i don't think the series is over per say. it could more-than-likely be on haitus. think about it, the voice actors are all more-than-likely working on something else that's probably more important. I definitely know that:
Eric McCormack is working on Perception (and probably something else) Yvette Nicole Brown is working on Community (and probably something else) John DiMaggio is working on Adventure Time (and probably something else) Emmett Walsh i have no idea Alanna Ubach probably Handy Manny, if it's still going on Michael Rapaport, i have no idea Betty White is working on Hot in Cleveland.
Plus, i have several ep ideas and even a movie idea that i still need to show the HUB. I pray to the Lord that they accept them. STORYBOARDS IM WORKING ON RIGHT NOW!!!

When you say Storyboard ideas, are you claiming you work for them or a really devoted fan?

Would you mind providing some evidence to backup your argument if you say the show is on hiatus? Though like I said, considering the ages of the VA's for Leonard, Olaf and Agatha, I don't see them doing too much more with this series if anything. And by episode ideas, do you mean fanfiction like the RP Two-Tone and I did a while back?

This show is probably over BUT it's not done airing. The Hub is changing its timeslot so now it will air at 8 a.m. on Saturdays with three episodes instead of two at 9 a.m. (its former 9:30 spot will goes so they can also add a third MLP). It's still one of the Hub's highest-rated shows.

In a couple years, the Hub is going to remove that show completely from their schedule, and the whole network will turn into utter crap making it unwatchable. That happened to the Disney Channel, it also happened to Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Toon Disney, so I'm sure the Hub will suffer the same fate. I don't know where that one guy got the idea that the show is only on hiatus, but I'm sure that info is false since he didn't provide any legitimate proof to back up his argument. Though, I was sure the show will continue to air for a while longer for historical purposes.

The Hub probably won't deviate from its intended mission too much given how much the channel is intended mainly as "place to air Hasbro toy-driven cartoons and family movies/reruns." They've got room to add live-action shows since they've always been about family more than just animation. Their toy tie-ins mean they are playing by different rules, see the end of the highly-rated Transformers: Prime because its toyline ended to make room for the Age of Extinction movie ones.

When you say Storyboard ideas, are you claiming you work for them or a really devoted fan? I am a devoted fan of the series. For user Jingle Belchic, i don't have evidence per say for it, but i do know that the Hub has yet to forget the show. There was a Christmas themed ad with Niblet in it, but i doubt that proves anything. In order to be 100% sure about the hiatus, we'll have to wait until August for the Dog Days of Summer and see what happens then. If the show was REALLY over, they would've taken it off, or at least give it very little airing times (i.e. Dan Vs, Transformers Prime, G.I. Joe, etc.)

Remember what I've been saying about Dexter's Laboratory? Also, if a show ends it's production, they're obviously not going to take it off the air right away! They need to allow time for episodes to repeat. Still, like I said earlier, there are still a few loose ends that need to be tied on this show, which I will repeat: 1. The SSPC becoming Pound Puppies 2. Niblet and Strudel's owners 3. Lucky and Cookie finally confessing their love for each other.

This thought just came to me last night:
You know how this show is made by the creators of Recess? Well, I actually found out the main dogs on this show perfectly match up with the Recess kids!:
Lucky - TJ Cookie - Spinelli Niblet - Mikey Strudel - Gretchen Squirt - Vince
If my fan character, Spotty, was a real character, he could be Gus.
See? It's perfect!

From what I seem to understand, three of this show's most popular episodes are:
"The Quintuplets" "Homeward Pound" and "I Never Barked at my Father"
Still kind of puzzles me as to why. Possibly because of the shout-outs to other Disney franchises with dogs.
Also, as I seem to understand: The puppy known as Pepper, as well as Lucky's father are dark horse characters. I suppose Lucky's owner is too seeing how they brought her back several times in Season 3.

I was watching the credits to one episode last night, and it appears Daniel Ingram of MLPFIM fame composed the music to this show. I wonder if the creators of all the HubToons are really all one big team.

It is entirely possible. Pound Puppies does make an Easter Egg appearance in Equestria Girls and they do have similar animation. Don't they? ;3

After Pound Puppies first-season animation troubles they fired their original animation team and hired Media DHX. The animation team was the same as LPS and MLP and Daniel did music for both shows (the tune for MLP's "Love is in Bloom" actually first appeared without the lyrics in the PP episode "Lucky Gets Adopted").

Much like LPS, the Five Man Band in this series can vary depending on the episode:
The Hero - Lucky owns this title.
The Lancer - Most of the time, it's Cookie, but sometimes, it can be Squirt.
The Smart Guy - Squirt and Strudel tag team this, but Strudel's probably more appropriate for the title.
The Big Guy - Niblet obviously, but sometimes, it can be Cookie.
The Chick - I guess Strudel.

Not that I want to sound pessimistic, but I gotta be honest here:
Considering this series is over, I don't think it's going to last much longer on the Hub. Of the three HubToons, this one is the least popular. I mean, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic still remains the Hub's highest-rated program. Littlest Pet Shop's ratings are pretty high too. Pound Puppies, on the other hand, is nowhere near as high as those two. I know the people who run the network love the show and have been trying to push it to be popular, but I'm afraid they are not achieving.
I'm sure the show will eventually be taken off the air. If the show's ratings are in the hole, there's a lack of room in the schedule, and they start to lose money off of it, then yes, they'll definitely need to pull it from the lineup.
On a plus side, I do see some hope. Unlike 101 Dalmatians, I do see hope for a DVD release of the series. Like I said, the Hub does love this show and has been pushing its popularity (too bad 101 didn't get the same treatment). Several of the episodes are on DVD already (even though they're rare), but no full seasons yet, but that is possible. While YouTube may not be showing it, some of the episodes are on Blip and Dailymotion, all the episodes are streaming on Netflix as of right now, and...I'm not sure about iTunes, but probably not.
I welcome feedback.
