Well, not only are they shutting down theaters on account of the virus, but the movie is set in China, where the virus started and is the most prevalent.

Ooooooooh, this has been in the News for a week or so now, but there seems to be word of Disney making a "Live Action" Hercules Film!
From what I have read, it looks like the Film shall be produced by the Russo Brothers! The Russo Brothers are known for Directing a number of Marvel Cinematic Universe Films, inclueding the Second & Third Captain America Films, as well as the Third & Fourth Avengers Films! It shall also be written by Dave Callaham, writer for the upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Film, set to premiere a year from today.
So, I do get the feeling that this "Live Action" Hercules is going to have a Major Marvel Cinematic Universe Vibe to it, but time shall tell.
What you think of this information, Pups!?

Ooooooooh, we have the cast announced for the “Live Action” Hercules, Pups!
It seems that Jeff Goldblum shall be Hades, and Danny DeVito is set to reprise his role as Phil!
I think the one to play Meg is in a show called K!lling Eve, but I need to check that.
What you think of this information, Pups!?

You can't replace James Woods with Jeff Goldblum and be any good.

I can see Jeff Goldblum in the Hades Role, like the Grand Master in Thor: Ragnarok!
Though; Now that I checked the Source of this information, turns out it was more a speculation post! Like, others floating ideas of who they feel should be cast! So, there has not been any Official word on casting, yet!
I do hear, however, it shall not be a direct adaptation of the “Animated” version. Some what similar to the upcoming “Live Action” Mulan! What differences to the Story, do you think they may do, Pups!?

That all sounds pretty promising.
In other news, I heard a few days ago, and you’re not going to believe this when I say it, that Disney is working on a live action remake of “The Black Cauldron”! Seriously, this is no hoax! They’re actually going to do it! Right now, it’s only in the early development stages, so we don’t have any info on it as of yet.

They would be better off getting James Woods to reprise the role. Or... anyone with a more intimidating presence than Jeff Goldblum.

Another update from Disney: The live action Mulan has now been postponed indefinitely. Since nobody knows when this pandemic will end, they’re actually considering bringing the movie straight to Disney+ at this rate.

I also hear that there is word that Tom Hanks is in early talks to play Geppetto in the "Live Action" Pinocchio, too!
I am now thinking of that time Drew Carey played Geppetto! You remember that, Pups!?

Any other word on the live action Pinocchio, bab? Like a tentative release date?

Considering they're still casting the Film, I think it is, at least, going to be another couple of years. No specific release dates at this time!
I do hear, however, that Robert Zemeckis shall be directing, and Filming is suppose to begin later this year!
That answer your question, Belchic?

All this news I’ve heard is like five years old already. Tom Hanks has been rumored to play Gepetto in this remake for quite a while.

I remember hearing about the time when Disney seemed like they were going to lose over $100 million as a result of the pandemic's impact on the live-action Mulan.
All I could say was "Now THAT sucks!"

Who cares? We never asked for any of these live action remakes anyway.
But Disney was really wanting to give this movie a theatrical release, but the pandemic has gone on way longer than they were anticipating, so they had no choice but to bring it to Disney+. This is why consumers have to pay a fee though so that they could make the money they would have earned had it gone theatrical. Unfortunately, nobody wants to pay the fee, so it looks like this is an unfortunate flop for Disney.
