thing back when I first started working for them in my hometown.

d**n... well no denying that he gave us all many amazing Christmases. That and the fact he was half of the team that introduced us to hit 80s cartoons like ThunderCats and SilverHawks.
RIP Jules Bass.

I'm just approaching the idea with a level of caution, Belchic. Do you remember what happened the last time they adapted the Super Mario Bros. into a movie, back in 1993? You know, that dumpster fire with Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo? And they had Dennis Hopper as King Koopa when Jurassic Park was playing in the other room?
How big of a letdown was that?

Random Fact #4520:
In 1994, Walt Disney World had an attraction which was called the ExtraTERRORestial Alien Encounter. It was a joint production between Disney and George Lucas with a darkly humorous sci-fi experience, replacing Mission to Mars. In January 1995, then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner wanted it shut down feeling it was not intense enough. It was reopened in June 1995 and got mixed reception. Some people felt it was a change of pace from the child-friendly tone of the rest of Tomorrowland, but it's reception was generally negative due to the fact it was considered too scary for very little kids.
On September 21, 2003, the Magic Kingdom announced that they would be closing the ExtraTERRORestial Alien Encounter. They wanted to make it more family-friendly so they were going to put a Lilo and Stitch-themed spin on said attraction calling it Stitch's Great Escape!, wanting to strike the Stitch pan while it was still hot.
To commemorate the grand opening of the new Stitch-themed attraction, they had a giant inflatable Stitch outside the gates, and as park guests approached Main Street U.S.A., they began to notice that Stitch was going around the park making chaos, a prominent example being that Cinderella's Castle was covered in graffiti and toliet paper. At Downtown Disney, there was a van that had crashed into a tree surrounded by police ribbons, with its contents being road signs, a travel map, shoes and boxes of toy dinosaurs.
Sergeant 90210 and Skippy were actually in the pre-show, carried over from Alien Encounter.
Stitch's Great Escape! received similarly bad reception. Some parents said it was less scary than the previous attraction, but everyone else thought of it being the worst attraction in the Magic Kingdom. Common complaints were that the show had again spent too much time in the darkness, parents not being able to comfort their kids if they got scared (since they were strapped into seats with a harness), the humor being a lot less mature (a chili dog burp caused some guests to become nauseous) and the seeming contradiction of the movie's message of everyone having some good in them--the ride merely shows Stitch as a gross, unlikable pest. As time went on, there were complaints that the chamber where the show was set began to stink and there were numerous mechanical failures. Various travel guides even advised people skip seeing it.
In October 2016, Stitch's Great Escape! entered seasonal operation. In 2017 the show's entrance was started for use as a costumed Stitch Meet-and-Greet area called Stitch's Alien Encounter Character Greeting!
It's last operating date was January 6, 2018, which caused people to wonder about the attraction's fate. The closure was said to be temporary, but in October the pre-show and Stitch animatronic were completely dismantled. In July 2020, Disney confirmed the attraction was permanently closed.
Stitch's Great Escape! was seen as something of a Franchise Killer, with the misplaced grudge American Disney Parks fans have for it replacing the earlier attraction, and the overmarketing of the franchise killed off any further prospects of another Stitch attraction in the US, which included a port of the better-received Stitch Encounter from Hong Kong Disneyland.
Random Fact #4521:
I was actually there for the grand opening of Stitch's Great Escape!

Random Fact #4509:
In the year 1966, CBS aired a Peanuts holiday special we all know as It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
During that time, there was a caveat: CBS warned them that if this Halloween special did not achieve as high of ratings as the earlier A Charlie Brown Christmas, they would not order any more Peanuts specials. They literally said had to be a blockbuster.
However, not only did it exceed the earlier ratings from that earlier special, it actually tied with an episode of Bonanza, which at the time was a ratings juggernaut. This would ensure we would see Peanuts specials for years to come.
