I can hear 1995 kids right now:
"You canceled Sonic SatAM for this thing!?"

Another reference in the same Disney Heroes game:
Periodically, in the item shop (the Heist Shop in particular), a badge you can buy is called "Dogs in Disguise" which features the 1996 live-action film adaptation characters with the phrase:
These disguises look a bit spotty to me.

I thought I would share this: On that Animation Magazine link www.animationmagazine.net/streaming/arctic-friends-shorts-go-global-us-premiere-sept-15/ they say this: With the popularity of animated content booming worldwide, a new animated series titled Arctic Friends Shorts Collection — a spinoff from the popular feature film Arctic Dogs (released theatrically in 2019 and becoming a top rated animated film on Netflix) — has been created and set for release on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video through WWPS, which acquired the digital distribution rights and brokered the deal.
Iervolino Entertainment S.p.A acquired the spinoff rights to the characters from the original film, including all merchandising rights, commercial exploitation, soundtrack, and print publishing rights, and created Arctic Friends as a short-format animated series consisting of five-minute episodes, produced by Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi. That last line excites me. I wonder what will be coming next?

Random Fact #4310:
In 1994, during the one-on-one tournament brawler boom, Atari released a game called Primal Rage. This game was set in a post-apocalyptic Earth (now called Urth) where seven giant beasts (five dinosaurs and two giant gorillas) would fight each other to determine the fate of the planet, with the winner gaining the loser's land and human tribes.
The game did receive a wide variety of merchandise, including toys and a comic book, which actually gained more profit than the game itself.
There was a wide attempt to port the game to various home consoles, including one for the SNES, Genesis, 32X, Atari Jaguar CD, PC CD-ROM, etc., but ports are generally scattershot in quality because the arcade game is impossible to perfectly replicate due to the game's unusual copy protection engine; the encryption binding the game has never been broken and none of the original programmers are up to task.
Long story short, if you want the game to be arcade perfect, you will need to get the original arcade booth.

There's at least three episodes with four 5 minute cartoons apiece. If they continue (and they probably will with the popularity of the movie) I'll keep getting them. The movie is not popular, Trey. In case you have forgotten, Arctic Dogs was branded as the worst animated film of 2019 and had the worst opening weekend in cinematic history! I would like to see this series. Is it exclusive to Amazon? That's not turning out to be the case Belchic. Did the movie initially fail yes, but maybe it was one of those movies that was meant to first fail at the box-office but it found a voice when it came home on video, don't underestimate the power of home media. Like I once said that's where its success lies. It's not still in theatres but it continues to live on. By contrast there are other movies that leave the box-office with $300-400 million but then die because for all the hype and anticipation it has no lasting value and the story and characters don't resonate with people. If you look for the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack on your Amazon app on your computer you will find it's listed as this: Movies & TV › Studio Specials › Lionsgate Home Entertainment › Top Sellers It's still listed as a top seller at my local F.Y.E. store and this is from that link that I posted: The series is a spinoff from the popular feature film Arctic Dogs, which was released in 2019 and became one of the top rated animated films on Netflix and the third most viewed Italian film on Netflix in the United States. The Arctic Friends Short Collection just made a grand debut in Italy, becoming the #1 overall title on Apple TV in Italy and #1 on the Kids and Family movie ranking upon release last week.Do you think you can say that about Playmobil? And right now you can see it on AppleTV or Amazon Prime Video.

Okay guys I just bought the first episode from Amazon Video.
For starters it's clearly got a lower budget and each episode is only five minutes long.
The only returning characters that you see are Swifty, PB, Jade, Otto Von Walrus and the Puffins. They do like what they did for the more recent Mickey Mouse shorts where the characters don't actually speak but rather they kinda grunt and mime their way through different scenarios. I don't see that as bad because like I said in a recent review that I wrote if you shut off the dialogue and you understand it even though there is no spoken dialogue that is how animation works.
It's a cute little series and I like it. It's also really nice that the movie's finding its voice.

Chances are they will have more conventional voice actors do their roles.
Still, this looks like it could be the start of something big! Maybe we can expand on the characters and the world they live in and that is going to be hyper cool!
Maybe even see a line of sequels? I'm stoked for it!
