This does sound some what like speculation.
I shall wait for when there is Official Information, about it.
Though, If they do some thing, set in the World of Zootopia, I feel they should make a number of Shorts, which are like; Police Camera Shows, like Cps! You think that is a possible idea, Pups?

I doubt it bab. I'm sure it'll be a full on sequel. The movie certainly made enough money to get a sequel, that's for sure!
If this is confirmed, I'm predicting it'll come out in Thanksgiving of 2020 and delay Gigantic yet again! Because if you think about it, lately Disney has been a lot more interested in doing sequels and live action remakes rather than original ideas. Even Pixar is doing the same thing. At this rate, Gigantic may even end up getting canceled!
If a voice actor from the film said he will be reprising his role as the character in that film, then that should at least confirm that something is coming.

I could see a "Z2" happening but they have things planned out a while so I don't think it would happen soon. There are rumors of a Zootopia land coming at Animal Kingdom, perhaps they would do a sequel to tie in with that. The movie made a billion dollars globally and they own everything about it so it's not surprising they want another flick but Disney has a good thing going right now across the board (Coca, annual Star Wars flicks, Infinity War)

It wouldn't surprise me if it did, but Disney obviously has a different pedigree than other animation studios in that what comes from them needs to be a gem.
Better it has no sequel than a sequel that ruins the original.

Anyway, if Mark Hill confirmed he is reprising his role, that definitely means Disney is interested in doing more with the franchise, but it's just someone who voiced a minor character, so we can't officially confirm a full-on sequel yet. However, if someone like Jennifer Goodwin said anything about it, then we could probably confirm that a sequel is happening for sure.

Thanks to a thing called "versatility". I would love to see where things go.

John Travolta is like Jim Carey: He hates sequels and isn't fond of playing the same character twice.

I hear some awkward nws, about; Gigantic, Pups!
It seems that; Gigantic has been put on hld. I have a feeling that it is likely issues with the Story, that they need to work on.
This is some awkward nws, about Gigantic, though. It does make me wonder if they shall show the Concept Images, or the Musical Numbers, plan for the Film? What do you think, of this nws, Pups?

Probably. Just more would need to be done with the story.
I guess there's nothing we can do but hold out for it right?

If I may ask, bab: where did you hear this news on Gigantic? Last time I heard, they were delaying the release to 2020 due to scheduling conflicts. Though the way you’re putting it, it sounds like it’s going to become another abandoned project like King of the Elves and Newt.

I hear this information, on the Disney Wiki, Belchic! Though, I also do hear what Poogle posts, in the; Hollywood Reportr, I think.
It does make me wonder, if they plan to show the Concept Images, or the Musical Numbers, they have for the Film. I think, they do claim that the Musical Numbers are from the ones who do Frozen's Musical Number, Eh?
May I ask, Belchic; Did you see the; "Animated" Panel, at the 2015 D 23 Expo? If you did, didn' they show some of the Musical Numbers, for; Gigantic, there, Belchic?

Yes. At the 2015 D23, they did announce this movie in the animated Films panel and even showed clips from it. With that in mind, it is ashamed that they canceled the film. It’s most likely getting replaced with Zootopia 2 since Disney seems to be more interested in doing sequels nowadays.

Well whether it's going to be a proper sequel that will exist in the canon or just a spin-off I'd support it since Zootopia is an amazing film.
Though I once remember reading one person's article on how they noticed Zootopia seems to get the shaft in terms of merchandise in favor of other products like Moana. I even remember while I was working I counted through multiple copies of Moana in a Little Golden Book format and rarely do I ever see anything with Zootopia.
They even said that they are still pushing Frozen four years after its release even to the point they asked if the studio would take a cue from its big musical number and "Let it go".
