Yes, March 7 we finally get Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
And...
Well it looks good. As of right now on Rotten Tomatoes it has a score of 75%.

I will say I went and saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman. And...?
I will say it is good. It's not easy taking a 7 minure sketch and turning it into a 90 minute movie especially considering the dated source material but it does contain enough in-jokes and historical references to entertain adults.
It does go against the shorts in some ways like the occasional body function references but I will say if you guys want to see it go ahead.
Side note is I have been trying to type this message from my computer but the preview button doesn't work and then I return back to the message screen with a "You must provide a message" screen. I was able to send messages on Facebook but not here for some reason. Unless proboards is having problems can someone help me out here? I'm typing this from my Wii U.

Earlier this morning, I wasn't able to get onto the board at all. I saw a page saying they were experiencing technical difficulties. Though I'm glad they fixed it.

Well, I know some people aren't necessarily interested in The Wind Rises, but AniMat reviewed the movie and he says:
The Story: 10/10 The Animation: 8/10 The Characters: 9/10
The Wind Rises: 9/10 - Excellent!
And, first movie this year to get his Seal of Approval!

I still have very low expectations about the animated films coming out this year. The only one I have any real genuine interest in is one that shouldn't count: Equestria Girls 2, and I'm probably going to have to wait until the fall to see it (when it airs on the Hub with all the good stuff edited out ), because if the first one didn't show at a theater near me, I doubt this one will.

Erm...Did Hub edit out anything from the first EG? Why would they edit stuff out...of a Made For Television Movie?

If you're still worried about the edited version of Equestria Girls 2, then wait for it to appear on the Internet, then go to YouTube and type in Equestria Girls 2 Uncut, it should give you the full version, if not there's nothing you can do, the DVD and possibly NetFilx if you get that, will have the edited version as well, same thing happened to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever where the whole thing was edited even on the DVD Release, but you can still see the uncut version to this very day though, so give it a shot when you get the chance Belchic and type in Equestria Girls uncut and see what you can come up with, but since this is a girls film I do recommend to be careful when doing so.

I finally got to see AniMat's review of Mr. Peabody and Sherman. He says:
The Story: 7/10 The Animation: 8/10 The Characters: 5/10
Mr. Peabody and Sherman: 7/10 - Good!
Despite some doubts he liked it. Time will tell if it makes his Best list but I can also recommend it.

I will let you guys know that before I saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman, I did see a short clip from what I imagine would be a teaser for the movie Home.
Seeing that trailer, I'm not looking forward to it.

The short before Peabody is titled "Almost Home" and designed as a prequel to "Home." Having read the plot description for "Home" the aliens comedic antics here don't mesh well with their unintended villainy in the real one.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles isn't an animated film...but maybe it should have been... www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCjsWpM9zFUI think the Turtles looked more realistic back in the 1990s films when they when they were just guys in rubber suits. I don't really have anything to say about this, seems a little CGI destruction heavy but you could say that about basically every big action film these days.

When I look at those Turtle designs, it reminds me of what the Goomba's looke like in the Super Mario Brothers Film!
The trailer here just makes it look too much like a Dark Knight want to be! And I'm really unsure of the Ninja origins here. Isn't almost every interpretation of the Turtles claim they were an accident and not made by a Lab to fight Crime?
Although, to add to Race's comment, CGI Destruction Heavy, but you could say that about every Micheal Bay film, Can't you?
