Lucky , how are you so sure the series is ending after the movie? A Season 8 has been confirmed. Where did you hear about its cancellation? Though you do have somewhat of a point. The series has had a little bit of a downgrade over the years, and seeing that it's getting a movie, that's usually when popular shows start to get a decline. I think MLP will continue to run just as long as the Bronies continue to watch it. babclayman : The movie is getting released on October 6. However, you live in the U.K., so for you, it comes out on October 20. Belchic, where are you getting this information? I mean, did I say I read that after Season 7 and the Movie the Series is going to get cancelled, I think you need to slow down and chill, cause as I said, this isn't a race to see who can make the most posts in one day. What I said was. Quote "I've been doing some THINKING and I DID come to the conclusion that the series would end with the movie and Season 7. *Looks at Spongebob and Ed, Edd n Eddy for examples.* Because I haven't heard anything about an eighth season of MLP ." Unquote. So, NOTHING new shows up about the shows cancellation, it was a FEELING I had.

Lucky, I think you're the one who needs to chill, because you have a habit of jumping all over me whenever I make the slightest posts. Now then, you can't blame me for misinterpreting. People do that all the time on the internet. I mean, babclayman does it a lot, so are you saying it's ok for him to misinterpret, but it's not ok for me to do it? Also, I must correct you about Spongebob and Ed, Edd n Eddy. First of all, Ed, Edd n Eddy never had a movie, and I think it ran for more than 7 seasons. I think it ran for 8 or 9 seasons. As for Spongebob, there is no way that show ended after the movie or after the seventh season! It is still running to this day like it has been for the past 20 years! Not to mention, it got not one, but two movies, and there's a third one on the way. You know I really don't like it when people always try to make me look like the bad guy all the time.

Says the Pup that criticizes me for ONE little DETAIL on the my little pony Movie. For that, Belchic, you're walking on mighty thin ice with me, did that post say anything about the ending! NO. And YES! Ed Edd n Eddy did have a movie, it's called. "Big Picture Show." HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT! I didn't want to Argue with you, Belchic, as I was just pointing something out, so if you want to Argue bring it on! But I'm not GOING TO SIT HERE AND EXPLAIN HOW MUCH YOU'VE HURT ME FOR JUST ONE LITTLE TINY DETAIL OF THE MLP MOVIE WITH YOU! AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, THIS ARGUMENT IS OVER!

I don't really want to put up with arguing either. I'm having a bad enough day as it is because I was in a FREAKING CAR ACCIDENT TODAY! And if I end up getting banned from this board just for having an argument with one of the members, it's just going to make me feel worse!
Long story short, I do NOT want to continue this argument! If any admins want to delete the posts here associated with this argument between me and Shawn, you may go ahead and do so, but I am ending this conversation right now!

TONIGHT, Twilight sleeps in books, Fluttershy head butts Twilight's rump, and Zecora loses her ability to rhyme.
Well, this episode was pretty good. I don't have much to say about it other than I thought Zecora was going to die, but I doubt anyone on this show will die. Still, I think the swamp fever thing might be too dark for a kids show considering it might be a reference to deadly, incurable diseases like cancer, diabetes or AIDS.
I'm not sure where I'd rank this episode.
Next week, the CMC's set up a cutie mark camp (Ooh! Story arc!) and meet a filly who doesn't want a cutie mark.
Side note: I have a feeling MLP will end after season 8. It seems a lot of Bronies have been losing interest in the show lately and have left the community. The movie is coming out soon, and like I said, that usually is when tv shows start to decline when they get movies. Also, Hasbro announced that next year, Equestria Girls is officially getting a TV series, so I'd think they would not try to make two similar shows at the same time; that would be overkill.

I don't have too much to say about today's episode. It was definitely a good one. I like the idea of the Cutie Mark Camp, and I hope they continue it in the series.
So, here, we are introduced to Rumble, Thunderlane's brother. His reason for not wanting a cutie mark are actually quite clear: he's afraid he'll be forced to do one thing for the rest of his life. That obviously isn't true, but one thing he definitely won't get his cutie mark in is singing (he's a terrible singer).
Next week, Twilight goes on a cruise with her family.
I'm also excited about seeing the movie when it comes out this Friday! I'm going! Though like I said, I doubt anyone else on this board is going to see it other than me (except for maybe Race).

TONIGHT, Twilight cries, Shining Armor gets airsick, and Cadence sees her fans.
Well, after watching this episode, I’ve learned a lot more about Twilight’s family, like how her mother is an adventure-seeker.
I was really surprised to see Iron Will make a comeback. I believe this is the first time we’ve seen him since Season 2.
I also like Star Tracker. Something tells me he and Twilight are going to become another popular ship.
Overall, pretty good episode.
Next week, Pinkie Pie tries to figure out why Rainbow Dash doesn’t like her pies.

TONIGHT, Rainbow Dash feeds Tank a pie, Pinkie Pie sneezes, and Applejack reminds Pinkie of her element.
I personally think this was a great episode. Yeah, Dash was being a bit of a jerk, but in the end, it shows more clear evidence how close she and Pinkie are as friends. Also, I have a feeling this will become a fan favorite seeing that it’s an episode where Pinkie goes psycho.
By the way, did you guys see Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail in the background?
Next week, Sunburst makes his return. This looks like it’s going to be quite an episode too because I hear Trixie and Maud are going to be in it too!

TONIGHT, Starlight proves she isn’t very strong, Trixie saws herself in half, and Maud makes a dice out of rock. Well, I learned quite a bit from this episode: 1. Starlight and Sunburst are just friends. All this time, I thought they were brother and sister. 2. DJ-P0N3 is still confirmed to be a mute. 3. Physically, Starlight isn’t very strong, even when she uses magic. 4. Apparently, there is an old ancient language called Ponish. 5. Starlight is capable of making her own spells? There were also some things I was expecting to see happen in the episode that didn’t: 1. I thought Pinkie Pie was going to be in this episode, but she wasn’t. 2. I thought this episode was going to have a song in it, but it didn’t. I actually thought there was going to be a song when I heard that montage music being played over and over again. Overall, this wasn’t a fantastic episode, but pretty good. The ending showed this mysterious ancient spell book, and babclayman may be surprised to hear this, but that spell book has to do with the plot of next week’s episode, which happens to be the season finale! I hope this will be a more worthwhile finale as opposed to what we got last season.

Okay, I just heard some awkward news here. These were reported off of Equestria Daily:
Apparently, the MLP movie is doing very well in theaters despite all the backlash from critics. In fact, they’re actually planning to make a sequel! It sounds like the movie made enough money to earn a sequel.
Another thing I heard is that MLP has been renewed for a Season 9, but the series will be ending after that season.
On another note, it seems Equestria Girls is officially getting a series! It’s going to be a YouTube exclusive series and will premiere on November 17.

I wouldn't say the film got all that much backlash from critics, it came in just a tick on the "rotten" side on Rotten Tomatoes but most said it was average to good for what it is.
I'm very curious what the budget for the MLP film actually was. I've heard it figured anywhere from $30 down to as little as eight to $10 million which means you could make a mint even with a modest box office results; to say nothing of all the MLP movie toys they'll sell and the money that will come from DVD/Blu Ray sales. For comparison, "Zootopia" cost $150 million. A sequel wouldn't surprise me but it would be interesting to see if it was a theatrical movie or direct to home release.

Well, so far, it surpassed $35 million, which is not even close to making the Top 50 highest-grossing traditionally-Animated Films unfortunately.
