I sort of agree with you bab.
I know this should belong in the ANC topic, but I was the last person to post there, so I can't post there until someone else does, but...what title do you think Pixar will most likely go with for a Finding Nemo sequel?
Finding Nemo 2 Finding Nemo Again Still Finding Nemo Losing Dori

I think it should be Finding Nemo 2: Losing Dori. Because if it's just Finding Nemo 2, this means that Nemo is captured again? but it will be too boring, same plot over again? It'll be not well accepted. And Losing Dori, it'll be not recognized that it's the sequel of Finding Nemo because it doesn't have the title...

Okie-dokie-lokie! I have just returned from watching Finding Nemo 3D at the theaters. I am quite pleased that I got to see that movie theatrically finally, even if it was a reissue. On top of that, it was a perfect film to be reissued in 3D in my opinion! Overall, great experience.
Also, by the time I'm posting this, bab and his family should be in my area now. I'm so looking forward to meeting him in person tomorrow. Strangely, I thought he'd post something letting us know that they've arrived, but he told me he doesn't have an iPhone, so it wouldn't be as easy. Well, I know I'm going off topic, but I just felt like sharing that. Carry on with the Pixar chats!

Okay, on Sunday I went to see Finding Nemo. I decided to give it second chance and...
Well, I'm kinda glad I did. I still don't think it's Pixar's absolute best, but I'll rate it a B+.

I still wonder, Trey, what is it about that movie that you hate so much?

I was a bit bitter about the fact it seemed to mark an end of sorts for cel-animation in favor of all-digital animation. Especially how well it did against Brother Bear (and the fact Treasure Planet did so poorly).
But now that cel animation isn't as out-of-style as it was thought in the mid-2000s, it really isn't an issue now and I can forgive that.

Disney needs to start bringing out more films on its own. I prefer the films that are just Disney, not Disney-Pixar. I mean, the Toy Story franchise and Bug's Life were good, but I prefer the animation in films like "Lion King", "Beauty and the Beast", and such.

Belchic gave his, so here's mine:
Toy Story (1995) This movie was a great introduction to CGI-features; I think I have lost count of how many times I've watched it.
TreyVore rates it: A+
A Bug's Life (1998) A step down maybe, and not quite as memorable as Toy Story, but I do think it's underrated.
TreyVore rates it: B+
Toy Story 2 (1999) At a time I liked it better than the first movie. But now that we have Toy Story 3 it seems like filler.
TreyVore rates it: A-
Monsters, Inc. (2001) As far as CGI features go it's acceptable, but maybe if they spent less time rendering every individual hair on Sulley's body and more time establishing the supporting cast it probably would be better.
TreyVore rates it: C+
Finding Nemo (2003) Used to have a low opinion of it, but having revisited the movie I like it better. Not their best, but still worth seeing.
TreyVore rates it: B+
The Incredibles (2004) Undoubtably good. It may have been somewhat predictable but maybe that's just the film's genre talking.
TreyVore rates it: B
Cars (2006) Like AniMat says, "While the Pixar films have been known for being groundbreaking or even historical, but Cars... Cars was "just ok".
TreyVore rates it: C
Ratatouille (2007) If it's supposed to be a metaphor for "follow your dreams" okay, but... I'm still not buying that people would want to eat at a restaurant run by... rats.
TreyVore rates it: C+
Wall-E (2008) One of my favorites from the studio.
TreyVore rates it: A+
Up (2009) Didn't like it as much as Wall-E, but I do think it deserves its success.
TreyVore rates it: A
Toy Story 3 (2010) After ten years of contract negotiations, this film was most certainly worth it.
TreyVore rates it: A+
Cars 2 (2011) Ugh. Pixar was overdue for a legitamite disappointment, and here it is. Didn't even get nominated for Best Animated Feature but it didn't deserve it.
TreyVore rates it: D
Brave (2012) Fine for what it was, but I don't think it deserves a Best Animated Feature nomation.
TreyVore rates it: B-

Thought I'd give you guys an update that Pixar does have some sequels planned for the future.
I'm not sure why Cars 2 gets bashed so much. I personally liked it better than the first one.
John Lasseter has confirmed that there will be a sequel to Finding Nemo, and there are plans for a sequel to The Incredibles.
The Toy Story sequels have gotten a lot of good reception, and I seriously think there shouldn't be anymore, BUT...Tom Hanks has occurred that there is going to be a Toy Story 4! *double facepalm*

Belchic Despite what you heard, Belchic those were just rumors, Disney has no plans for a Toy Story 4 whatsoever, Tom Hanks and Estella would probably like to reprise their roles in the next Toy Story Film if it ever sees the light of day. But Disney has denied the rumors saying. "Nothing is official."

@shawn217 , you sure about that? Cuz I've read on several websites that there is a TS4 in the works. I hope you're right about those rumors, and I hope they just stick to doing the TS shorts.

Belchic I'm sure, but there have been no word from either Disney or Pixar about a Toy Story 4, but there is a Toy Story Halloween Special coming to TV in October 2013 called Toy Story of Terror.

Something interesting before the debut of "Planes" later this week...They already have "Planes 2" in production and set to debut in the summer of 2014. A little confident aren't they...that said the early reports are it should be pretty good (but that's based off a premiere at the famous EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show, a crowd that all love real airplanes).
Interesting casting notes... Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards appear voicing Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet Navy fighter jets... one imagines their characters are "Top Gun" fliers.
This is NOT a Pixar film, it's made just by Disney...but they still put John Ratzenberger in the film for a small role (Not as Mack either, he's "Harland" whoever that is).

So, It hasn't even been shown in Theatres yet and it's already getting a Sequel!?
Like said, a little overly confident, aren't they? Or is this going to be like Milking 'Cars' Film to the extreme?
