I have to say I'm surprised more people on here aren't watching the show. It seems right up their alley, being about dogs and all. Perhaps The Hub isn't the most available network, but the episodes are uploaded on the official site. As I said, Belchic kept complaining that we were talking about the show when he couldn't watch it, but now that he can, he doesn't. This lack of discussion, regardless of series, is starting to bother me.

Today's episode was pretty neat, one thing I picked up on though was whenever the General flirted with Lucky it really rubbed Cookie the wrong way...enough to make her get a "girlish" makeover just to get his attention(which nearly ended up blowing the plan to get all those puppies adopted).Correct me if I'm wrong...but the creators may have slipped in a hint that Cookie has a special liking for Lucky.

Yeah, although Lucky's feelings towards her were even more subtle. He had a few lines that made it sound like he liked her more than a friend, but then again, he was far more infatuated with the general.

The episode today was alright. Nice to see Rebound again, but the plot just didn't work for me because I hate those types of plots. Lucky and the gang must be really dense to not notice that couldn't have been Squirt. I think my favorite part was the coyotes; wish they would have had more time, but maybe we'll see them again down the road.

In case you missed it here on the Hub's site is the last episode The General... www.hubworld.com/pound-puppies/shows/pound-puppies/videos/ppup-the-generalAs for this episode I would have thought this episode was right what you were looking for Huntsman A and B-stories that did not deal with adoption this time out to focus on Squirt's misadventure (but yeah, it did seem out of character for the others to chew him out like that at the start) but hey it is a cliche story approach. They still had a pup to get adopted but it was the C-story and they played for it laughs (the pup of the week was literally named "McGuffin." Someone on the writing staff was having fun). Rebound's return was random, but expected, and I was genuinely surprised when it had pay off near the end. Odd at the lack of McLeish and Olaf really doing much but we did get to see their silent co-worker Catcher again, as with the other humans he's refreshingly not an outright villian (rare for the actual dogcatcher on a show set in a pound). Overall I thought this was a fun episode if just because as I've said earlier I find Michael Rappaport quite funny and this episode really showed his character off. I really enjoyed the little "I'll teach you to be me" scene at the start. (*slap* "Squirt don't giggle")

As for this episode I would have thought this episode was right what you were looking for Huntsman A and B-stories that did not deal with adoption this time out to focus on Squirt's misadventure... I guess I was just hoping it would have had a more original plot, or at least executed the one it had more originally. I know that cliché plots are an unfortunate necessity in animation - 101 Dalmatians: The Series is full of them - but the "trading lives" plot never sat well with me, especially since both parties always regret their decision. Maybe I would have liked it more if Squirt didn't regret his decision, but ultimately came back due to a sense of duty or something. But they immediately went with the "I miss my friends" card, which is the card that is always played.

I think I would have liked today’s episode a lot more if the cat team wasn’t an exact copy of the Pound Puppies. They could have just as easily had the cat vs. dog dynamic without doing that. I was really looking forward to this episode, too, but it is what it is.

Also, I've never heard of downloadable episodes on a Hub website. When did this ever pop up?

Man, that show just came and went just like that. Well, I guess I'm never going to be able to see the series ever again. You guys keep telling me that I can watch it, but you're lying! I already told you that I can't! I DON'T GET THE HUB! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS?
