I don't know how I missed this, but apparently a month ago, Disney had their first screening of Zootopia 2, and it did exceptionally well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JdXTMW_Uy8And before you jump to any conclusions, I don't think this is fake news. Various videos are popping up all over YouTube confirming all this news. It is starting to sound like Zootopia 2 might very well be the next film in the canon. They even revealed some brand new characters! Characters that are not just mammals even! www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaAj8PHHigQ

Is the National Film Registry supposed to be like the movie equivalent to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Disney Legends?

Is the National Film Registry supposed to be like the movie equivalent to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Disney Legends? It's like that, yeah. It is like how through its impact on culture, history or aesthetics, you would know whether or not a movie can be judged as art. And it's through the Library of Congress, where you would go to submit something for a copyright. According to Wikipedia, all of these officially canonized Disney animated features had been selected for preservation: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfes (1937) Pinocchio (1940) Fantasia (1940) Dumbo (1941) Bambi (1942) Cinderella (1950) Lady and the Tramp (1955) Sleeping Beauty (1959) The Little Mermaid (1989) Beauty and the Beast (1991) The Lion King (1994) Like some other lists, the movie in question has to be at least 10 years old so as of this writing Frozen would now be eligible.

I can see why those would be accepted. Hopefully someday, 101 Dalmatians will get in there.

I just came across this, which looks like a trailer for Zootopia 2...but I'm pretty sure it's fake:

Yeah, Fairly certain it's not a real trailer. Trailers are often uploaded around Thursday or Friday, I've come to notice.
Trust me, when the trailer for "Zootopia II" is uploaded, you'll likely see it on the Official Disney Youtube Channel, rather than some random Youtube Channel, Eh?

Did you check the date it was uploaded, babclayman?

Well, it doesn't really tell you the upload date in an Embedded Video, Belchic.
As said though, You'll like Know when the actual trailer is uploaded. I'll likely upload it here too, when I see it, Eh?
I do admit, though, there's been a ton of film announcements this week. Megamind II & Series, Despicable Me IV, Sonic III, Ghostbusters Trailer, Beetlejuice II Poster, even one for Universal's New Park.
I wonder when we will be getting some trailers or announcements from Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Lucasfilm?

You can see the date in the description of the video when you watch it on YouTube. Still, I’m pretty sure it is fake since it does use footage of from the first movie, as well as another movie I have never even heard of, and the dialogue is out of sync with the characters. The new dialogue was most likely done using A.I. tools. And yeah, I will admit Disney has been pretty hush-hush lately about their upcoming films. So far, all we got is still just the first trailer for Inside Out 2, and still no revealing of the other new emotions other than fan theory videos.

So, given the announcements and trailers a week ago from other studios, I was curious about when Disney be making an announcement or trailer for what they got in the works... We got a Teaser today, for "MOANA II"! www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZSywj-vkxASo, "Moana" will be getting a Sequel! I wonder if this is what evolved from that planned "Moana" Series spoken about some time back? I am guessing this film will be about Moana leading her people to become Voyagers! The film will air in November! What you think on this Teaser, Pups!?

Yep, I saw it myself. This sort of came out of nowhere, but I saw this coming from a mile away anyway. At first, I thought it was a hoax, but it certainly looks legit. Though if you know me, I'm not excited.

I be looking forward to seeing the "Moana" follow up.
We also got more film news, too!
Bob Iger has confirmed that "Zootopia II" will be released on the Twenty-Sixth of November, 2025! While "Frozen III" will be released on Twenty-Fifth of November, 2026!
Here be the Source.
So, seems the next three films from Disney Animation Studios will be Sequels. What you think of these announcements, Pups!?

I think Disney is just becoming a parody of themselves. Seems they’re making nothing but sequels now just for marketing reasons. Let’s face it: it’s just another one of their schemes to try to get out of this financial crisis that they’re in.
