Like I said time and again, there are more things than just politics that will make a show feel dated. Granted, that is something major that will date it (I should know since South Park is guilty of that on so many levels), but there is more to it than that. Like I said before, kids today have no idea what floppy disks and cassette tapes are, so if they watched this show, they would ask their parents what those are. If you ask me, those should have been left out of the show entirely.
As for the Home Alone argument, I don’t watch that movie every Christmas, but two movies I do watch are A Christmas Story and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Both are great comedies, but Christmas Vacation is supposed to be set in modern day, but there are some things about it that make it so obvious that it’s stuck in the 80’s, which make it feel dated by today’s standards. Christmas Story on the other hand is more timeless and has aged very well; that movie is supposed to take place in the year, 1940; it’s supposed to be a historical event, so it has an excuse for being set the way it is.
Back to this series, I still rest my case: I really don’t think kids today would get it as much as children of the 90’s did, because it’s clearly irrelevant and dated by today’s standards. You guys can try to defend the series all you want, but my case still rests, and I am not going to let any of you force me to change my mind just for your sake.

Why does it matter if it's dated? Every show becomes dated. Kids are always going to prefer new shows airing in their time over old stuff. When I was a kid, I didn't like cartoons from the 70s and 80s. It's entirely natural. The real problem here is: why were you expecting the show not to be dated?
The best shows from the 90s, like Animaniacs or Tiny Toon Adventures, are dated as hell. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Besides 101 Dalmatian street might use modern day technology.

Yeah, I feel that the series did good in itself, I mean, we've got the show on Google Play and iTunes, I would say YouTube, but with Google merging with YouTube, you can say that Google Play is connected to YouTube somehow. But all games, shows and films are dated, some have aged well and some haven't, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to watch or play them, cause I will, 101 Dalmatians, I'm still going to watch, and if 101 Dalmatians Street is good, I will watch that. I can honestly say that the Dalmatians was my childhood, now that I've read the novel, it's even stronger and I hope that if and when I have kids, they would enjoy the book too. I can't say they would want to watch the movies or the TV Series, but I would hope that they would like the book and it's sequel.

"So you’re saying the only thing that would make this show dated is if they had references to politics? I’m pretty sure there’s more than just that."
That wasn't what I was saying at all. I was talking about how they took the stuff off a reference trying to minimize how it could date the show.
Dated isn't bad and the show did well for its time and that's all that matters. Not everything is going to, or was ever, meant to be DuckTales and proves to be an icon of its era. This show did well when new, stayed syndicated for several years, and was even a staple of Toon Disney. It did what it was meant to do.

That may be true, but Scooby-Doo is a 70’s cartoon that continues to air reruns to this day, and kids today still love it.
