Sequels are just cheaper and easier to make than original ideas. They also have established bankability which is good for anyone involved. Besides they did an original idea in Wish and it was not a widely adored film.

I thought I would let you guys know that today, April 2nd, is the 20th anniversary of the Disney animated film Home on the Range.
It may have had time to age, but time doesn't seem to be making it any better for the public as a whole.

Bob Iger has confirmed that "Zootopia II" will be released on the Twenty-Sixth of November, 2025! While "Frozen III" will be released on Twenty-Fifth of November, 2026!

So, we had the Disney Shareholder Meeting, this week, and that usually does give us a heads up that we may be getting some new Trailers or Promotional Material soon. Technically, we did get something. We got a screen for "Moana II", this week! Judging by how this looks, Moana has definately got an Ol'er look to her, and I do wonder, given the background, shall the film feature more Creatures emerging from Lalotai (the Realm of Monsters), or more about Pacific Lore? I also wonder if they will have Lin-Manuel Miranda returning to write new Musical Numbers for the film, too!? What do you think of the screen, Pups? Think we will be getting another trailer in the coming weeks, too?

I did like Moana. And yeah, I suppose we could learn more about her as she ages or about the island of Motunui.
I am just more of a Zootopia fan.

Call my opinion unpopular, but I just think Moana is very overrated.
